Cyndi and her team were a breeze to work with. I hired Angels With and Edge for a wedding pre-party (my Indian-fusion wedding was basically five straight nights of partying). I requested a retro vibe, which she pulled together perfectly, and when folks wanted to get a little groovier as the night progressed, they were able to keep up the pace perfectly. Cyndi and her partner were super friendly and attentive. They even played very specific requests for my partner's family, who really wanted Punjabi Indian Bhangra music! I was so surprised and impressed, and we talked at the end of the night that they had a fun time learning about a new style of music and dance. Angels with an Edge was super affordable, and honestly blew me away with what we got for the money. Thanks so much Cyndi! Cyndi was an amazing DJ. She catered to my every need, even accomodating last minute changes. All my guest said it was the best dance party they've ever been too and the mix of Nigerian, Italian and American guests all got a chance to break it down on the dance floor. I would highly recommend her. 😁 -

We are looking forward to a friend's wedding in October because they are doing that event as well. Professional and very affordable! I want to plan another party just to work with them! -

Cyndi was with us every step of the way -- she came out to the suburbs for a face-to-face meeting with my fiance and I, sent us monthly check-in e-mails, and quickly responded to all of our e-mails and questions. At the wedding, her and her partner DJ were super responsive to scheduling changes and song requests from both us and our guests. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to dancing, the music turned out just how we wanted. A ton of guests complimented our music and our DJs. On top of everything, the price was super reasonable! I would recommend Cyndi and Angels with an Edge to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or another event. -

I really liked Cyndi (owner) because she wasn't overly pushy like several of the other DJs I talked with, I didn't feel like I had to decide immediately with her, I had time to research and ask questions. Cyndi was very helpful when picking songs and making sure the timeline worked out well and flowed correctly. It was awesome when Cyndi helped some guest with the Macarena dance, everyone enjoyed dancing. I received compliments from guest about the music played.Angels With An Edge Entertainment's reply:

We appreciated having a meeting with Cyndi prior to the wedding. The reception itself overall was pretty good. Some of the announcement could have used a bit more energy but people did dance and that's what we wanted -

Ashley Sent on 05/05/2016I would highly recommend Angels With An Edge Entertainment to anyone who is looking for responsive, professional, and affordable DJ services. I was nervous hiring Cyndi having never met her, nor knowing anyone who has used her, since I think music can really make or break a wedding reception. From the get go Cyndi was really responsive - constantly checking in with me in the months leading up to the wedding. I had a call with her a week before to review timelines and wants, and she had clearly read all my documents, and was really on top of the event already. The online tool is perhaps not the most technical/up to date, but it works and is a great way to organize the music you want to hear. I was very specific in my music selections for dinner, cocktails, and dancing, and as far as I could tell it was all played at the appropriate times. I really wanted a low key DJ, and Cyndi took this into account. All announcements I asked for were properly full of pep and excitement, but were not cheesy. And, as the night went on I asked for a couple of things to happen, and they all were taken care of promptly (certain songs to be played, etc). Highly recommend! -

Jeannette Sent on 09/22/2017Excellent price for a DJ in the Chicagoland area, I couldn't believe it. It was 1/2 the cost of any other company I looked for. I was on a tight budget so was so happy to find AWAE. Also got some basic lighting with that so that was a happy surprise. My only complaint was that I didn't get much contact prior to my event, but I also did not have the DJ that everyone raves about in reviews (the owner, Cyndi). I did email with her a few times and she was quick to respond when I had not yet heard from my DJ a couple weeks before the wedding. I didn't have a big detailed wedding so It wasn't that big of a deal that I didn't get a meet beforehand. Of course no day goes without a few hiccups, one was that our first dance song was played again later in the night. Other than that (which is not at all big deals) everything was great. David was our DJ and was very nice, not pushy. The online tool was nice for requests, do not plays etc. Would definitely recommend their services.Angels With An Edge Entertainment's reply:
