  I was one of those people that was hesitant about getting a wedding coordinator. I am so thankful that I listened to others and worked with Amelia and Mae Events. Everyone always says the week before your wedding you are so stressed out. I wasn’t at all because Allie and Julie had everything taken care of. They put together my favors, invitations, ceremony programs, signs and decorations for my reception, contacted and confirmed with all of my vendors, and made detailed time lines. Any time I had a question they answered me so quickly. They were even there to listen to me vent about how controlling my mother was or how my future brother in law was being a pain. It was comforting to talk to them and get their advice. The day of the wedding I found myself the most thankful for them. Julie was at my venue making sure everything was delivered and set up correctly. Allie was with me while I was getting ready. My flowers were delivered messed up, and she fixed them. my dress got stained, she fixed it, my dads boutineer broke, she fixed it. All of these little things were going wrong but I didn’t even care because she immediately took care of everything. She helped move along the day smoothly by lining everyone up and assisting with pictures. She was so nice and easy to talk to and I am beyond grateful to have had Julie and Allie help me with my wedding. If you are back and forth about using a coordinator, I highly recommend that you work with Allie and Julie.

  Amelia and Mae Events are fantastic! They were so much fun to work with and had such great ideas that really helped me with my planning. Whenever I had a question they answered it right away! I always felt like they were completely understanding of my vision even if I couldn’t explain it the right way. They also outdid themselves on the decorations. It’s been 4 months and I’m still getting compliments on how everything looked!
  They were always helpful and calm and took so much responsibility off my shoulders that I didn’t feel stressed throughout the planning process at all. They made my year and a half engagement so stress-free. They really made me feel secure and excited about how my wedding was going to look.
  When the day of came everything was even more amazing than I thought it could be. I had trouble picking certain themes and ideas and they helped me achieve my vision, and then they exceeded it! My wedding was the most beautiful day of my life and I owe that to Amelia and Mae Events!
  10/10 I would recommend them for any party needs! Thank you so much!

  Hiring Amelia & May for as our flower vendor and also as our overall wedding coordinators was the best decision we made in planning our wedding. Allie brought energy, creativity, and talent to all aspects of the wedding planning process, and continually made herself available to help us in trouble-shooting the inevitable issues that come up in the planning process. She brought ideas and visuals to every meeting to address our areas of concern -- she even helped us with choosing our wedding attire, since we were going in somewhat of a nontraditional direction. We were thrilled with the quality of Allie's work, and feel grateful to have had her conscientious support throughout. For the flowers, Allie and Julie created the exact kind of look we wanted, and gave us multiple options that worked within our budget. They also brought fresh ideas for our flower girls, which added a really nice special touch.   Before our first meeting, my husband and I completed a detailed questionnaire to help Allie and Julie get to know us as a couple, our vision for the big day and to see where we were in the planning process. Their questions helped us to start envisioning what we wanted our wedding day experience to be.
  Based on the information provided, Allie and Julie created a vision board with ideas to help us narrow down and specify what we wanted, needed and just genuinely loved. The board contained ideas for centerpieces, guest books, escort card display, signage, favors, table number display and photo booth props. They were so patient and great at communicating with us throughout the planning process.
  While it’s difficult to select a “favorite” aspect of their work, we absolutely loved the escort card display and the mantle pieces they decorated. Both helped to create a welcoming and bright atmosphere with a personalized touch. They are so creative and talented and worked within our budget. Without their help, our wedding would have been missing all of the small details that make the difference between a party and an elegant and memorable affair.
  Allie and Julie are there for their clients to represent and ensure the day meets their expectations. I am so happy that they were available for our wedding weekend, we couldn’t have done it without them! Thank you, Amelia and Mae Events, for making our wedding day beyond anything we could have hoped for!

  Having Allie plan my wedding was the best decision I could’ve made. She was professional and personable and took the stress out of our special day! She is extremely organized and creative and talented. Looking forward to working with her again for any special occasions to celebrate!
