Appel Farm was the venue of our dreams. My husband and I were looking for a place to celebrate our marriage with friends and family for a whole weekend. We had imagined people sleeping on-site, fields to run around and play games in, music and dancing, and a place to have a nice meal. Appel Farm had it all! We couldn't have asked for a better venue at such a great price. We were able to bring in our own vendors and make the space our own. If you are looking for a space to make your vision happen, Appel Farms might be perfect for you.

More details about our event: Our friends and family were able to stay in cabins Friday-Sunday (with bathrooms and air conditioning) which was a highlight of many of our friends' weekends. We had a kitchen to cook and serve meals, which also served as "party headquarters" for people to hang out in during the weekend. Me and my husband also slept in the bedrooms off the kitchen which gave us private space to sleep and a separate bathroom to get ready in. We were able to use the fields and sports courts; we had games of tennis, volleyball, and dodgeball, as well as three-legged races and other competitive relay races. Everyone had bathrooms to get cleaned up in and we had our beautiful wedding ceremony, dinner and party under the pavilion. There was hook-ups for our live band and our caterer was able to set up in the little room off the pavilion. After the party we had a bonfire which we spent many hours around, listening to music and making smores. We were able to use the room off the pavilion all weekend to hold drinks in the fridge and set up breakfast buffets and snacks each day. Having our party here was a fair amount of work as a DIY event. We brought in all our own vendors for food, alcohol, tables/chairs, and music. We put up and took down our own decorations. We asked all our friends and family to chip in. I'm sure you can hire help for all that, we just decided to do everything ourselves. Appel Farm is a great canvas for your vision. Everyone had a fantastic time! The ground is fairly flat there, so I think it is ADA accessible, but there is a short walk across some of the grounds from the pavilion to the bathroom.

Every detail was nothing short of perfect. We were on site from Friday afternoon until Sunday and every day was more wonderful than the one before. Every questions was answered and all nerves were calmed by the incredible team.

This is a unique campus with countless spots for photo opportunities. From murals to sculpture and nature trails you will have no issue finding an area that is your style.

Fell in love this venue from the very beginning! We had the freedom to really create our ideal wedding. The unique, colorful, buildings around the camp tied in beautifully with our wedding theme. Wesley Bogan was our go to guy for everything and he was absolutely wonderful! It was like having a friend helping out the whole time. The communication was a big part of bringing everything together. Wesley took the time to answer question, after question, after question. Any issues that arose, he helped solve them quickly. Our friends and family still talk about how great the venue was and how much fun they had. I'd recommend this place to anyone and for almost any gathering, big or small. I can not say enough good things about Appel and the conference director, Wesley. Both were extremely accommodating and helpful as we planned and executed our wedding plan. We were looking for a place to host a 'family BBQ' style wedding with lawn games, dancing and plenty of outdoor spaces. Appel delivered. We were able to hire the caterer of our choice (or cook ourselves!), do the decorating ourselves and make use of their tables and chairs (big rental savings), and even end the night with a bonfire! Not only were they great to work with and accomodating, but compared to many of the other venues we looked at, they were quite affordable.
