    Amanda did my hair and makeup for myself on location in Orlando, FL, and it turned out AMAZING!. She also did my moms hair and makeup, and all of the hair for my bridesmaids. I drove down south for my hair and makeup a month or two before my wedding in April and was so happy that we did that. I ended up changing a little bit on what I wanted for my eye makeup. Amanda is very nice, personable, and hilarious! She is honest too during the makeup trial when you show her ideas and what she thinks will look well. My airbrush makeup lasted ALL NIGHT, and I literally was dancing the night away and had a dress change. I highly recommend Amanda and her team for your wedding makeup and hair!!

    Carra did an amazing job on myself and bridal party. We all loved how we looked and she is so friendly and easy to work with. I loved that she knew I wasn't big on makeup but was still able to give me enough for a beautiful look for my big day without it being TOO much! Would definitely recommend!!!

    Kara did the makeup for my wedding. She was fantastic! She was really easy to work with. A few weeks before the wedding, we did a makeup trial which allowed me to really figure out what kind of style i wanted to have on my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she showed up promptly and was able to get me and all of my bridesmaids done quickly with extra time to do touchups. All of the makeup came out beautiful. I would highly recommend her.

    Ashley and Carra were amazing! Me, my seven bridesmaids, and mother and mother-in-law looked incredible all day and night, even after lots of happy crying, a beach ceremony, and pretty intense dancing! They were so sweet and professional. Amanda Lynn is DEFINITELY the best value for quality work in South Florida!

    Amanda had done a couple of weddings for friends of mine, so I didn't hesitate to hire her for mine. Her hair and makeup skills are amazing - she does beautiful work for completely reasonable prices. All of my bridesmaids and the mothers of the bride and groom were in love with their hair and makeup for my wedding, and I loved my own hair and makeup the most! Definitely recommend Amanda Lynn Co. for your wedding

    Amanda does amazing work. I was so pleased with my trial run with her that I booked her right away. Somehow she did an even more perfect job on the day of my wedding. I had a larger bridal party and everyone looked fabulous and was so happy with their hair/makeup as well! I would highly recommend her to anyone I know!

    Carra from Amanda Lynn did our bridal hair and makeup. She did a great job with the trial and on the wedding day. Didn't know my hair could look so good!

    I would highly recommend Amanda Lynn for hair and makeup!

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Amanda for your wedding, or any occasion! Before I met Amanda, I was never quite satisfied with the way my hair would come out. Since meeting Amanda, I would NEVER use anyone else. I was having lunch at a local restaurant with my mom when Amanda Lynn was recommended to me. It was when I was leaving the restaurant that I noticed the most beautiful color and styles of hair on both hostesses at the restaurant. Normally, I would never have the nerve to ask, but I just had to. Both women used Amanda Lynn. One was blond, the other was brunette. Both women had shiny, vibrant gorgeous hair. I knew just had to contact Amanda. Sure enough I did, and have been using her ever since. That was almost 6 years ago. I recently got married...November 17, 2012...and of course used Amanda for my hair and for my make-up, and I didn't just use her for me, but for my entire bridal party. Every single one of us were 100% satisfied! My mom, my sisters and my friends still talk about how beautiful they felt that night because of the way Amanda did their hair and make-up. Amanda has amazing talent for hair and make-up. AMAZING TALENT. She works efficiently and fast, her work is impeccable and she is really fun and easy to work with. She can get along with anyone and make you feel so beautiful and special. When she is doing your hair and make-up, she feels like a friend. She makes you feel completely comfortable to tell her her exactly what you want for your wedding day. Amanda listened to what I wanted and truly made me feel extra special and beautiful. I would recommed Amanda to anyone for ANY OCCASION, she will blow you away on how great she can make you look! Thanks Amanda, you are truly amazing, professional and simply...THE BEST!

    Amanda Lynn charges by the hour instead of by the person which I think is great. We initially had her booked for 2 ½ hours instead of 4 (she had another wedding that day) for her to do my hair and makeup and my moms. Since my wedding changed to a daytime wedding I was forced to go to her salon at 7am to do just mine. She was so flexible in changing that for me, gave an amazing rate and I looked flawless the entire day :)

    The only way to describe Amanda Lynn is that she is definitely a diamond in the rough. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. Not only did my hair look perfect and EXACTLY how the trial looked, well I lied, it looked BETTER then the trial, but my bridal party, mother, and mother in law LOVED her too. She has such creative ideas on how to wear your hair and makeup that my bridesmaids just said “Go with it and surprise me!” What an amazing artist at such an affordable price!!!

