    What a night!

My husband and I were very happy with Andre's. We got married at the new Oak Valley location, which is beautiful and we had our reception at Sunset Hills Golf Course. The food was delicious, our host Penny was very helpful, and Aimee was easy to work with. We would recommend them to anyone.

This is truly a one stop venue, they have everything you could possibly need! Very professional in appearance and they treat everyone with such respect. As a young couple my finace and I were ignored and weren't taken seriously when visiting a number of other venues. Here we were treated like a valued customer. Even though the venue was a little far for us we still made it our final choice.

    Beautiful, yet pushy

Overall this place (West location) was extremely beautiful and the man I met with to set up everything was very nice and understanding of what I wanted. But the woman coordinating everything at the actual reception was rushing me around to move from one thing to the next the whole night so much that I felt like I barely got to truly enjoy the celebration with my friends and family and husband. Plus I hardly even know what the food tastes like, as I didn't get to eat. I was only two bites in when the coordinator told me we need to cut the cake and then go right into dancing. So in order to do that smoothly I had to bustle my dress, (which was a process) so I got up and did that really quickly expecting to come back to finish my food before we actually had to do those events, only to find my plate gone. I figured I would just get another plate after we cut the cake and did the first dance, but instead after the dance was over all the food was put away. So I was pretty hungry and stressed from being rushed around on my own wedding receptio not even getting to taste the food that my parents spent so much money on and we spent so much time picking out.... Also my husband and I had planned to go around to each table to greet the guests, hug them, and thank for coming, but as you can guess, there was no time for that...

Although the staff was pushy, I still love the way this reception hall looks.

The food was very good. But that is about it. They don't seem to tell you all the costs up front. only when you go to do the final arrangements. Like it cost $30 to have the cake cut. Then they didn't even want to cut the cake, They thought we had enough cupcakes. I had to tell them we wanted to cake cut. Then they didn't cut enough cake and our guests ended up cutting their own cake. They didn't leave any extra plates for the cake only napkins. The bartender was terrible. She had to be told how to make certain drinks. They were taking plates away as soon as our guests were finished with their final bite of food. I would not recommend Andres at all.

Although the food was good, Andre's was an absolute nightmare to work with. When I met them at a bridal show, they told me that they do off-site catering which we needed. When we met with them to sign a contract, they told us about several fees that were never explained to me prior to our meeting, nor were they mentioned anywhere on their website. We signed the contract and thought everything was squared away until they called me a week before my wedding. They were "unaware" (even though it was written in our contract) that we were using our own dishes, so they needed to charge us an extra fee for that. They also tried to charge us an extra fee for having the bussers (that we already paid for) bus and scrape the plates. They told us that if we were to use their plasticware, the bussers would just take them to the trash so it is extra work, thus extra charge, for them to work with real china. Being a stressed out bride a week before my wedding, I cried on the phone and eventually ended up yelling at their manager. I had my, then fiance, contact them and work things out. Luckily we were already bound by our contract for the prices so they were not able to charge us those extra fees but if we were not careful, they would have scammed us into paying more money.

On the day of the wedding, the staff was rude to the owner of my reception venue. I did not know any of this was going on (thank goodness) but there was, once again, confusion about how things were being set up at the reception. When it came time to eat dessert, we had even more issues. My husband and I had only 2 layers of a cake for them to cut and then a few pies that needed to be cut an served. We paid Andre's a $50 cutting fee and they refused to cut our pie. It was obvious that the cake was not the only dessert since it was only 2 layers so I have no clue why they were so dramatic about cutting a few pies. The owner of my reception venue ended up cutting the pie for us. I would not recommend them at all.
