My wife and I wanted to extend our sincerest gratitude to the Ameristar team for helping to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the moment we chose Ameristar as our wedding venue, we knew we had made the right decision, and our experience with you only confirmed that. Samantha was a pleasure to work with.

Everything went seamlessly, from the initial planning stages to the big day itself. The attention to detail and professionalism truly exceeded our expectations. We received numerous compliments from our guests about the stunning venue, the impeccable service, and the delicious food and drinks.

We are so grateful for all the hard work and effort that Ameristar put into making our special day one that we will cherish forever.

Oh my Ameristar made my Wedding so amazing. I worked closely with Emily and she was AMAZING. She always responded to my several emails and responded quickly. She helped me make my dream wedding happen. Everything to the last detail. My wedding was beyond perfect, and thats because of the venue. The ballrooms are HUGE, very spacious. Then the cocktail hour was perfect right out front. The bartenders were amazing, and EVERYONE is raving about the food. The food was top notch. I can't say enough amazing things about having your wedding reception at Ameristar. If I had to do it again no doubt it would be at ameristar!

My daughter had her reception at the Ameristar Discovery Ballroom. It sincerely couldn't have gone any better. Samantha was incredible to work with. She answered every little question and made every wish come true! Paul and Miguel, the day-of banquet captains, kept everything moving and the entire day was flawless! I would HIGHLY recommend the Ameristar!

Ameristar is such a fun and unique place to have a wedding! We had our ceremony on the lawn and reception in RYSE nightclub and it was so perfect. It was the perfect outdoorsy ceremony and fun atmosphere for the reception. Samantha and her team were so awesome to work with! She was great with communication, details, and helped us every step of the way. They were great with handling any changes, especially last minute ones we threw their way. The food during the reception was incredible. All of my guests complimented how good the food was! I cannot say enough good things about our perfect day!

One of the biggest deciding factors for my husband and I were that you only had to pay $1000 down to reserve the day. You don’t pay anything more until the month before your wedding and then 3 days prior. We loved the space and ameristar had everything we wanted near by.

Everything was incredible! The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Samantha helped us with everything we needed!

Everything was perfect. We used the Landmark Atrium room which was so pretty. Samantha was very responsive and easy to work with. The staff at the reception was great. The guests stayed at the hotel and there was plenty of options for them to do. Awesome experience.

I honestly cannot write enough AMAZING things about our experience at Ameristar for our wedding. We had our wedding reception out on the lawn and it was flawless. The staff at Ameristar are top tier and the service was unmatched from the beginning through the end. We specifically worked with Samantha at Ameristar to plan our wedding and she was a DREAM. She was always available, was willing to look into everything we asked for, and always had a solution. I would recommend her 1000x over and she was the most amazing support (and there were some particular requests, ha!). Next up, was the food. I still have guests telling me how amazing the food was and that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We had a sit down dinner with the braised beef short rib and the airline chicken. The dishes came out steaming hot and the chicken was juicy. The bartenders, wait staff and event staff were incredible. I cannot recommend Ameristar enough. The lawn is absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments on the setup. People didn't even know the space existed! For reference, we had cocktail hour around the pool and a sit down reception on the event lawn. I would choose Ameristar over and over again for the experience and service.

We held my daughter's wedding reception on the Event Lawn at the AMERISTAR, in St. Charles. So many of our guests never even knew this beautiful space existed. The entire staff was accommodating, efficient and a pleasure to work with. Our event manager at AMERISTAR was Samantha and she is kind, ready to assist and support in any way she can, she never says no ( she says "let me check on that one..LOL) she's never in a bad mood and if she can't pick up your call she always calls you back. The venue looked gorgeous, jaw dropping gorgeous!! I will try to post pictures on the AMERISTAR website. Words will never express the appreciation and gratitude we have for Samantha. On to the subject, of food. Food is the number one priority in my family, so for all of them to still be raving about the food we served at the reception is a big win!! The chef at AMERISTAR was fabulous to work with, she did a sit down dinner for 220 people and everyone, and I mean everyone to this day, is still talking about how incredible the food tasted. Not only was it delicious, but it was still steaming hot when it arrived in front of them. The chef did an OUTSTANDING job!!! We had about 125 people stay overnight in the hotel, with wonderful comments about how spacious and beautiful their rooms were. I will say it again and again, especially if you want an outdoor reception. The Event Lawn at AMERISTAR Hotel and Spa is a hidden GEM!!!

