  Wedding of our dreams thanks to Sarah & team!

  It's difficult to put our appreciation for Sarah and the Anderson Event Design team into words! From our initial consult I knew that the team would care for and support us in the wedding planning process, while honoring our choices and priorities as a couple. Sarah felt like an old friend pretty immediately and helped us to navigate every vendor interaction, timeline and logistics, and even a last-minute ceremony location change. We were able to actually enjoy this season of life and our engagement because we weren't bogged down with the intricate details of wedding planning. She made every decision and step seamless and easy with her thoughtfulness and intention. My mom and I were so relaxed leading up to wedding day because we knew Sarah & team had everything handled! We were included in every design decision, but it was so incredible to fully trust that whatever we left to Sarah would turn out better than we could have imagined! Everyone talks about grooms being surprised by the wedding day design, but I was surprised and blown away as the bride too because I trusted Sarah so much with final details! I'm so thankful to have these girls in my life now, and feel lucky to be a local Charleston bride so that I can continue our relationships! For the most beautiful, thoughtful and seamless wedding design and planning process, we strongly recommend working with AED!

As we reflect on all the decisions that were made for our wedding, choosing Anderson Event Design was undoubtedly the most pivotal one, and we couldn’t be more delighted with the outcome. From the very first interaction, we knew they were the one for us. AED wasn’t just planners; they were friends.
  
  We had the pleasure of working primarily with Kayla, who truly exceeded all expectations. She is an absolute GEM! It was evident that she invested her heart and soul into understanding our vision and making it a reality. Kayla's remarkable talent for design and her unwavering attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our dream wedding was brought to life seamlessly. She is not only kind, knowledgeable, and patient but a true visionary who made our day as perfect as possible. She was always in our corner throughout the entire process and exuded the most positive energy at all times.

  I have worked with the AED both professionally and now personally, most recently while planning my own wedding that took place on 04/23/22 here in Charleston. I've had a unique perspective into their operations and relations as I myself am a vendor in the Charleston wedding industry, which is really how my relationship with them began.
  
  My initial professional relationship with Sarah, Sam, and Kate really made a big impression on me and set the standard high not only for those with whom I choose to work as a vendor, but also how I operate as a business owner myself. I saw from "behind the scenes" how organized, efficient, professional, and kind they all genuinely are. Based on my experiences with them as a vendor, I knew that when I got engaged, there was no other team I'd rather work with than AED.
  
  Throughout our entire 16 month engagement, our experience with AED (specifically Sarah Rickman) was exceptional. Sarah and the rest of AED were always responsive, patient, understanding, and extremely efficient. They have great relationships with both vendors and venues in town and have a lot of insight and experience to provide in terms of recommendations. Additionally, their classic and timeless style is so beautiful and perfect for any Charleston wedding. They all go out of their way to make every detail perfect for their brides and their families. We unfortunately had an incident in which an out-of-state invitation company sent us an incorrect order. However, Sarah and Sam really stepped up to help us fix the problem and find an alternative very quickly-- I now couldn't be happier with their recommendation and absolutely love how the invitations turned out. The invitations are one of my favorite memories of the planning process!
  
  All this to say, I recommend Anderson Event Design to any couple without reservation. It is so obvious that they truly love their work and if I were to do the whole process over, I'd choose Sarah and AED every time!

  Sarah and the team at Anderson Event Design are truly talented and incredible people. We were an out-of-state couple so having the right planner to work with for our big day was a high priority for us. The team checked every box for us - highly professional, well connected in the industry, a creative eye, organized, and a caring personality. Sarah coordinated the absolute best vendor team we could ask for and brought our wedding vision to life with her expert design ideas. If we faced any challenges, which are inevitable for planning any wedding, she would either quietly handle on our behalf behind the scenes or come to us with a few solutions already in mind to discuss. We trusted her wholeheartedly during the entire planning process. On the day-of, Sarah & team were on site from early morning to late at night making sure everything was handled so that we could focus on enjoying our day. We even had a last-minute chance of rain that required reworking some of the layout, and Sarah handled it effortlessly. We’ve had so many guests comment on how beautiful and fun our wedding was, which means the world to us since guest experience was important to us. We sincerely could not have pulled together the wedding of our dreams without Anderson Event Design.   The Most Amazing Event Design Team

  There are really not words to describe the LOVE we have for Samantha and her team. Having an out of state wedding could be stressful but not at all with Anderson Event Design. Samantha is the most professional, kind, and creative individual. Any time we had a question, she and her team were there with an answer. Their design ideas absolutely made our wedding the dream it was! Anderson Event Design truly makes you feel like you are family and their passion for weddings and making their couples happy shines through in every detail. Our wedding was absolutely seamless and better than we could have ever hoped for. Every guest was so impressed with Samantha and her team and we are so lucky to have had them be a part of our big day. Our wedding would not have been what it was without them!

