  The Perfect Wedding

  My now-husband and I wanted a small wedding -approximately 50 people- in southern Oregon along the Applegate River. My uncle lives along the scenic river and we decided that this would be the perfect location alongside the personal, familial feel of being in a backyard/nature setting. Being from San Francisco, we had NO IDEA about vendors, pricing, planning a wedding, etc. That is where Heather and her company An Inspired Affair, were amazing! In fact, she was amazing at everything. From Day 1 when I initially reached out about hiring her to the conclusion of our wedding, Heather was on top of everything. Whether it was a small detail or larger vision, she knew her stuff, was comprehensive, and seemed five steps ahead. I highly recommend her wedding planning services. Her knowledge of the area and her relationships with each of the vendors was impressive, to say the least (e.g. the catering and food, local desserts, rentals, tech, flowers). Even when I spoke to the vendors directly, they had the highest compliments for Heather (and they stated so without any prompting). In addition, our wedding guests throughout the whole evening could not stop saying how beautiful and perfect the affair was (and they have been to a lot of weddings). The entire day was idyllic, ran seamlessly, and I never felt stressed about the minutia of the day. And that is in large part to Heather and her talents. To conclude, our friends are still telling us how fun and beautiful our wedding was! Enthusiastically recommend!

  Heather is a lovely person to work with. She is so passionate, hard working, and creative, but most of all she is a caring person. She made wedding planning so easy and stress free. She has excellent relationships with vendors in the area, and is so knowledgeable. If you have Heather, you seriously have the best!

  Heather worked with me far and above the contact I signed with her! Her responsiveness and ability just to chat when I was stressed added so much value to her services in general. The day of our wedding turned out to be one of the only freezing cold days of the whole summer, yet she still made everything beautiful!! I would highly recommend her.

  Heather is incredible! Before our wedding: We worked with Heather remotely (we live in the Bay Area and got married in Ashland). She is super responsive and it is a great help to have her help contact and coordinate with vendors who are less-responsive to electronic communication. She was able to tailor our wedding experience to fit our needs and tastes and made us sleep easier knowing that she was thinking of various little tasks that needed to get done. During our event: Heather was a great teammate.   Deciding to hire Heather from An Inspired Affair was one of the best decisions we made in regards to planning our wedding! My husband and I live in Portland, and we fell in love with a beautiful venue in southern Oregon. I am a very organized person, but planning a wedding from out of town is a huge undertaking, and we underestimated what went into it when we decided to get married out of town. Thankfully we had Heather to help us, because I dont know how this could have gotten done without her!
  
  From the first conversation I had with Heather, I was instantly impressed. She asked so many great questions, many of which I had not even thought of yet and she was very thorough in trying to understand our priorities for our wedding. She wanted to know our vision, and when we didnt know ourselves, she helped us create our vision by asking more questions about what we liked and wanted.
  
  Heather is also so well connected to all the vendors in southern Oregon, she had many amazing recommendations for me, and I was very impressed with the vendors she referred me to. There are not as many reviews for vendors in southern Oregon, so her recommendations to other venders were so crucial! Heather was an amazing support system and sounding board throughout the process. I loved having someone to give me opinions who was not biased and was just there to help me.
  
  Heather is responsive, thorough, detail oriented and creative. She did an amazing job helping us plan our wedding before the big day, and on the day, it meant so much to know I didn't have to worry about if the flowers would be right, or the table settings or the photo booth setup. I got to just enjoy my husband, my family, my friends and not worry about the details. That alone is priceless and we are so appreciative to Heather for everything she did for us for our day.
  
  Hiring a wedding planner is 100% worth every cent you spend, and Heather Goodwin was the best planner we could have asked for!

  Heather and Courtney did a fantastic job coordinating our wedding over the past 5 months. Not a single detail was overlooked...and best of all I didn't have to worry about any of it! My family and friends were overwhelmed with the quality of vendors recommended by Heather and how they all worked together seamlessly to create the wedding of our dreams!

