    Feel like a guest at your wedding

    Hiring AR Weddings N Events was the best decision we made for coordinating our Wedding Day. We communicated mostly with Owner Anna Marie. She was responsive and reassured us of her team’s commitment to carry out our vision and help us feel like a guest at our own wedding.

    By the venue walkthrough, we met with both Anna Marie and Stacie. It was there we met Stacie who would be managing our wedding on the day of.

    From rehearsal to the day of the wedding Stacie took care of us! She was professional, attentive, and checked in on us often. We had A LOT of decorations to set up but Stacie with the help of Kristine, another AR wedding manager, executed our vision beautifully. Stacie ran our day smoothly and played a huge role in making it an unforgettable night.     Professional and so sweet!

    Anna Marie was very professional and understanding of my lack of knowledge in wedding planning. She gave me space to be creative while keeping things organized and making sense. Anna Marie is extremely sweet and easy to talk to- we were so grateful.
    She kept lots of lose ends organized and there is no way we would of had as much fun at our wedding without her!

    Best wedding investment by far!!

    Best investment by far!! If you are planning a wedding, you NEED ARWEDDINGSNEVENTS! AnnaMarie will get the job done. We hired her as our wedding planner and it was the best money paid out over any other wedding expense. She has been with us since pre-covid and has stayed on through all date changes and COVID related delays. She never left us through it all. All I had to do was share my vision and she went to work. She found all the necessary vendors but was very receptive in allowing me to be hands on as well. I am a type A person who needs to feel in control and on top of it and she was a wonderful compliment to me. She has become a part of our family at this point. AnnaMarie handled issues and was extremely proactive. Sometimes she handled issues without me ever even knowing an issue had come about. I found out after the wedding lol. But she took care of it! All I had to do most of the time was make a decision and cut the check. She took care of all logistics and negotiations and so much more. When I would get stressed she was there to listen and resolve. On my wedding day I had NOTHING to worry about or do except get myself ready. Even my family said how calm and unbothered I was. My family flew into town for the wedding and were prepared to run errands and get stuff set up and were so surprised that there was nothing needed from them because AnnaMarie had it all taken care of. My wedding was stunningly gorgeous yet all on a budget. She kept us on track with our budget and even had some vendors lower their cost to fit our budgets. She is everything you need and nothing more. If you want a stress free planning process hire this woman! We will definitely be using her for more events (hopefully a baby shower soon) 😄🤗

    SUPERB Day of Coordinator

    AnnaMarie was a pleasure to work with. From the first walk through to the rehearsal, to the day of -- she was absolutely amazing. She coordinated all of the vendors and the day of decor perfectly. Even with the possibility of rain, I wasn't anxious because I knew she had a backup plan ready to go. I'm so thankful for everything she did to make the day go so smoothly. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone who is looking for a fabulous, friendly, professional superstar day of coordinator!

    Great Experience, Highly Recommend

    My fiance and I knew we wanted a Day of Coordinator for peace of mind the day of the wedding and that is exactly what AR Wedding & Events (Anna to be specific) provided. What initially drew us in to Anna was her reasonable pricing. We were struggling to find a Day Of within our budget, but she worked with us. After our first phone call with her, we knew we made the right choice. We threw all our ideas at her and she was energetic about it all, making us excited to know our vision was possible.

    Fast-forward to our first on-site meeting at the ceremony location and it only further solidified the fact that we made the right choice with Day Of. We listened to her thought process and she asked all the right questions showing that she had plenty experience with weddings. She provided great suggestions to improve the logistics and also gave input on what to avoid. While we contracted with her for Day Of services, Anna was also accessible at various points during our planning and was willing to answer any questions we had.

    When it came to the week before the wedding, we were starting to stress about all the elements of the wedding and whether or not logistically it would work (mostly the setup of all our elements). We called Anna and talked through it and she assured us she and her team would make it work. And they did :)

    Overall, Anna and her team did such a great job for us and really helped us enjoy the day rather than stress about it. (All I had left to stress about was tripping down the aisle) She was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. We definitely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding (or event).

    She is amazing!

