  Wonderful experience

  We are both so thrilled we found and booked Alyssa for our engagement and elopement photographer. She was so flexible with our schedule especially through COVID and a schedule that takes my husband out of country for work. Alyssa not only made us both feel comfortable, she was prompt, communicative, laughed with us, and was overall just a pleasure to work with. We are thrilled with every one of the photos we got back from both the engagement and elopement. It's impossible to choose just a few to print!

  So incredible!

  So so so happy we chose Alyssa to be our photographer! She makes the experience easy and comfortable. She’s very responsive with emails and texts. We got sneak peaks SO quickly after our wedding. And I’m so excited to see the wedding album she puts together.

  Alyssa is sick

  We feel so lucky to have had Alyssa document our wedding day. She was an easygoing, organized, and fun person to spend the day with, and she helped the day run smoothly and with small details (like a veil that didn't want to stay on!). Alyssa's artistic eye is incredibly impressive, and she captured our wedding so authentically and beautifully. We received our sneak peeks 2 DAYS after our wedding, and we can't wait to see the rest. Alyssa is simply the best.

  Alyssa was the best photographer we could've asked for! Her work is beautiful, she's so fast in getting photos back, and she's fun to work with! She made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot, so much so that my husband was excited to take photos during our wedding!   Hiring Alyssa to photograph our wedding was such a stroke of luck! She is friendly, approachable, communicative, and super detail-oriented. Neither of us had been professionally photographed before, and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Before the wedding, she made sure to get all the important details like the wedding day timeline and a shot list of family members for group photos. Her turn-around time for delivering photos was super fast. Not only is Alyssa super organized and efficient, but she is also REALLY talented. Our photos are more beautiful than I could have imagined.   Best wedding/engagement photos ever!!!!

  Alyssa captured fantastic engagement and wedding photos. I would not classify myself as photogenic and I find posing to be very awkward, but in every picture, I am thrilled how natural they turned out! I would hire Alyssa again in a heartbeat!

  Authentic & Candid Photos That Feel True To Us!

  Alyssa is absolutely phenomenal to work with! We had the very best experience during our engagement and wedding photography. We both have photography experience so choosing a photographer was one of the most important parts of the process for us. We wanted photos that were authentic and candid that we could look back on and feel like caught us in the moment.
  
  Alyssa achieved that perfectly! We had such a fun engagement session with her which helped us both get comfortable on camera. The location was unique and Alyssa even arrived extra early to plan out all the photo spots! We had a short engagement and had been worried there wouldn't be enough time between the engagement and wedding to get the photos back but Alyssa was extremely prompt with editing and sent sneak peek photos so quickly!
  
  On the day of our wedding Alyssa was such a supportive resource to us! She was very patient even when transportation delays occurred and still managed to get more photos than we had planned for. Alyssa went above and beyond to ensure we loved our photos. We are both very private people and had been nervous about how photography would work out but Alyssa made us so comfortable and captured such special photos.
  
  We were also amazed with how promptly the sneak peek and full photo galleries were delivered! It was so exciting to be able to reflect on our day since the day went by so fast and we felt like we wanted to see all the details we missed which Alyssa totally captured.
  
  Also, it may be worth noting we opted against hiring a videographer and we are happy we did since Alyssa captures every possible moment you could want.

  Engagement photos

  Finding Alyssa was such a lucky find! We had Alyssa shoot our engagement photos and it was actually our first photo shoot so we were a little nervous. We ended up having a great time and the pictures came out amazing. Also where we shot was so, so beautiful. So happy we have these forever photos!

  When I first came across Alyssa’s wedding photos on Instagram, I could tell she would be a great fit for my husband and I, and our eclectic, laid-back personalities and wedding vibes. As soon as I spoke to her on the phone, I could tell she was a real pro. She was super flexible and was so easy to book with. I didn’t hire a planner so I was very relieved by Alyssa’s organization when it came to mapping out a photo timeline and plan for our wedding day. She truly helped the entire event go smoothly. On the day of the wedding, she arrived and fit seamlessly into our wedding parties, making everyone look and feel incredibly natural. It honestly just felt like a friend was there taking photos of us! She was so quick at capturing every shot and has an amazing eye for the magical moments. She was especially great at giving direction to my husband and me and made us look very relaxed and natural. When we received our sneak peeks, my husband and I were over the moon. First of all, it was such a quick turnaround — she delivered sneaks just 3 days after the wedding and we had all of our wedding photos just a week after the event.   We can not say enough good things about Alyssa Ruby Photography. From the very start, she was personable, fun, excited about our wedding, and very organized. Everything is very streamlined- from the deposits, to the communications, to receiving the final gallery- she has it all available in an online platform and is also very willing to call and go over details/questions. But truly, her professionalism was just the cherry on top of the BEAUTIFUL photos we ended up with and her willingness to go the extra mile to make our dreams come true. My husband and I were married mid-COVID shutdown in July 2020- so Alyssa went through all of the changes and back-up to the back-up plans to make sure we could safely hold our wedding while still capturing the moments that meant the most to us. Because so few people could actually attend our wedding, being able to have such an amazing record of our day in photos was so important. And, boy, did she deliver!! They are gorgeous, creative, and fit so well with the feel of our intimate wedding. We HIGHLY recommend choosing Alyssa as your photographer- she’s got an eye for the picture and she’s truly just a kind and fun person to have at your event!

  Alyssa was impeccable from the very start. At every step, she was thorough, helpful and supportive. She made us feel comfortable with her right away, both on our calls with her and on the day of the wedding.

Both she and her second shooter were wonderful to work with and all of our wedding party and guests had nothing but great things to say about their interactions with them.
  
  Even though Alyssa is so young and relatively new to the field, you'd never know it. She seems like she's been doing this forever! And her photos speak for themselves. The end result was absolutely gorgeous and beyond what we could have dreamed of for our wedding photos. She put so much care into every detail, from the moments she captured to the presentation of our digital album and the USB she mailed us with all of our photos.   She's the best!!!!

  Alyssa was very personable and fun! She made us feel right at home and she even played our favorite songs for us. She helped us with our posing and got us laughing the whole time! We loved all of our photos, and loved the range of photos we received! She even created a few super cute gifs for us, which made our time with her even more special. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone!

  Amazing! So much fun!

  Alyssa is great! She is amazing at what she does, my engagement photos were exactly what I envisioned. During our session she was professional, and down to earth, my fiancé was a bit nervous (doesn’t like to take photos) and once we got there and Alyssa made simple conversation, he relaxed and enjoyed the whole session! She gave us great direction and took photos of moments she didn’t direct. Which are my fave! Highly recommend!

The environment she creates showcases on the camera and even though we are not comfortable in front of the camera, she made us looks flawless and model-like!   If your even thinking about Alyssa as your photographer stop and just go for it! She is hands down the best…not only did she capture our beautiful intimate moments but she captured the happiness of the whole day. Your so busy in your wedding day you don’t get to enjoy everyone else’s joy for you and we were really able to experience that looking back at the photos she took. She’s fun and quirky and makes you feel comfortable. I recommend 10/10 are photos were absolutely perfect!