Planning a long distance wedding (while I was also starting a new job) would have been impossible without Heather's help. She introduced us to all our vendors and lined people up for our date before we even knew we would need them.
  
  For example, when I was doing a makeup "run through" about 8 months before the wedding (we had to plan some appointments far in advance because we were rarely in town), my makeup artist told me she'd already had three requests for her services on my wedding date that she had to reject since Heather had asked her to reserve the date for us.
  
  Heather was incredibly accessible, and there were times (as the wedding date neared) that we would send emails to her after 10PM and hear back from her within 20 minutes! She was incredibly organized, and my wedding day was completely stress-free because I knew she was running a tight ship. She also had a beautiful vision for our day, and I was blown away when I saw it come to life.

  Heather and everyone that she asked to help her with my wedding did the most AMAZING job! She was so easy to work with and if you had the littlest of questions she would answer them for you. She could help with every detail down to the day of and she and her staff were nothing short of fantastic! Having a wedding coordinator is the most amazing idea you no longer have to work with every person involved in your wedding you can talk to a coordinator and she knows exactly what to do!
  Also everyone she recommended we use for various parts of the wedding were over the top amazing!
  Over all An Inspired Affair is definitly the number one group I recommend to anyone having a wedding. Ever. They are worth every penny and more and not only is your day amazing you actually have a relationship with the many people who helped you create it.

She responded to emails thoroughly, gave thoughtful recommendations and offered extra help when needed.   Heather from An Inspired Affair help make my baby shower truly unique and special. I was vary pregnant at the time of the shower and very overwhelmed with the details. Heather from An Inspired Affair came in and saved the day for my baby shower. I was completely stressed with the whole process and she agreed to help me when I asked her a week before the shower. The results exceeded my expectations she brought my vision to life with the personalized decorations, special messages she collected from guests, and the awesome food displays. I was able to just relax and enjoy the moment and I definitely won't be waiting till the last minute to employ her for our little guy's first year celebration. I can't wait to see what she can do with more time and look forward to enjoying the celebration stress free.

  Heather arranged a mock wedding at Belle Fiore Winery to promote their wedding venue and I was the photographer. The event was stunningly beautiful and well organized. All the vendors she had in place were professional, friendly, and very talented. I always look forward to working with Heather. She obviously loves what she does, and so will you.

She was genuinely invested in our event and went out of her way to help with things like brainstorming how to achieve a certain look with decorations, giving advice on interviewing venders, planning the layout for the wedding and reception, and problem solving. Heather's care for her clients is obvious from the integrity she puts into every part of her work. She returned emails and phone calls right away and took care to find out the things that were truly important to us. The day of the wedding my husband and I just got to enjoy ourselves knowing that Heather had our backs. She made sure everything was set up, we started on time, everyone was where they were supposed to be, all the venders were paid and everything was put away. If anything went wrong I never heard about it. On top of all of that she even wore a perfectly themed costume for our crazy 1920s circus wedding! I can't imagine my wedding without Heather's knowledge and support!!! We plan on hiring An Inspired Affair for our 10 year anniversary party!

She made sure everything was set up, we started on time, everyone was where they were supposed to be, all the venders were paid and everything was put away. If anything went wrong I never heard about it. On top of all of that she even wore a perfectly themed costume for our crazy 1920s circus wedding! I can't imagine my wedding without Heather's knowledge and support!!! We plan on hiring An Inspired Affair for our 10 year anniversary party!

  I was a part of my best friend's wedding in September of 2011 at the Eden Vale Winery, it was perfectly planned and coordinated by Heather and her team at An Inspired Affair. The venue was breathtaking, the decorations where one of a kind, service was smooth and speeches were perfectly coordinated, the special touches such as singing for our dinner where unique and fun, and the performances where one of a kind. I have never been to a wedding like that before or since and will definitely keep her in mind when I need help planning my wedding or if a friend needs someone to plan their wedding.
