Working with Micah was such an incredible part of our wedding day. We originally found her online and looked at her wonderful website where she had photostories from other couples. Based on that and her Instagram site, we were totally hooked by her photography style. Micah was helpful in sending out a questionnaire beforehand that moved along photos at a good pace and throughout the day, she made sure each moment was captured. Even though we only have the sneak peeks so far, I am OBSESSED with all the photos she took, her wonderful demeanor at our day, and how she made the whole day easy and non-stressful. I would highly recommend her for any type of photography. -

WOW!! I can't say enough good things about Micah and And Two Were Tamed. I used Micah for both our engagement shoot and elopement in Colorado. She is just the best. Not only were the pictures STUNNING and so unique, but she made me and my husband feel so comfortable and at ease. She helped us find some off the beaten path locations to take gorgeous outdoorsy photos and she also nailed the more traditional shots of the family and ceremony. She is a light and I am SO happy with how everything turned out. THANK YOU MICAH!!!! -

And Two Were Tamed provided a unique and personal experience for our wedding. From the beginning she was enthusiastic and expressed interest in understanding who we are. She not only asked questions pertinent to the event but to our lives. I cannot explain how this impacted the actual day-our friends and family loved her. When she took us aside for some pictures of us alone, she utilized the stories and experiences that we shared to create some incredible moments. I could rave all day about the wedding day but the photos she sent- wow!!! She is so talented and compassionate. We will recommend her to anyone and everyone we know. -

Micah is AMAZING!!! Best wedding photographer around!
Where do I even start?! Micah is just amazing!! Searching for a wedding photographer can be super stressful but once I found Micah I had so much peace knowing that my pictures were gonna be just perfect! She is SO sweet and easy to work with! She makes you feel comfortable and reminds you to breath and enjoy the moment for more than just outstanding pictures! I knew the pictures would be beautiful but you guys, the pictures were BETTER THAN BEAUTIFUL! They were STUNNING! I can’t even tell you how many compliments I have heard and continue to hear over a year later about our wedding photos. People are blown away by them! The way she captures the moment in the perfect lighting, color tones and angles is just wow. She is seriously gifted! My dream wedding was a mountain wedding surrounded by beauty and thankfully that’s exactly what we got. And Micah was there to help me remember that day for the rest of my life! The pictures she took captured our day so perfectly and whenever I look through them it honestly feels like I’m reliving my day all over again. On top of this, she is so flexible and understanding! Just about a couple weeks prior to the wedding we realized we had scheduled the day by one day off which I’m pretty sure was My fault! Micah, without even questioning it, switched her schedule around and was there for us! It literally could have been a nightmare but thankfully she was so understanding and made it work without any question or complaints! There are some people who just have what it takes to be an incredible photographer and Micah is by for one of those people. I promise you won’t go wrong by picking her to capture one of the most important days of your life! And she’s not only amazing at photos but she’s loving, thoughtful and so comforting and exactly the type of person you would want to be there with you for that big day! If I could do it all over again I would choose her time and time again! -

We absolutely adore Micah, both for her photography and who she is as a person. Both my husband and my mother are photographers, and they were immensely impressed by her attitude and ability to capture the range of emotions represented on our wedding day. In fact, my husband chose to fly Micah to Iowa from Colorado BECAUSE of her ability to capture emotion through photography. We know a lot of people in the wedding business, but there was never a question about who our photographer would be. -

Kamille Sent on 08/19/2018Booking with Micah, to capture the most intimate moments with you and your person, is like booking your best friend who "actually" has professional photography skills! Micah loves "love" and somehow she brings out and captures the best part of you. It takes a certain kind of skill, nay talent, to make folks feel so comfortable in front of the camera - with Micah it's like the camera doesn't even exist (which is perfect for the camera shy person like me). My now husband and I fell in love with our engagement photos, so we flew her out to Austin, TX, so she could capture the happiest day of our life! Our wedding day flew by so quickly and it's often hard to capture the best moments in a photo because you simply "had to be there" but with Micah, when you look at your pictures, it's like you were! I cannot say enough great things about Micah! She is professional, funny, and will basically be part of your family by the end of the day. If you are looking for someone to bring out the adventurous spirit in you, then Micah is who you need!

Jess Sent on 03/12/2018Micah was awesome to work with from the moment I considered hiring her. She worked within my budget, asked all the right questions ahead of time and got every picture I wanted. She even had a second shooter, which I highly recommend as they were able to get different angles of the same moment! (Huge for first looks and coming down the aisle)
My wedding was Gatsby themed and they both dressed the part! When I saw the photos, I was stunned at how gorgeous they were. Every moment captured just beautifully and Micah really paid attention to all the details I asked for. I would hire her without a second thought for any event in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for an artistic and talented photographer.
Micah was easy to get in touch with prior to and after the wedding, making sure I had everything I needed. I’m truly grateful for all her help and expertise. I felt so comfortable letting her do what she does and tried to trust that I didn’t need to direct her every move. It paid off big time, as I got the most amazing pictures I have ever seen for a wedding. Ever.

amazing team!
I found Micah through a Women Who Hike Colorado group because I really wanted a photographer that had experience with Bridal Veil Falls as we had never been there before ourselves. I was so very very grateful for the experience of her and her team - it was invaluable when planning our elopement as well as making the day of go extremely smoothly. Our photographers were Asher and Caleb and they went out of their way to make the day as perfect as possible. They scouted the trail ahead of time that day to verify exactly where the best shots were and reminded us several times to pause and take in the moment and enjoy our day! They also were so great helping us get amazing photos with our dogs that we will treasure forever. So far we've received our sneak peek photos and cannot wait to see the rest! -

Victoria Sent on 08/18/2018She was great at the wedding and very nice. Micah took a long time to get the photos back and there were 40 of them that were blurry and distorted which is a shame because I will never get those memories back. Every time I asked a question or had a concern I was told to refer to the contract. I would not recommend her for an important event.
And Two Were Tamed's reply:
Victoria received her wedding photos at the end of 5 weeks (Contract states photos will be edited and returned within 2-10 weeks depending on type of session). Weddings typically take 4-8 weeks to edit and Victoria received her photos within the time frame discussed. After reviewing her photos, Victoria requested a change to the evening dance photos that were captured with flash. Flash technique used is called light painting which allows for light drag while keeping the subject focused. And Two Were Tamed uses this technique to emphasize movement during dancing - especially with smaller weddings or quiet dance floors. This is an artistic preference and consistent with And Two Were Tamed's style. Each client is asked to fill out a questionnaire with any questions/preferences/expectations for photos prior to their wedding and no information was given by Victoria in consideration to flash/dance photos. When asked to clarify what she would like changed to these photos there was an obvious difference between the style the client preferred vs the style And Two Were Tamed photographs with while using flash. I referred Victoria to the Contract she signed which states "Client is familiar with photography style seen on website/advertising and accepts this style for their session." I have offered to re-edit the photos in an attempt to reduce the light drag and to also sort through the unedited photos to find extra shots with less light drag to edit in an attempt to resolve the issue. Victoria requested a partial refund stating the photos were ruined and posted a negative review while stating she would remove this if refunded.
