  John is an absolutely awesome wedding officiant. He accommodated out schedule, traveled directly to where we wanted on Maui to conduct the wedding. He was very welcoming and explained everything about marriage licence procedure. Also, he gave us some Maui travel tips. Recommend John to everyone!

  We have been twice blessed to have John /Keoni as our officiant... for our civil union and, at last, our wedding.
  John gets to know the couple and what makes them unique, what they value, and what they wish. He tailors the ceremony to this couple only.

  My partner of over 35 years and I were officially married by John on a knoll overlooking a lovely beach on Maui's north shore shortly after the state of Hawaii formally recognized us as a 'legal couple'. John was the best choice for our simple, yet important ceremony. He meticulously guided us through the pre-nuptial plans and paperwork, and with his support and encouragement made sure that our day was a very special, personal and memorable one. He kindly presented us with several options to consider for the event and let us chose our own personalized ceremony that turned out beautifully and beyond our expectations. He has a warm, calm and confident manner. He is extremely professional, and has an engaging, comforting and uplifting personality. We are absolutely delighted with how he made us feel. We could not have chosen a better person to help plan and perform the ceremony and feel very fortunate to have gotten to know him. I would highly recommend him highly to anyone who wants to remember their special day.

  My partner Steve and I had been together for 30 years and wanted a small, intimate wedding at our home in Kula, Maui. John was recommended to us by friends and we knew right away he was the one to conduct our ceremony. John was thoughtful, helpful and kind through the entire process. He explained everything, helped us with our vows and answered all of the questions we had. It could not have been a more perfect day. If you are thinking of getting married on Maui or are locals like us that want a simple wedding at home, we cannot recommend John enough. Mahalo, John. ~Steve and Greg

  Having John as our officiant for our wedding was perfect. We planned our entire wedding in Canada but when I first met John on our wedding day it felt like I had already met him. Through the entire planning process he had been so detailed and so quick to respond to every email. I wasn’t really even sure what I was looking for in regards to our ceremony but he helped me and sent me such amazing guides that it made it so simple. Any changes I made he did quickly and accurately. On the day of the wedding he was there early so we could meet and he had everything prepared. For the ceremony he spoke so beautifully. After the ceremony he made sure he stayed around until we no longer needed him for anymore photos. It was so amazing how he worked completely around our schedule. Needless to say my husband and I hope to make it back to Hawaii one day for our vow renewals and John would be the only person we would ask to take part in that with us.