  These girls were a Godsend! The Anderson Event Design team went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. It was seriously a dream come true thanks to these amazing ladies. While planning a wedding can be overwhelming, the Anderson Event Design team made the whole process fun and enjoyable. With their knowledge, skills, and impeccable taste, they helped turn our vision into a stunning reality.

  Best Wedding Planner in Charleston!

  Sarah and Samantha are the best!! Sarah was our lead planner for our wedding and she was amazing. She was always prompt at responding and had answers for every question! We got engaged January 2020 and our wedding date was in May of 2021. So throughout the engagement they were always encouraging and ensured we could get through any curve balls - and we did! I have a "planning/organizing" personality, but it was such a blessing to have Sarah as my wedding planner so I could truly enjoy my engagement and wedding day! Everything ended up being perfect. Every decoration, placement, flower, table, centerpiece, and layout was better than my expectations. They really took my vision and brought it to life. They were prompt to every meeting, the rehearsal, and the wedding day. They had the best suggestions when I was stumped on what vendor to get. Samantha Anderson Event & Design is the best wedding planner company in Charleston hands down!

  Best decision we ever made

  Where do I even begin. Samantha Anderson events is hands down the best decision we ever made for our wedding. This has been a very busy year for us, and I was especially concerned because I knew I would be studying for the bar while knees deep in wedding planning. I was NOT EVEN STRESSED about the wedding, because Sarah was completely amazing and took care of everything. She is always so prepared, and is such a joy to work with.
  
  And to top it all off, Samantha and Sarah have been lifesavers with the covid crisis. We are truly so lucky to have them help with our special day, because not only have they been such a big help with planning, but it’s so nice to have planners that we can also call our friends. Samantha and Sarah are the sweetest and want to make your day everything you want and more!
  
  If I give any bride any advice, it would be to hire Samantha, Sarah and their team. You will not regret this decision.

  Hands down best Wedding Planner in Charleston!

  If there was such thing as 10 stars I would without question, give Samantha this rating. If you are looking for an amazing wedding planner in Charleston look no further. I interviewed many planners for my wedding and the minute I talked to Samantha on the phone I immediately knew she was the one. Her "think outside the box mentality" is one of my favorite qualities about her. You can put her up to any challenge and she will exceed your expectations. Her creativity is beyond! I sent her so many pins from Pinterest and ideas of my vision and she literally made my dream wedding come true. She also sticks to your budget which is so important to keep in mind. She makes DYI look straight out of a wedding magazine. My favorite thing she came up with was for our escort card display which was an oversized map of Charleston with famous landmarks! She really takes the time to get to know her clients and that was also key for me as Charleston was a destination wedding for me. I was able to trust any decision or recommendation she made with full confidence. I have to say I miss talking to her everyday! Please don't walk, RUN and hire Samantha, you won't regret it!!

  Wonderful and Talented Samantha Anderson!

  I cannot thank Samantha Anderson enough for partnering with my daughter and me to plan Larkin’s wedding day. I can see how really big this job is....especially on the wedding day. Samantha was amazing throughout the planning process. She helped us with the wedding at the French Huguenot Church as well as the reception at the beautiful Lowndes Grove Plantation. The venues were so special and timeless. Everything was done beautifully!!
  Cheers to Samantha for making the wedding day a fabulous one! She is absolutely the best!!

  I cannot thank Samantha Anderson enough for partnering with my daughter and me to plan Larkin’s wedding day. I can see how really big this job is....especially on the wedding day. Samantha was amazing throughout the planning process. She helped us with the wedding at the French Huguenot Church as well as the reception at the beautiful Lowndes Grove Plantation. The venues were so special and timeless. Everything was done beautifully!!