    Anna is like an angel, from the first phone call with her she had made things so much easier the stress was no longer there! She knew exactly what to do and say to help ensure everything was going to be perfect. We hired her for day of service but she made sure if we needed anything else before the big day that she'd be there to help us figure it out. I would highly recommend her for her services, and we will definitely use her in the future for other events!

    Best wedding decision

    Absolutely loved having Anna Marie as our wedding coordinator. Our wedding could have easily been a disaster if it wasn't for her. We had a small wedding at a house in Big Sur, we planned on having the reception and dinner outside. Due to windy weather that wasn't possible and Anna Marie made sure the set up was moved inside and still manage to make it look gorgeous. She went above and beyond and the attention to detail made a huge difference. I would say having her as part of the team was the best decision/investment for our happiest day.

    Made every detail fade away

    AnnaMarie was a fantastic day-of coordinator for our wedding! She went above and beyond reaching out to and wrangling together our vendors, even when we added more last minute. She was a superstar during the wedding in flipping our space and keeping the DJ and wedding party on track. She was super flexible in accomodating timeline changes immediately before and even during the event, even running out to buy a napkin and wine glass the day of without a second thought when we asked if it would be too late to add a glass crushing to our wedding. Every last-minute "It's probably too late but it would be cool if..." idea we had was met with a supporting and relieving "yes" and taken care of for us behind the scenes by AnnaMarie.

    She is the BEST

    Anna-Marie was the best thing that happened to me on my wedding day. She was incredibly organized and solution-orientated. She had everyone where they were supposed to be and in a timely manner.     Great Day of Coordinator!

    We were so lucky to hire Anna Marie! She was so easy to work with from the start, and she made sure the day ran smoothly. Our schedule stayed on track, she was very organized and connected with all other vendors early, and she helped make sure that everything was cleaned up and wrapped up at the end of the night. She was also very efficient at the wedding rehearsal and gave clear directions so that everyone knew where they were supposed to be. We definitely recommend her!

    Stress free!

    We were so glad we hired AR Weddings as a day of coordinator. Anna Marie went above and beyond the call of duty. She encouraged we reach out with any needs before the wedding day. She sent out emails to all of the vendors introducing herself, and walked through the venue with us in our early stages of planning. We had a rustic DIY wedding with lots of moving parts, and we felt very comfortable entering into the wedding day knowing we were in good hands. Her wedding experience and strong direction helped the rehearsal and wedding day flow smoothly. She brought two helpers that were invaluable. And she stayed till the bitter end, helping us clean up. A big thanks to AR Weddings for making our day so flawless and special.

    Life Saver

    Amazing Day of wedding Coordinator= Best day Ever

    This review is long overdue. I hired Anna Marie, AR Wedding N Events for my wedding on April 25th, 2019. Anna Marie was Amazing. From the first time we spoked on the phone and on our first one on one. I knew that she was the right planner for my wedding. I am in the event industry myself, so it was very important for me to find a planner with a similar Type A qualities as myself. AnnaMarie did not disappoint. She's meticulous, punctual, resourceful, helpful and beyond understanding. During rehearsal she was very patience, sweet and got all of us to participate with ease. She was very attentive to my parents who don't speak great English, and to our dog who was also in the wedding. AnnaMaire was amazing at ensuring that all my vendors where ready and on time for my wedding. She work endlessly to ensured that everything was perfect, and she did it all with grace and smiles. Everyone at my wedding loved her and I can honestly say that she is the reason why I was very relax during my wedding, because I knew all the details were in good hands. I would strongly recommend AR Wedding N Event.

    Awesome Day-Of Wedding Coordinator!!

    My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with Anna Marie. She is detail-oriented, calm, and proactive. There were so many hiccups that happened on our wedding day that she completely solved while still keeping everybody calm. She is firm but she is very friendly and personable and makes us feel at ease. Multiple guests and vendors told us how much they loved Anna Marie and how good they think she is, and they weren't even her clients!

    We would definitely work with her again for other events and we are actively recommending her to our friends and family.

    The Best Day of coordinator!

