When I had my consultation with Lisa, I knew she would help make my wedding vision come to life! She asked me questions about details I hadn't thought about, and helped me start to visualize what she could put together. I thought Lisa's costs were very reasonable, and I'm looking forward to planting some of the wedding flowers in the garden next year to remind me of the beautiful bouquets! An Elegant Affair did absolutely stunning work creating flower arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding. Lisa, the owner is a wonderful and person. She listened to what we like and importantly, what we didn't want, provided good ideas and feedback, and ultimately produced gorgeous flowers for the big day. She was professional, responsive, and patient with some of the changes and ideas that we presented along the way. The bouquet she created for me (the bride) complimented my gown beautifully and provided just the right accent for the venue we chose. The table arrangements included an unexpected flower choice that was the perfect touch. I was so thrilled when I walked in to the reception and saw them! It was a tiny detail, but it made me smile. Lisa did amazing work for a very reasonable cost. I would definitely hire her again and enthusiastically recommend her if you are looking for a florist in Frederick, MD area. -

stunning wedding flowers
We absolutely loved working with Lisa as our florist for the wedding. My mom and I met with her at a cafe nearby and we talked colors and flowers and I really felt she understood our vision. She also understood our flower budget and really worked with us to help us stay on track, while still providing excellent service and beautiful flowers. She provided our bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, cake flowers and some table arrangements. She was very easy to work with and responded promptly to all emails and phone calls. She was also very flexible when we changed our order - we added the cake flowers about a month before the wedding and they turned out beautifully. We highly recommend Lisa for wedding flowers - we could not have asked for a better florist or more stunning flowers! They were so fresh! -

I went into her shop with barely an idea of what I wanted and she quickly showed me all of my options and guided me into forming the most perfect bouquets for my wedding. Not only is she extremely knowledgable, but she was very flexible when I decided (only a week or two before the wedding date) that I needed one wrist corsage instead of all pinned corsages. Her flowers were beautiful and the presentation was even better. My bouquet and all of my bridesmaids were wrapped in gorgeous lace and pinned with pearl topped flower pins. The ceremony and reception flowers were stunning. Everyone absolutely loved her presentation and how beautiful and colorful the flowers were! I would reccommend her to anyone who asked. -
User925804 Sent on 09/07/2012Lisa was so easy to work with and was able to guide us (people who know very little about flowers) to pick the best flower combination. She was also able to use some flowers from a family friend's farm, which was great. She dropped the boquets and boutineers off at the hotel and was able to drop off and set up the large flower vases at the church along with having the flowers at the reception. The yellow and red flowers looked great together and lasted a long time. The bridesmaid bouquets lasted for about a week after the wedding and the table center pieces lasted even longer than that. -