  Working with Samantha Anderson Events was the best decision we could have ever made! Samantha, Sarah, and the rest of the SAE team were truly there every step of the way. The planning process was well organized, well executed, and left me feeling confident and excited about our big day. We had an unusual obstacle and had our wedding postponed due to Hurricane Dorian. Not only were Samantha and Sarah sympathetic; they were professional, hard working, and somehow worked with all of our vendors to reschedule an incredible day for us in November! I still don’t know how they pulled it off, and it was better than we could have imagined! Every detail was carefully executed and so perfect. We LOVE Samantha and Sarah and so happy we were able to work with them!!!

  Whenever I envisioned my wedding, I dreamed of a bright and airy lowcountry fairy tale and that is exactly what Samantha Anderson Events built for me! I could not be more grateful for the outstanding work that she and her team did to make my wedding dreams come true! She took my vision and my budget and made it a reality!
  
  Working with Samantha was such a joy! She is so sweet and patient and is somehow able to solve any problem at hand! Having her by my side throughout the entire wedding planning process was such a blessing! She guided me through the whole process and was so incredibly knowledgeable and organized! She introduced me to the most wonderful vendors, and everything just seemed to easily fall into place! When the big day finally came, I was confident that Samantha had everything under control and didn’t have a care in the world!   Flawless Wedding Planning (Hire Her!)

However, living in Seattle posed significant challenges with planning. Samantha was the right person to get the job done. She helped us select a venue – sight unseen- and gave us the ins and outs to make us comfortable in making that decision. She was there for every step, giving me options based on the design inspiration that we put together, but no too many options to make it overwhelming (although I imagine she could give you a million choices if you asked, I was just not that picky!).   I cannot say enough good things about Samantha and her team!! I did the full planning service and I’m so glad I did because it allowed me to actually enjoy being engaged! I have been planning my wedding since I can remember, so I wanted to be really involved in the planning. I was definitely able to! SAE involved me every step of the way. Day of was executed flawlessly and my husband and I enjoyed every second of our big day and didn’t worry about a THING. I felt so calm and relaxed in the morning because I knew Samantha and her team would handle everything.   Whenever I got engaged, I knew exactly where I wanted to be married: Charleston, South Carolina. I currently reside in Los Angeles but am from the south so a wedding planner was a MUST (and my venue also required I have one.) Samantha had been my sister's planner so I had gotten to meet her a few years prior but I still took my time to interview several different wedding planners in Charleston. Out of everyone I talked to, she was the only one who really took the time to ask me what my vision was, how I was feeling, etc. She even had me explain how I had gotten engaged which I thought was so sweet, especially since I couldn't tell that story enough at this time in my life.   Samantha was such a joy to work with. Her ability to adapt to her clients was my favorite part of working with her! I’m guessing I’m not her typical bride (I *gasp* didn’t have a theme) and I really just wanted to get married. The overly personalized details just aren’t me... but in our walk thru Sam had a list of “details” and she went thru each of them and was ready to execute it as personalized as I wanted or as practical as I wanted! For example, one of the things she asked me was if I had cake cutting utensils I wanted to use... something I would literally have never thought of until I went to cut the cake! Of course my answer was something like “we can just use our hands?” but being who she is, she brought some beautiful utensils that made our cake cutting picture perfect! On the personalized side, Sam executed each detail of the layout and timeline I wanted with 100% accuracy. For example, I had glow sticks but I didn’t want them to appear until we were done with all the formalities (first dances, toasts, cake cutting) and in the moment I had completely forgotten about them... but sure enough the DJ cranked it up (as planned) and magically my guests all had glow sticks! I also really appreciate her help in finding the right vendors. She has vendors of every price point and style out there, and it was so reassuring with each intro call to say “I’m working with Samantha Anderson” and to get to hear them all gush about how great she was to work with! I also went rouge and found a few of my own vendors, which she also happily worked with! The choice of her preferred vendors vs all the others out there was 100% up to me and I appreciated she didn’t limit us. We did the month of package and the online tools worked seamlessly for me to get her my vendor contracts and contact info. Once she took over 30 days out, I would keep thinking of things I thought I still had to do and sure enough she had already taken care of it!! For example, I made my chair order for my ful
