Alyssa is thoughtful, intuitive, talented, reliable and tasteful. She’s by far the best photographer we could have chosen for our proposal, engagements, beach elopement, and everything in-between. She’s the one you want to hire, hands down. You won’t regret it. I can’t tell you enough how much we love our pictures, and just as importantly, how much we loved the experience with her there. Needless to say, we will be hiring her yearly for any reason we can think to get a shoot in. -

This is the second time I’ve had pictures done by Alyssa and she never disappoints! She captures exactly what I have in mind every time! The pictures she provides is straight out of a magazine…stunning! She also is so easy and fun to work with, I have never felt so comfortable in front of a camera until I started taking pictures with Alyssa! She worked with my crazy schedule and picked the perfect location for what I was wanting! Couldn’t recommend her more!!! -

Alyssa was the sweetest! She was attentive through the whole process and so helpful. I’ve had photographers not be proactive and take FOREVER in taking the wedding photos with family. She was quick, effective, and gave ideas on poses. My photo booth didn’t show up to the wedding and she was ON IT! She’s very personable and professional. She did a full day shoot while 8.5 months pregnant, so she’s not only a fantastic photographer, but a total bad***. -

Alyssa was simply amazing. From the first email and facetime call, to the final product delivered to my inbox. Her attention to detail, organization, time management, personality and eye for the best shot were impeccable. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. -

Alyssa did suck a great job! Everything felt so natural and she was so present for the entire wedding! She cared for my entire wedding party, not just me. She was so caring, kind, and professional! Would definitely recommend!! -

Over all she’s a great photographer!
I absolutely love our wedding pictures and engagement/bridal session pictures! They turned out just as I’ve always imagined. She does take a while to return the photos to you but it ends up being worth it! Beautiful edits! -

Faith Sent on 01/24/2024She got $1,200 for Doing Nothing
We hired Alyssa Michele in December 2023 for our spring 2024 wedding. Her communication was great and unbelievably fast. We signed the contract and paid the deposit, and her communication halted for days. No email reply. She did not answer our texts or phone call. Instagram showed that our messages were “Read”. Understandably, we were scared that we had been scammed. When she finally replied she offered no explanation. So we told her that we would be moving on and would find someone else. Only then did she offer explanations for her lack of communication and she wanted to make it right. But we no longer trusted her with our special day. We told her we spent days scared that we got scammed. We could not come back from that feeling and work with her. We decided to still move on despite her attempts to explain. She began calling and texting continually and even accused us of scamming her at one point… yet she had OUR money. We decided to dispute the credit card charge as she had not done ANY work at all. Yes, contractually we were not owed the deposit back. We knew full well we may not get the money back and were okay with that, as long as we felt good about whoever would ultimately photograph our wedding. She told my credit card provider that she “provided the purchased services in a timely manner and within the timeframe agreed upon”. That is a lie. And she knows she ghosted us after we paid and gave us a valid reason not to trust her communication. It’s our wedding! We don’t have time for anyone who is too busy to simply respond to us. She didn't have enough integrity or business ethics to admit her wrong and just give us our money back. She had not done any work for us. But she decided to go with her legal right to the money and she got away with $1,200 for doing absolutely NOTHING. We had not had any meetings. She did nothing besides send us a price list, answer some questions, and send a contract. I have emails, texts, and Instagram screenshots of all of our correspondence. Thankfully, we had budgeted for things like this and were able to seamlessly move along with our wedding planning. She’ll have to live with her decision to keep money that she didn’t work for. We just wanted to share this with anyone who may be considering hiring her.Alyssa Michele Photography's reply:
Hello Faith,
I am truly very sorry for your frustration that had happened with us working together. Unfortunately that Friday that your fiancé had officially booked me with the deposit and signed contract, I had a double header wedding weekend out of town. I truly try to be completely present to my couples when working with them on their big day which is why in my contract it states that it can take up to 48 hours for me to respond. I was hoping that since your fiancé had signed the contract and due to it being a weekend that you could understand that since my response came 32 hours later that it would be understood that I was present for my couples who deserved my undivided attention however, I understand your frustration and I am truly sorry for that lack of communication on my part. I am a one women show and unfortunately that is why I had that in my contract about my response time taking up to 48 hours. Unfortunately due to my contract being a legal binding agreement, the deposit for your wedding package was non refundable.
I wish you and your fiancé the best wishes when it comes to your big day and I am very sorry that I couldn't instill the communication and attention that I strive to give each and everyone of my couples.
