Best food ever
We hired Artistic Affairs for our wedding due to their expansive menu (we wanted to offer an array of appetizers). They were amazing! The pricing and quality was to die for. The guests kept telling me that the chicken sate and crab cakes were the best they had tasted, and we agreed! They kept the buffet full and running and the tables cleared of empty plates while our guests ate all night, and provided our dessert/s'more bar as well. They even boxed up any leftovers at the end of the night so we wouldn't have to worry about it. As a result, they went out of their way to set up planning phone calls in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure we didn't have any questions, and recommended a local baker to me for our cutting cake who turned out to be amazing. They were responsive throughout the planning process and very easy to work with. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to get an event caterer! -

Couldn't have asked for better!
My husband and I had a small wedding in December and planned our reception for June in the St. Louis Area. Artistic Affairs immediately caught our attention with their images of their beautiful displays, variety of menus and great reviews. We wanted to add to that list!
Lya was great to work with as we reached out with questions and discussed options for the menu, tasting availability and service style. She was easy to communicate with over phone and email as we were planning this from Denver and Lya made sure to find a time for a tasting during our limited time in the St. Louis area prior to the event.

We decided on BBQ menu - it was perfect for our casual backyard reception that we wanted to set apart with a more upscale BBQ menu than what is typical. We were quickly sold on the chilled grilled vegetables, smoked brisket, gorgeously displayed salads and option for a Ted Drewes custard bar. We also decided on a full sized smoked pig that Todd carved on site at the end of the buffet. We had multiple guests tell us that this was some of their favorite reception food they ever had!
We also couldn't recommend their service enough. Our event started at 5 pm and at that exact time a storm came through, moving our patio cocktail hour to inside my parents house. The catering team quickly relocated the appetizers to inside the kitchen and re-setup a beautiful display of foods. They were also able to relocate the bar and dessert bar as needed because of weather. They did a great job of keeping the event cleaned up and all the staff was friendly and excited to help.
We couldn't recommend Artistic Affairs enough. The team is down to earth, easy to work with and truly talented at what they do! -

We hired Artistic Affairs to cater our wedding reception and I'm so happy we did! They were amazing - from the food to the service, they did a great job! The food was DELICIOUS and we got numerous compliments and raves from our guests. Cam, our contact with the company, was a joy to work with. He was so much fun to talk to and he made sure I had all my bases covered before the big day arrived. I loved his attitude and his professionalism. I would hire Artistic Affairs again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a caterer in the future! We hired Artistic Affairs to cater our wedding reception and I'm so happy we did! We used Artistic Affairs for our wedding reception. Besides the helpful staff and chef, the food was amazing! We received so many compliments on how awesome the food tasted. I also was concerned about not having enough food, that was not a problem at all. We were even given leftovers, which I have heard doesn't happen often. I would recommend them to anyone! You won't be disappointed!

Okay until it wasn’t
This past Sunday Artistic Affairs catered my wedding. Leading up until the date we got along well. Todd and Lya seemed as if they were organized and were confident in making my dream wedding happen. Our tasting scheduled with them went amazing (so we thought). The food was great, actually warm, and Todd and Lya communicated to the Bride and Groom that specific changes they asked to be made to their menu were easy fixes (i.e. adding a green to the sherry vegetables, serving sauces from squeeze bottles so they would not be in open containers, serving dipping sauces for our specialty cake, and serving individually portioned appetizers-suggested by Todd). Fast forward to the wedding, none of the changes...This past Sunday Artistic Affairs catered my wedding. Leading up until the date we got along well. Fast forward to the wedding, none of the changes were made and Todd, Lya, and on top of that their staff did not comply with the couple’s covid protocols of wearing masks and gloves when serving food or not allowing the guests to serve themselves (yes, we paid for additional staff and yes our guests still had to serve themselves). In addition, the smoked turkey with maple glaze in natural juices turned out to be sliced turkey slathered in gravy thus making it inedible for our guests with gluten intolerances. We were VERY specific about the allergies of our guests and were frustrated that they cashed our check for something we did not pay for. I spoke with Lya following the wedding and for every complaint I had about our service she met with attitude and defensiveness pointing the issue back to me. Following the pointless conversation with Lya, I sent an email to Todd asking for a refund for the turkey entree to which I have not received a response. I will never do business with this company again and have communicated such with the venue so that they are aware of this matter. -