    Anna Marie was a great day of coordinator! She made our special day perfect, stress free and absolutely magical. She gave us great advice during the entire process and made sure we were comfortable, we encountered some bumps on the road and she was there to help us solve them.
    Her assistant did a great job streaming our wedding to my parents overseas and making sure we were hydrated and well fed.
    Overall we had an amazing experience with Anna Marie and would absolutely recommend her, she was on time, professional and a great person to work with.

    Where would we have been without you?

    I can not begin to thank AnnaMarie enough for how smooth she made our Wedding Day go. Honestly I can’t believe I ever thought we could have gone without a Wedding coordinator, and when we finally decided to look into hiring one, we knew AnnaMarie was the one! We met early on in the planning process and she immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that we had made the right decision. My Husband and I were married on 9.22.18 and to this day my Mom still can’t stop talking about thankful she is for AnnaMarie and how wonderful she was throughout the entire process.     Stress Free and Perfectly Orchestrated

    Where do I begin? AnnaMarie was AMAZING!! My husband and I hired her to be our day of wedding coordinator. Her attention to detail is above and beyond. She really takes the time to personally understand her clients vision. She even went out of her way to help me find a vendor to add string lights to our venue (which was an absolute must have item for me). She took my decorations and made them look even better than I could have imagined. She was super organized and I never worried about a single thing the whole day or night. I highly recommend her! I can't express enough gratitude towards Anna Marie & her team for all they did on our special day.

    Wedding planner

    We loved Anna Marie form the very first phone call. She helped us navigate our vision with our parents and always made us feel heard. Her excitement and enthusiasm for our special day was so real and raw!!! We absolutely love her and have had several friends ask for her contact since our special day!

    Not as expected

    First off, there was supposed to be two of them for my wedding day. Ended up only being one that I had never met. She was pretty flustered as there was not a well thought out plan. Also was quite rude to my photographer and DJ. Not the experience I paid for.

    The wedding manager you had was very experienced. She was the same person that did your rehearsal so I am very confused with the statement that you never met her before. Did you forget who was running your rehearsal just the day before? We had such a hard time with communication. I went almost 6 months with no response to emails from you. You were contracted for only One person . I was there in the morning to help with set up and checking in. Your photographer left at a time that was a picture memory. We would like to wish you many years of happiness and health in your marriage.

    Day of Coordination

    Hired for day of coordination. Intake process was fast and prompt. She explained she was already working that day but she had staff that we use. She said that she would be a part of all the details leading up to the day of. Contacting vendors etc. I don’t feel like she was a part of that at all. Come to find out she only outsourced another planner. Thank goodness the person we got was amazing but I don’t attribute that at all to her. I wish she would have to sent me the recommendation to use another planning company the moment I contacted her. She was responsive until she got paid then just handed it out to someone else.

    Worst coordinator ever- stay away please

    I have a hard time writing this review since rehashing my bad experience on our wedding day just brings back sad memories and makes me emotional. As a bride, it was hard enough to plan an entire wedding and then have to make an ultimate decision to postpone it due to COVID. As many brides suffered the same fate, I hope this review saves other brides from a nightmare when I made the mistake of hiring Anna Marie and her assistant Tracy. Because we had to move our date, Anna Marie was unavailable to work the day of our wedding. Though she told us on the first day we met that we would have her and Tracy, we had to accept the fact that we are left with just Tracy when we moved our date. I am unsure how Anna Marie is as a coordinator since I didn’t have her the day of our wedding, but Tracy was an absolute bride nightmare. Tracy was beyond disorganized and rude not to me but to our guest (family and friends have told me how she yelled at them) and wedding party (Best man told me she yelled at him when they didn’t know how to put on the Boutonnieres, she didn’t offer to help so they ended up not wearing any).

    A month before our wedding, I made sure to give Anna Marie a list of things that I needed Tracy to do. They are quite simple: put down the metal aisle markers onto the ground, hang the faux flowers onto the aisle markers, put together the table with guest book and card box (she literally had to place two signs that says, “please sign our guest book”, place a box for cards, and the book. The linen on the table was placed by the décor people we hired), put the bar menu on top of the bar, placed the center piece flower arrangements on each table (20 total), and then ultimately her job- to coordinate.

