Shannon Sent on 07/02/2011During the booking process Amore was fantastic! However, come the wedding day and days to follow we became increasingly dissatisfied with their service. I had called to verify that I could have a DVD played as a surprise to the groom when he was picked up, something that the customer service lady ensured me I could do. However, day of the wedding the driver said "it was broken he would have to check" and when asked again simply said "nope"
The driver also bad mouthed my photographers for taking "stupid pictures and wasting time" and he yelled from the limo as we were getting our pictures done that he had to go and had to be down in the South Side by 7:30. Keep in mind, we did sign a contract saying that if the time ran over we would be responsible for paying the extra time, something which we were fully willing to do.
We were dropped off to our reception early, and certainly missed out on some more pictures with just the bridal party. The driver also sassed one of the attendants with smart remarks and barked at two attendants. Days following the wedding we were told many more stories like this from the bridal party and so we decided to call the company. During our call, the woman simply told me that the driver had been with them for 14 years and had never received a complaint. Regardless of this being true or not, there was no apology, nothing. With my DVD not being able to be played, it was simply shrugged off although I mentioned I had called that week to make sure it was able to be done.
They showed up and took us where we needed to go so all in all I guess it wasn't a complete loss. I just wish there was some kind of apology to my guests who had to suffer from the verbal harassment of this completely unprofessional and extremely rude driver. -

Kelly S. Sent on 08/19/2021Broke down and had to Uber to wedding, door jam fell off opening door and snagged and ripped my dress, blood stains on Escalade limo, irratic driving
Just run! The limo showed up with “blood stains” on our Escalade limo that all my guests noticed. Our limo broke down in the middle of downtown so I had to Uber to my own wedding with half of my wedding party walking and half of them also ubering. The driving was irratic, slammed on brakes and I went flying, champagne doused my bridesmaid and groomsmen and ruined it for pictures. The door jam around the car completely fell off the hinge and as we were getting out ripped and snagged my thousands of dollar dress. It’s taken multiple emails and calls to even get a minimal response. Not even getting half the money back and still haven’t seen it. They were aware of this issue and never bothered to reach out to me to rectify this situation and we got married on July 3rd.Amore Limousines's reply:

Unfortunately, there are times where mechanical issues happen beyond our control. We did try to rectify the situation as well and send another vehicle, however, that offer was turned down.
Our clients are our first priority and when an issue happens, we try as fast and as hard as possible to rectify the situation. -

Kristine Sent on 09/25/2014Hired an SUV to drive me and my 3 bridesmaids 2 miles from the hotel to our wedding venue. She called prior to arrival and said she was running 20 minutes late. 30 minutes later (already 15 mins late to my own wedding), she "arrives"... to the wrong hotel. After that, I told her to cancel the ride, and we drove ourselves in my Camry. I was 30 mins late to my own wedding because of this company. The next day, I got an email stating that my credit card was charged for the ride. I made 3 calls to the company over the next 3 days, left 2 messages, and never received a call back. When I finally talked to someone, she didn't even apologize, and just told me that she never charged the card. Absolutely horrible customer service- would never recommend these guys to anyone.
