  Amazing Cake

  Amanda was so great to work with! We had a great experience with the tasting, and she worked with pictures I found for inspiration for our cakes. She did both the Groom's Cake (Red velvet) and the Wedding Cake (4 different flavors!), as well as some gluten free cupcakes. The cakes looked fantastic! They looked just like our pictures; we were thrilled! The cakes were moist and yummy, and we had a lot of compliments from them. She was willing to work with us to make sure we had plenty of cake for our guests, and her prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend her!

  Cake Tasting Experience

  Amanda was an absolute sweetheart!!!! Our cake tasting was very professional and the cake was delicious! She helped us create a cake of our very own and we would definitely recommend her to anyone!!

  I was looking for someone to customize a cake for my son and daughter-in-law's baby shower. While I was at a salon one day a young lady inquired me about Amanda Cakery. I googled the business and contacted Amanda about what kind of cake I'm looking for. After visiting her at her shop I explained to her in details how I wanted the cake and the date I needed it. Later I had to changed the date for the event and she still was able to do it after checking her schedule. Amanda executed this cake. We got sooo many compliments on the cake and how good it tastes (almond pound). My son em saving the top of the cake for the baby's (Kade) birthday.

  We chose Amanda's Cakery after eating a good many of her cupcakes during our time studying at Mercer University. Amanda was very friendly and easy to work with. We went in for a tasting a little over a month prior to our wedding, and she helped us design a beautiful, simple, three tiered cake for the reception. We loved having different flavors on each tier, and she matched our style perfectly. The cake arrived when she said it would, and there was a box included for freezing the top tier. We got tons of compliments on the cake's style and flavor, and we were super pleased! I would highly recommend her cakery!

  We booked Amanda at almost the last minute and she was great to work with! Our wedding was a very hot day and even with the cake in full sun it never melted! Not to mention it tasted amazing and the doughnut grooms cake was a hit with everyone! Everything from the contract to delivery went smoothly

  Amanda prepared our wedding cake and groom's cake. Our wedding cake consisted of 84 cupcakes with a top tier for us to slice. We chose to use almond and sinful chocolate for our cupcakes and vanilla bliss for our top tier. We also asked Amanda if she would be able to make toppers that resemble our two cats. She also prepared chocolate chip cookie cakes for the groom's cake.
  
  Amanda was professional and excited from our first meeting. She went over the flavors, layout, and designs in detail with us. She was excited to be able to create toppers that were unique to us.
  
  We were so excited to see the final products on our wedding day. Amanda's Cakery did not disappoint! The cupcakes were arranged beautifully on the stand we rented from her, and the top tier was just gorgeous. She used a cream cheese frosting for the top tier, and detailed it with intricate swirls of the same color. She also put our initials on the side in navy.
  
  The cake toppers were the most adorable I could have ever imagined. She and her staff created them from fondant, and they were the exact colors of our two cats. One cat held a navy and white bouquet and wore a veil, and the other cat had a navy bow tie. They were sitting on their hind legs, and their tails made the shape of a heart. The details were just amazing right down to their facial expressions, paws, and ears.
  
  The groom's cake had our college letters on it, and it was perfect. The icing didn't make the cookie soggy, and the navy icing wasn't so prominent that everyone walked around with blue mouths after eating a slice. The texture and taste was absolutely wonderful.
  
  Everyone raved about the flavor of the cupcakes as well. They were thoroughly enjoyed by all. We ended up having extras, and even a week after the wedding the cupcakes and cookie cake were still moist and delicious!

  Amanda at Amanda's Cakery was great to work with. Our tasting was fun where we sampled different cake and icing flavors. We knew what we wanted for the wedding cake, but she helped us create the perfect concept for the groom's cake which was made to look at though my husband's duck call lanyard was laying over the top of the cake. She took my photographs and the cake was the perfect replica!
  
  She even sent us on our way with a his and hers cupcake that were the same icing and cake as our cakes. Amanda and her team are true professionals and excel at cake making and decorating!

  We ordered both a wedding cake and groom's cake from Amanda. They were both spectacular! The wedding cake was red velvet and almond poundcake, while the groom's cake was key lime. We got more compliments on not only how delicious they both were, but how great they looked. The groom's cake was a Georgia "cooler" that people could not believe was a real cake. Amanda does wonderful work and was wonderful to work with. She was very professional and also really sweet and fun to work with. I would 100% use her again and recommend you do the same.

  We absolutely loved both our wedding and Grooms cake. I am so glad that we decided to go with Amanda’s Cakery. Working with them up until the wedding was great! We showed her a picture of what we wanted and she gave us exactly that.

  Amanda's Cakery designed/made both the groom's cake and the wedding cake for our event, and they were both beautifully done and delicious! Our wedding was outdoors, with temperatures upwards of 75-80 degrees, and both cakes held up well, which we were also very happy about.
  
  At the initial cake tasting appointment, Amanda was very prepared and offered several helpful insights/comments about cake designs/flavors. We ended up picking out different flavors for each layer of both cakes, so that people at our wedding could be surprised by something unique (instead of just vanilla or chocolate only). We also went with some simple but unique designs, and Amanda worked with us on those design choices as well. She captured the designs we had envisioned perfectly!
  
  The only slight negative we experienced involved a few lags in communication, but that could probably be faulted equally on both sides. My (now) husband had a few design decisions for his cake that he was slow to reach, so we provided delayed information to Amanda via email for those. Communicating back and forth in this way took a week or two, rather than a few days, as we would have wished. We still got the information across and everything turned out great, however, so this is very minor indeed.

  The design style of the cake was just what we wanted. It was very simple, very us, nothing too ornate or fancy. The groom’s cake was a surprise from my husband’s mom, we had not expected it, and it was a delightful addition to our Hollywood Movie theme. The evening went by so fast I hardly remember tasting the cake, I do recall the cake tasting, and that was terrific. She was so kind and helpful in trying to decide on sizing, shapes, etc. There were some minor glitches in trying to contact her occasionally, but that is only because she was in the process of switching locations. Now that she is all moved in, I am sure that would no longer be a problem for anyone else. The process seemed hassle free, the cake was where, and when we needed it.
