  Single-handedly the most important detail

  I hired Eileen just over 3 months out from the wedding day, at the time, much to my then-fiancés chagrin. He felt we didn’t need it, and it was a waste of money 7-months into planning. But I had done my homework, and Eileen’s pricing was fair, and she was absolutely polished. From our first call, it was an amazing fit; I felt the weight of the world lifted with Eileen’s reassurance. She went into action immediately, taking over all of the vendor communication and confirmations, keeping me accountable on my checklist items I had left, reminding me of dates I’d given her, provided drafted and a final perfected timeline, and was patient, flexible and direct [but kind] with all of us the whole process. She also attended a last minute in-person venue meeting with extremely short notice — she instantly showed my guy her value, and there was no question that this service was worth every penny and more. The way my stress level was impacted by having her on our team was invaluable.
  
  Maria and Emily were my day-of girls, and though I was sad to not have Eileen available for my date (she told me during our first call that she was already booked that day), she remained available to me right up until the night before the wedding, and her two stand ins were equally fantastic. It torrentially downpoured the entire day, and we were quite sure that it would from about 3 days in advance (ah Sept. 2023, we’ll never forget your very rainy Saturdays). Again, Eileen sprung to action ensuring extra umbrellas were brought to our partially outdoor venue, that all vendors were prepared to shift gears to accommodate, and that contingency plan details were confirmed and in order. Emily and Maria kept the energy high and the timeline to a tee. I cannot recommend An Affair to Remember ENOUGH, and honestly can’t imagine having had the extremely successful, wet, stress-free and perfect wedding weekend that we had without Eileen and her team. I’m sure I’m forgetting details they handled but man, this was easily the best money we spent this year. Husband is totally a believer now lol.

  100/10 would recommend Eileen!!!

  I can not recommend Eileen enough for all of her help the day of our wedding. I am a detail oriented person so at first I thought I wouldn’t need any help. But towards the last few months of our big day, I found Eileen and I’m so thankful that I did! Eileen reached out to all of my vendors and helped me keep track of everything so that nothing was missed. This was essential as we had tons of last minute changes and she really help to alleviate that stress. When our big day finally arrived, Eileen was there to take care of everything and more! She knew what I needed before I even had to ask. When my bustle ripped, she was right there with safety pins to fix my dress. She anticipated me being thirsty and when I turned around she had another drink ready to go. She took care of all the communication between my vendors and made sure everyone (including family) were where they needed to be. I truly can’t recommend Eileen enough and stress how essential she was to making our day so special!

  Eileen brought our wedding vision to life!

  My husband and I knew from the beginning that we wanted to hire a wedding planner to make the process smoother since we both worked full time, live in Virginia and were planning a wedding in New Jersey. Eileen was our first of 5 planner interviews and we loved how reassuring she was and her maternal nature. She felt like the most natural choice and I am so glad we hired her. She was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. She did a great job of explaining all that she is able to do with full planning and what we would be responsible for and breaking up tasks into manageable chunks so we didn't get overwhelmed. We appreciated that she was always very patient with us, even when we dragged our feet on getting certain things done. She helped me a lot with some family drama (inevitable to come up when planning a wedding) and supported the steps necessary to ensure we got the outcome we wanted. The week leading up to the wedding was relaxing since everything had been taken care of and all we needed to do was stick to the timeline which is exactly what we wanted, to just show up and enjoy the day. Everything came together so perfectly and beautifully, we truly could not have been happier. Our guests had a wonderful time and could not stop raving about it being the best wedding they'd been to - also one of my and my husband's goals. Eileen really was the backbone to all of that and we could not have done it without her. She knows all the right people for what you need and if she doesn't, she will find them for you. Please do yourselves a favor and hire Eileen to plan your wedding :)

  Eileen was the day of coordinator I needed to make the day go perfectly!

  After searching for weeks and meeting with various day of coordinators, we knew Eileen was the right fit for us after one 30 minute zoom call. She was extremely thorough and gave us the guidance we needed to make the big wedding day go smoothly. She was also responsive on email AND on our zoom calls making sure we hit every check mark needed. She reached out to our vendors to build a rapport and an effective timeline. I knew I could enjoy our wedding day and I didn't have to think or worry about any details - it was all planned out for us. We had a very rowdy and large group for pictures and she got them all in line and us through every picture we wanted without any hassle. I highly recommended and would use her again 1000 times over!

  Eileen is amazing!! Highly Recommend

  We were lucky enough to find Eileen when looking for a DOC. From the initial consultation, it was very clear Eileen was an expert, and very organized. Fast forward to our wedding this past weekend, we could not have done it without her!! She managed all situations with grace, professionalism, and an amazing attitude. She helped our vision for our wedding come alive with her flawless execution, and detailed oriented working style. She was able manage all vendor working styles, and was even able to create to resolve a last minute bustling emergency. If you’re looking for an amazing DOC, look no further!!!

