Hiring a photographer for our wedding was a daunting task for me because I absolutely hate having my photo taken and I get rather impatient when taking lots of photos, which was something I knew I wouldn't be able to avoid on my wedding day. After meeting April for the first time I felt such a sense of relief because I knew we chose the perfect photographer- she's patient, kind, and easy going. My fiance (now husband) and I don't take many photos, so we're extremely awkward and have no idea how to pose, what to do with our hands, where to look, etc., but April was up for this challange and was amazing at guiding/directing us. Along with being painfully awkward, it was also difficult for me to articulate what I was wanting photo-wise. April worked with me to hone in on the style of photos I was wanting, what locations we wanted, what poses to do, and the perfect balance of posed versus candid shots. On our wedding day she was incredible- she kept us (mainly me) on time, was extremely communicative, was patient with our families and wedding party, and made it all fun! Something I was dreading turned into a fun, quick, and memorable part of our wedding day! And when I say she was quick, she was QUICK. We were able to take couple photos, wedding party photos, immediate family photos, and extended family photos and were still able to attend the last 30 minutes of our cocktail hour. The photos turned out absolutely stunning. I have never loved this many pictures of myself, ever. April provided a sneak peak of our photos nearly 24 hours after our wedding ended, and she provided so many more photos than I expected. I highly recommend April and can't thank her enough for making our day so special and capturing so many special moments! -

The best wedding photographer ever!!
April did the most amazing job with our wedding photos. We are so happy we picked her to capture the moments on our special day. She was a joy to work with, making me and my husband comfortable in front of the camera. I’ve heard from multiple family members that ours are the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. I will cherish the photos forever. Seriously, pick April Mae as your photographer! -

If you're looking for an experienced, fun, and dedicated photographer then look no further and hire April as your wedding photographer!! She captured our big day on 8/20/22 PERFECTLY, and made taking pictures of a large wedding party so easy and fun! April was at every big moment to make sure pictures were being taken, and she was even able to capture some really fun moments on the dance floor that I'm so glad I have photos to be able to look back on and remember. Not only were our photos STUNNING, but she got the majority of them back to us in less than a week!! I really cannot recommend April enough!! -

April was INCREDIBLE for our wedding. She did our engagement shoot and our wedding and was so organized and knowledgeable. She knew all the tips and exactly what to look out for to make the best photos. She and her assistant were in all the right places and caught all the moments I wanted to be captured. Her photos look amazing and she delivered them the DAY AFTER my wedding!!!! You can’t ask for anything more. Thank you April, I am so grateful! -

It's important to find a photographer that matches your desired aesthetic and jives with your personality. I'm so glad April was a part of our wedding day! She helped us manage our time so that we weren't taking group photos for too long and she was great at directing us for more natural shots. And after seeing our wedding photos, I can also say that we LOVE these photos and her talents shine through in catching all the special, candid moments. April asked us to take a bit of time away from the party for some natural shots and they are some of my favorite shots. If you're looking for a professional, talented, and fun photographer, April is my highly recommended choice! -

If you have come across this page STOP LOOKING. You have found your girl. I cannot say enough great things about April. She is gracious and kind and genuine and lighthearted. She kept my groom at ease and made sure I felt like a million bucks. She ran the day effortlessly and is on your team 100%. Whatever sorcery she does to use the light in her photographs was the very reason we picked her and just WOW. The teaser she gave us has already exceeded our every expectation. Her work is amazing and real & I feel like I know every bride's story as I watch the day unfold in her blogs. Her way with words will make the hardest of hearts soft and her way with the camera is even more impressive. I cannot say enough about April. If you don't book her, you lost out. -