If you are searching - SEEK NO FURTHER. The Ameristar was amazing for our venue. I cannot express enough about how great this venue was. We did the rooftop wedding and had our reception in the Ryse Night club. I began planning this wedding back in early 2019 and I requested multiple visits to ensure this was the right place for our wedding. Jodie was very prompt with replies, super kind, and accommodating. I almost feel as if no was never an answer that could come from them in response to a request I was making for our wedding. Once Jodie and I finalized the booking, Samantha took over to help us see our perfect day through. Although I had a day of coordinator - Samantha and her assistant Jill were there every step of the way ensuring everything was perfect! Our timeline, our process, EVERYTHING went off without a hiccup. My husband and I could not have been any happier with the services we were given. The chef at our tasting made it a fun experience and they even remember the little things from our initial remarks about our thought with their food by remembering our personal favorites and taste preferences.The food was AMAZING and unlike any wedding venue food I have ever had before. The service was impeccable! Their servers and bartenders were so pleasant and were genuinely excited that we were there, thanking us for picking them. I expected just a buffet style service but it did not stop there - there was waiters coming to tables to service drink needs, give out cake, and take drink orders. I was blown away. I ordered a drink and had a slightly different preference and Jill jumped in to make sure it was perfect and waiting for me at our sweetheart table. Not only that but they were very reasonable with their pricing and I felt we got much more than what we paid for. There are endless spots of great photo opportunities and the Ryse night club really brought an elegant feel to our wedding. Our guests loved the venue idea - when the party ended in the night club it started back up in the casino! We made a whole weekend of it here and we could not be happier with the services. Great place to have a wedding, Samantha is my day of coordinator and venue point person and she is awesome!! I cant wait until October!!

Ameristar is very flexible and willing to work with what you want. They literally let us create our own menu, as we had a very specific one in mind. Samantha has been awesome with us in communication.

We had our ceremony and reception in the Imagination Ballroom. Everything went according to our plan and it was so simple working with the Ameristar staff. Samantha was our event coordinator and was beyond anything we could've hoped for. She took so much pressure off of our shoulders. Samantha helped us plan and arrange our events from the food tasting, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. This venue offered everything we needed to make our day a success. The staff made us feel so welcome and special on our wedding day. They felt like part of our family. If you are looking for a venue that is family friendly and has a lot of things to do in one location, I would highly recommended. Samantha will lay everything out for you and show you how your day will pan out. She is so professional and loves what she does.

Our daughter's reception was held in the Discovery Ballroom on Jan 3, 2015. What a wonderful evening it was! We had so many compliments on the venue including the overall look of the ballroom, the food, the attentive staff, and virtually every aspect provided by Ameristar. Samantha was absolutely terrific in handling all the details and responding promptly to our requests. Nothing seemed to faze her! She was so pleasant to work with, and seemed to enjoy the planning process as much as we did! She had practical and creative suggestions for all our needs. The floor captain and staff were also very helpful and easy to work with. They provided every detail stated in our contract and more. This is our third (and last) daughter's wedding, and I have to say that this was the easiest and most fun experience we've had. We had our wedding in Home Nightclub. The space is beautiful. The event managers were great to work with. They met every request and everything went so smoothly!