  My husband and I got married April 27,2024. We had looked into day of coordinator services in summer of 2023 but were talked out it by family and our budget. About two weeks before the wedding my mom and I looked into again because we were feeling overwhelmed. Eileen and her team stepped right in. They were amazing and turn around time for a timeline and them communicating with all of our vendors was amazing! They stepped right up to the plate and helped me out so much. Michelle and Maria were with us on the day of the wedding and they were amazing and helpful. They kept us calm and not rushing thru things! They kept us on timeline and supported us completely! We are appreciative to them!

  Eileen was so incredibly helpful for our wedding. We had about a 4 month timeline for planning our wedding and Eileen made the whole thing happen flawlessly on an very short timeline. She helped us find incredible vendors and helped with all of the coordination with them leading up to the event. On the day of the wedding I had zero stress the entire day because I knew Eileen had everything under control. She really went above and beyond in every way, and I don't think we could have pulled it off without her.

  Eileen was a delight to work with during our wedding planning process. We hired her for month of but she was available from the moment we hired her (8 months prior to our wedding). She was well organized, responsive, knowledgeable, a big problem solver, and always with a smile and good sense of humor. She communicated with our vendors without involving my fiancé and I which kept our stress level to a minimum, especially during the week leading up to our wedding. On the day of, Eileen and her team made our day run so smoothly. They were there from early in the day during hair and makeup all the way through to the last sparkler send off. An Affair To Remember helped make our wedding dream come true!

  Thanks to Eileen and her team our the entire wedding planning process and wedding day was incredible. Eileen was always available for questions and super helpful in her guidance. She dealt with all vendors and contracts, leaving us stress-free the month and day of. Her organization, attention to detail, professionalism, kindness and ability to keep everything (and everyone) on track so seamlessly is extraordinary. If anything went wrong, we had no idea!   Wonderful experience working with Eileen.

  I like to plan things but on the day of our wedding I wanted to be able to relax and have fun with my husband. Eileen was wonderful and took care of all of the behind the scene things so that we could just relax and enjoy the night. We had several counseling sessions beforehand where we went over what our expectations were for the day. She was very flexible and able to work with me because I have a very busy schedule. She was always able to make time for me. On the morning of one of my nails broke and she brought me clear so that I could fix the decorations on it. And, when it was discovered that there was no good way to do a lineup for the processional Eileen was able to quickly find us a new route through a different part of the building that was hidden from our guests.
  
  I thought that her services are wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone that is planning a wedding in her area. Thank you Eileen!

  Eileen was so very kind and helpful from the moment I met her! She assisted me every step of the way in planning our 10 year vow renewal. She anticipated every detail and gave amazing feedback. She was very flexible with her schedule and amazing at follow up. Her assistant that she brought for the day of the wedding renewal, Janet, was just as sweet and lovely to work with as her!   Organized and flexible to work with

  Eileen will make all your wedding dreams come true! My husband and I did over a 2-year engagement, and about a year and change into our planning, the decision fatigue really kicked in and we hired Eileen. She swooped in with her magic wedding wand and made sure all the little (and big details) were all taken care of. She was always one step ahead when it came to contacting vendors, answering the questions I hadn't even though of yet, and making sure I had exactly what I needed day of. She was a great personality match for me, as well, and took charge of everything while still working with me. She contacted and confirmed with all our vendors, created our day of timeline, and even went above and beyond and came to our rehearsal the night before to run through our processional. She made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day and that everyone and everything were exactly where they needed to be.   Eileen made our entire wedding planning experience easy. She was always available for advice, ideas and most of all...her experience. There were so many things we had no clue about and she was able to explain things and lead us to make the best choices for our wedding. Her assistant Maria was also very helpful and because of them our wedding day was smooth as silk. Thanks Eileen!!!

She made superb suggestions and we felt 100% confident we were in good hands the whole time we worked with her. If she needed to ask me any questions the day of the wedding she knew exactly when to interject and kept everything running perfectly. She helped me think of and plan for things I'd never have considered. I also really appreciate that she was never pushy. The second I said 'no' to something she said 'ok no problem' and moved on. I never felt pressured to do anything I didn't want to do or was uncomfortable with. And her day of assistant was lovely as well :) Best decision you can make even if you're planning a lot of things yourself.

  Eileen was the true unsung hero of our wedding. She was so on top of everything from the very first time I talked to her. Our first meeting I could feel her experience and knowledge which I valued so much. I planned my entire wedding and knew I needed someone with experience to help guide us and make sure everything went smoothly. I forgot a couple of details that would’ve totally ruined the day and Eileen just swooped in and knew exactly what to ask so she could help our day be seamless. We had a hiccup at our ceremony where there was no public bathroom and Eileen literally went door knocking looking for anyone that will let us use their bathroom. If that doesn’t sell you on this woman’s dedication then I don’t know what to think of you. Eileen was so focused and made sure that we had little to NO STRESS on the day of. I don’t know how she did it, the woman is an Angel. I would hope that everyone sees this and decides to move forward with Eileen because you would not regret it. I can not thank her enough for her dedication and service.