    I am unsure why it was beyond difficult to have her do these minimal tasks. We hired Park Avenue Catering and Encore décor, the best in the area and highly recommended (positive reviews will be posted about them). They had a “captain” which organized everything that we discussed a week prior during our on-site meeting and the while Park Avenue rep was taking notes, Tracy made sure to jabber her way around the property to “juju it up” (as she would say it) and make it pretty. That should have been a warning when she didn’t take notes.

    The day of the wedding Tracy started off decent, and at one point when the bridal party was getting ready, I peeked outside to see how the décor is looking. Couple hiccups so I yelled over from the balcony (it was kind a far) to move one furniture next to the photobooth bus instead, moments later Tracy barged in asking if I had meant to do that. I said yes, per our conversation that’s where the furniture belongs. She went back and forth, and I said, just please move the chair. They can do it themselves, it’s not a complicated task. We paid the décor people $14k, they can easily manage that and were happy to do so.

    Then when I was ready to do my first look with my husband, I was frustrated to see a bunch of guests near us all over the garden area, an intimate moment I wanted to share privately with just him and our photographers. Turns out Tracy was bus fixing the seating chart for dinner on an easel, something that is not needed until hours when dinner commences. At this point I was getting impatient; guests were still waiting to be shuttled (we had two big shuttles that fit 42 people each) uphill on the venue and most saw us during our intimate “first look”. The shuttle drivers were not informed by Tracy to come back down the hill, something a coordinator should be doing instead of fixing a sign not needed for another few hours. This delayed our ceremony by almost 30 mins. Her excuse for letting guests hangout in the cocktail lounge is because of the heat and too bad we couldn’t have our intimate moment since she was busy with the seating chart. At that point I was getting really frustrated I almost cried, luckily my bridesmaids and amazing photographers stepped in to help with crowd control. The rest of the night was a blur since brides and grooms “have to stay on schedule” such as twilight photos, money dance (I’m Filipina), cake cutting and so on. Unsure where Tracy is again (I was told she was helping fix the cake, one thing she did help with appropriately), so my husband and I decided to say hi to each table as they eat their salads. At one point they all started getting their dinner. When we sat down, we waited for our dinner for quite a while, finally the best man asked one of the servers for our meal and when we got it, the food was cold, and we had a couple mins to shove food in our mouths before it was time do to do twilight photos. We paid $30k for our catering for us to have a few bites, no joke maybe 3-4 bites each. The DJ (Entourage Events SF, best DJ and highly recommended) also helped with coordination and his wife who was helping with the wedding was the one who catered to our needs. She made sure we had drinks and had salad first. The photographers are the ones who also set up our sweetheart table, not sure why our coordinator didn’t help with this.

    The end of the night was even worse, my maid of honor and I, along with some bridesmaids cleaned our suites, packed up what is left, cleaned the bathroom and whatever toiletries we have in each restroom for guests and hopped in our shuttle. Shuttle where the left alcohol was placed, and not the left-over food. This instruction was specifically mentioned in the email and in-person meetings to Tracy and Anna Marie since we took the shuttle back to our villa. She on the other hand put the food in my husband’s car, the car was left overnight at the venue. Food was thrown away the next day. Since we had a pool party the next day, we ended up buying more food for the guests. Wedding book is missing as well, notes and comments from our guests that will never be retrieved. When I shared this unfortunate work that Tracy did to Anna Marie, at first she showed concern and empathy but then did her “investigation”. She concluded that Tracy worked extra and that should have gotten paid more for her work. In my opinion we should not only get reimbursed for her poor coordinating job, also reimburse us for the $850 that we tipped extra to our photographers and DJ. The ones who stepped in to do Tracy’s job. Not to mention the wasted food and missing guest book, it was not a cheap guest book either. Something we wanted to keep and read, and we didn’t get the chance to do so. For the sake of your sanity and not having your day ruined, please stay away from AR weddings and events. Pay the extra few hundred dollars and hire someone else. I am also more than happy to show how poorly Anna Marie handled this situation; I can forward our email chain.