We LOVED this venue! The venue was in the lounge, which was the old "Home" nightclub (not the conference center, where they rent out rooms as well.) It was the most unique setting for a wedding. The guests sat in booths that encircled the dance floor and each guest had a great view. The DJ could hook right into the system and it created a perfect setting to dance the night away for our wedding night. The ladies that we worked with were very nice, helpful, quickly answered questions, and really kept the flow going throughout the night. The food was excellent as was the staff. The room before walking into the actual reception place was perfect for the cocktail hour too, as there was a big bar, couches, and a great ambiance.

Ameristar provided the venue and catering for our daughters wedding. They knocked it out of the park when it came to quality and service. The food was delicious the room was crazy nice and the staff couldn't have been nicer. This is where you want your daughters reception!

We had our wedding at Home Nightclub. I wanted something different. Something warm and cozy and a venue I could do everything in one spot. Jodi was amazing! We couldn't of done any of this without her. The food was amazing. We had pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables and a million different kinds of rolls. Another plus to the site is there are a bunch of other places to go after within the building so people don't have to drink and drive and they can also stay in the hotel as well. My wedding was everything I hoped and dreamed of. All of my vendors were awesome and works cry well with each other. We also had Rockstar Dj, Sarah's cake shop, and Mirage photography.

LOVE LOVE LOVE AMERISTAR! My husband and I absolutely loved Ameristar and the employees. The space is beautiful and stylish! They were so great to work with and so helpful. If we could get married again we would still choose Ameristar for our reception. The Food was amazing! It's been over a year since our wedding and people are still talking about how much fun they had at our reception! The only glitch we had at Ameristar is that the bride and groom have to have their id's to get served alcohol. Which pist us off because our ids were in our room at the hotel all the way across the casino. So we missed out on 30 mins of our party to go fetch our ids from the hotel room. I would highly recommend Ameristar, just remember to have your id with you if you plan on drinking.

We have been inundated with compliments from "this was the most beautiful wedding venue I've ever been to EVER" to "that was the best dinner I've ever had at a wedding." Even our family commented that our wedding was "a first-class affair"
We booked 2 years out and Samantha and her team were so great to let us do a couple of on-site visits for planning purposes. Our tasting experience was wonderful.
The morning of, we called Samantha for her opinion on the weather forecast and we talked us off the preverbal edge.
I cannot say enough great things about how smoothly our day went because of this team. Not having to worry about if things would be executed allowed us to be present in the moment and enjoy every second of our wedding.

We had a lot of family and friends coming in from out of town, so we really wanted to be able to have the entire wedding in one place. My husband used to film weddings, so we were also looking for something very unique, not your typical banquet hall. The Ameristar couldn't have been more perfect. We were able to have our ceremony outside on their beautiful event lawn, and our reception was held in the Nightclub. So many people gave us compliments on the venue. And all of our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how good the food was. Especially the guests who stayed at the hotel and got to enjoy all the amenities (restaurants, casino, arcade, pool, spa). My husband and I were even able to get a massage at the spa the day of our wedding, which I highly recommend to every bride and groom!
Jodie and Samantha were so helpful in all the aspects of planning, they helped make my part easier.
The only complaint we have was the hotel seemed a bit more out of the loop than we thought they would be, but that is tiny compared to how amazing the rest of the day went.

We chose the HOME event space due to its unique atmosphere and its amazing dance floor. (after all it’s a former nightclub.) Also, it is totally forth including the lighting in your package as it adds a lot to the venue. Our parents and we were extremely satisfied with every aspect of the event. The staff was very polite, prompt and accommodating.
The only issue arose when Jodie (our coordinator) was honest. We chose to close the bar for a short period between the cocktail hour and dinner and it was apparently closed a little longer than were agreed on. So, they approached my father and I and offered to keep the bar open that extra period of time or refund the money. We opted to keep it open. Everyone was disappointed when the last song came on because they didn’t want the party to stop.

Great service, Jodie was the one was in charge for my wedding was very professional, even though our reception was vietnames- chinese tradition and she helped us to find and plan the reception.
