  Tiffany and Keith Muncy are the current caretakers here, and they are incredibly flexible, responsive, and understanding. We communicated constantly with them for our wedding here, and they were very accommodating.
  
  Anvil itself as a venue is absolutely amazing and breathtaking. Every guest asked us "How did you find this venue?" because the views were so incredible. To be honest - we used google and found Anvil because we knew we wanted an intimate residential/house-type of setting for our wedding, and Anvil fit the bill in every way.   The one tiny negative is that the drive to the venue can be difficult for some because it is an hour from the nearest town (Healdsburg) with zero cell phone reception (and fairly limited wifi even on site), so if that's important to you, this place may not be for you. However, we actually appreciated this because it forced our guests to be social and interactive instead of on their phones on social media the entire time. In addition, Anvil's isolation means zero noise restrictions, which is rare in a wedding venue!
  
  Highly recommended for a wedding or even a getaway reunion / vacation with a large group of friends. The house is well equipped with an industrial stove and plenty of fridge / freezer space for all your food / drink needs. The large hot tub on the deck is amazing at night, and the private lake makes for the perfect daytime outing during your stay.

  As a wedding planner finding a venue that has it all is rare. Anvil is a gorgeous setting. Their onsite management team makes everything so wonderful.

  When a parent hears from their daughter and her husband it was the best day of their lives ......
  what can one say.
  Sam and Shannon were such a pleasure to work with. If I had a question or a request it was accomplished in a very timely manner with a smile on their faces.
  We had guests who have attended very elegant weddings and their comments were the setting is so beautiful and natural. This venue is for a couple who is looking for a unique experience for them and their guests.

  A truly amazing experience! We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed every moment of our time at Anvil Ranch. Sam and Shannon went above and beyond every step of the way and are such an incredible asset to this place. From the beginning they were very prompt in returning emails and phone calls and also very accommodating any time we came to visit before the wedding. We rented all three houses for three days for our wedding. The property was spotless and well kept and every guest was blown away by the beauty of the land and the charm of the houses. From the first night we arrived Sam and Shannon were there checking in and helping with everything. Our first night we booked the wood fire pizza service that they offer and the food was delicious and a great experience. We also enjoyed a day at the lake which was crystal clear and so relaxing. The day of the wedding went perfect. Sam and Shannon worked with our planner and coordinated all the parking and vendor deliveries. Our wedding planner was so impressed by them! All in all a perfect and unforgettable experience that was made possible by the kind, professional and outstanding service of Sam and Shannon. We love this place!!!!

They are both such gems, kind thoughtful, hard-working, dedicated, fun folks, and so fully there to support the event and all those involved. I have zero critiques or complaints, only praises and profuse thank yous. We are so lucky to know them, and to have found Anvil. The property really is a spring of beauty and nature while still completely accommodating all event-related needs. Our guests were comfortable and relaxed, freed up to enjoy their time there and focus on the wedding. It was perfect (even in it's imperfections) and we couldn't have dreamed up a more extraordinary experience than what Anvil, Sam and Shannon helped us to create. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
