My fiancé went to Arthur to create the perfect engagement ring and thats exactly what he did!!! Arthur was able to give my fiancé free reign in design - steering him at points to ensure the ring was technically sound, I know that the ring they created for me together is 110% one of a kind.

Arthur is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the jewelry making process and he makes everything by hand which is not something that happens much anymore. He puts his whole heart into your piece and makes sure that your happiness is his #1 priority.

There is no other jeweler in the world that we will use.

Not only does Arthur do amazing custom work but his store has a plethora of gorgeous pieces that any girl (or guy) would want. Must go place for holiday and special event shopping!

Thank you Arthur! Looking forward to working together on the wedding bands :)

My (now) husband and I had my engagement ring and wedding band made by Arthur. I sent him pictures of what I was looking for and couldn't believe how perfect it turned out! It is exactly what I asked for. He melted down the white gold from my husband's high school ring to make it, which helped save us some money.

He is friendly, professional and an expert jeweler. He is easy to get a hold of via email and phone, which is a nice perk. I have a hard time trusting people who work in big branches (like a Zales, Kay, etc) because they don't care about you or your ring- they just want your money... Arthur cares about his customers, his jewelry and your satisfaction. My husband knows to only buy jewelry from Arthur from now on.

If you are looking for the best and want someone you can trust, go to Arthur's.

Arthur's Jewelry is hands-down the best. My fiance proposed to me with a ring that was passed down from my great-grandmother to my grandmother. However, the ring was about 4 sizes too big for me, and over the years had gotten rather dull. I was extremely nervous to take it in to be sized and cleaned because I had heard horror stories of diamonds being replaced in antique jewelry by fakes, and then resold in the store. I stopped first at Jared Galleria of Jewelry in Schaumburg by Woodfield Mall, figuring a chain might be a safer bet. I told him that I needed my ring sized and I also wanted to inquire about having a wedding band made to fit the ring because it is in a very odd and non-traditional shape (basically like a large teardrop on its side.) He was condescending and said that since I mentioned that we are on a budget that I should forget about getting one made to fit since it would be too expensive - I should just buy one with a curve to it and hope for the best - but that they'd size the ring for $40 and have it done in an hour. I just walked out. After looking through reviews online, we found that Arthur's Jewelry had very positive reviews from people mentioning that they had brought in antique jewelry to be remade. We went to Arthur and I was immediately put at ease. He was very thorough, explained everything, and both he and his wife were so kind. He told me that because of the shape of the diamond setting and the great reduction in size that he was going to have to make a series of cuts, and showed me where they would be, to make sure that the teardrop shape wouldn't be distorted. It took about 3 days, and when I picked up the ring it was beyond beautiful, fit perfectly, and as for the shape of the teardrop, I couldn't tell the difference between the way it looked before and now - it's like he just shrunk it! I couldn't be happier, and will be bringing in some older jewelry for him to use to make into my fitted - and affordable on a buget! - wedding band, as well as a band for my fiance. We will be moving to the city after we get married, but I know I'll always drive out to Lake Zurich when I need to work with a jeweler!