    Amanda is great to work with. She is extremely punctual and did the most amazing job on myself, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, mother-in-law AND maid of honor. Really she worked all day and made each and everyone of us look incredible. Look no further, Amanda is your hair and makeup artist.

    I live in VA and got married in FL. I wasn't able to meet with Amanda ahead of time but based on her reviews and email contact, I felt confident. Amanda came to our location and made everything smooth and easy. She completed our hair and makeup for all my bridesmaids and myself. She was able to listen to what everyone wanted and made us look beautiful.

    Amanda put me at ease immediately when she let me know that she was on her way and would be on time for our appointment. She did a great job on hair and make-up for my bridesmaids and I. She asked what we wanted and confirmed before starting. She used great products that looked great in pictures and lasted all evening.

    Amanda did hair and makeup for my January 12 wedding at the DoubleTree Grand Biscayne Bay. My bridesmaids, mom, and I were SO INCREDIBLY IMPRESSED. I can't even begin to describe what a phenomenal artist Amanda is. She showed up early on the day of the wedding and was set up in no time. She was so patient and easy-going with all of us ladies, and I really appreciated that. I was IN LOVE with my hair and makeup! I received countless compliments about how stunning I looked. I honestly felt like a movie star on my special day, and I have Amanda to thank for that! Amanda's prices are extremely fair - she doesn't charge an exorbitant amount for brides, which is very hard to come by in South Florida. Book with Amanda Lynn Salon for your special occasion hair/makeup. You will NOT regret it! I really can't imagine having gone with anyone else.

    Amanda is great, I'm so glad that I trusted my gut and choose her to do my hair and makeup for the wedding! My bridesmaids all LOVED their hair and makeup, and my mom looked beautiful also. It is so hard to find one person that can make so many different people happy and look great, but Amanda did it! Highly recommend!!!

    Amanda has been my hairdresser for some time and I was elated when she told me that she could do my hair and that of my bridal party for wedding day. Although it could have been scheduled a little earlier, I did have my hair trial 2 weeks before my wedding. Amanda trimmed my hair perfectly so as to not take off too much length for my updo. She also was very candid during hair trial about the time it would take to do vintage hairstyles for my bridal party and so I was able to plan with my girls to get everyone done on time. My hair trial was good in that I originally wanted a chignon, but the shape of my face was too square for a flat do in the front. And so I submitted pictures to Amanda for what I wanted (volume on the top) for wedding day. She did a superb job on wedding day and I was very happy with the outcome. My bridesmaids also looked beautiful with their loose curls. Amanda also saved me in that she told me that a plastic comb on veil would not work (my rented veil had a plastic comb). I was able to quickly go to David's bridal and purchase a simple veil with metal comb. It was perfect with my updo and my lace dress.
    The only suggestion I would make is to have the hair trial a little sooner in order to hash out some of these details without rushing. Other than that, I was very happy with her work! Thank you Amanda!

    I am editing my inital review of Amanda based on speaking with her husband this afternoon.
    I want to be fair for all brides out there and say Amanda was flexible in scheduling me and did attempt to come back after I was unhappy with my hair.

    My hair doesn't take a curl easily, but the only request my now husband had for our wedding day was to wear my hair down and curly. Amanda tried to give me a more natural curl @ my trial which did not work so for my wedding day she set my curls. When Nicole took my hair out it was perfect- it did start to slowly fall throughout the next hour - by the end of the ceremony I did have chunks of hair that went straight - and by the reception my hair was almost completely straight.. Amanda and I did have some miscommunication on her coming back to fix - but at the end of the day she did offer to come back and fix it for free.

    I did recommend to Aaron today that one piece of advice would be to check in with their brides following the wedding. I think a big chunk of the negativity I felt in regards to my hair was stemmed from miscommunication. If your hair is difficult in any way make sure you talk at length about your expectations and what plan "b" is if your hair is to go awry.
