    I haven't had my wedding yet...I've put my deposit down for my wedding..but when I walked in it was beautiful and clean..I can't wait until my big day!

    ***UPDATE POST WEDDING***
    All of my guests loved Ambassador Banquets, but I really need to give a kudos to Lynda. We had one major issue at my reception...the cake never got delivered! But don't worry, Lynda got on the phone with the bakery, and when the bakery said that they had no one to deliver it she went to pick it up. When she got there they didn't even have my cake!!!! She told the bakery that what she needed and they better give her some of my money back! Lynda came back with 2 full sheet cakes for my guests and a 1/4 sheet cake for my groom and me. No it wasn't my order, but she really saved the day! Such a great facility!

    -Pre Wedding review-
    So my Mother and Fiance went to this venue for me, because I'm a teacher and couldn't leave school on time. They were both so impressed. I knew what the place looked like so I wasn't concerned. I was more concerned about the owner as a few years back when we looked at this venue for my sister's wedding, the owner seemed like she didn't want our business. I was happy to hear that it is a different owner who impressed both my mother and fiance. She answered all of their questions and offered major flexibility and value. Can't wait to celebrate at Ambassador Banquets!

    Don’t let the location fool you. This place is absolutely beautiful! The chandeliers are stunning and the décor is very elegant. It was perfect for my fall wedding. The food was delicious! We had the roast beef, baked chicken, sauerkraut and sausage, mashed potatoes, & green beans with peppers. I also wanted to mention that the bread that came out with the salad was so good it was addicting! Diane, the Manager, was so nice and very easy to work with. All I had to do was drop off the favors, place cards, fancy cake knife, & card box a few days prior to the event and she took care of everything! Talk about being a Stress-Free Bride!! She helped me lay out the tables and took care of the center pieces too! We had 230+ guests and she made it easy!! Having our wedding reception at Ambassador Banquets was the best decision we ever made!

    Ambassador Banquets was amazing!!!! I looked at pretty much every single hall in NW Indiana and this was the one for me hands down! First of all, Diane (manager) is wonderful, she is very laid back and incredibly accommodating! Do not let the outside of the building fool you. When we first went to see the hall I was concerned because it is at the end of a strip mall. So I went in with low expectations, but when I entered the building I was amazed at how beautiful it was! It has gorgeous chandeliers through out and just beautiful decor. I was in love before I even went into the ballroom. They have three small rooms which can be converted into a large room and the LARGESTS and coolest dance floor I have ever seen!! Two brides rooms, four bathrooms, and even a smoking room! The best part is the pricing, they are not only reasonably priced but they are the only hall I found that has a 100 person minimum on a Saturday! Diane took care of everything, I brought her the favor boxes and everything I wanted at the reception on the Wednesday before our wedding and when we arrived to our reception it was all done perfectly! The food was amazing! The roast beef is very unique in shape and tastes great and their mashed potatoes and gravy is to die for, closest to homemade I have ever had at a reception! All of my vendors told me how wonderful they were to them and Diane stood in the wings the entire time incase we needed her.

    Towards the end of the evening we were in need of an ambulance for one of the grandparents and the security personal there was wonderful and the entire staff showed great concern and accommodated the EMT's in every way.

    All in all I would recommend this hall to any bride looking for that perfect reception! Thank you Diane!

    My best friend recommended this location for my wedding reception (I had never heard of it before that), and I loved it as soon as I walked in. The banquet rooms were beautiful, very well-kept, clean, and the layout was great. The manager was more than willing to work with me on scheduling (as I wanted an early reception and early dinner), and the prices were great. I had been to other places which would only allow room rentals for certain time slots and who cost a lot more than Ambassador. My reception turned out perfectly, the food was great, the bar was fully stocked, and everything was just beautiful.

    The coordinator, at times, seemed put out with us. Our food was served cold. The worker complained that the guests were not tipping enough at the bar. The security guard was rude to the guests at the end of the reception. On the plus side the hall is beautiful and they allowed us to decorate (begrudgingly).

    Everything was beautiful but the woman who runs the place is a snob. She isn't flexible, is anal, and was rude to many people. She managed to offend my officient, my husband, my photographers, as well as some guests and, of course, myself. Other than that it is very classy.

    Booked our wedding here, signed a contract for our date and gave a deposit. Linda called 2 months later first to ask if we had decided on a date yet (what??) and then called back to say she had just booked another larger event for the same day and we would not be able to have 2 rooms, which she promised us and was one of the main reasons we went with Ambassador. She told me she did not promise that and that she takes excellent notes, would have written down something like that... obviously that's not true because she didn't even have our wedding down on the calendar after signing a contract and taking a deposit. It seems she had no problem pushing our 100 person wedding aside when something bigger came along. After this happened, I found out from a family member that Ambassador did the same thing to her brother-in-law a week before the wedding. Buyer beware.
