  PERFECT wedding cupcakes + cake

  Asa @ Wildflour was the perfect person to work with for wedding cake & cupcakes. The flavors are tasty, and the designs are beautiful. I had earl gray with lavender, vanilla, and lemon blueberry cupcakes and a vanilla cake at my wedding at the New England Outdoor Center in Maine. Wildflour Cake Design has a lovely storefront in Bangor. I definitely recommend Wildflour.

  I wish I ordered extra extra.

  I have had the pleasure of having Asa make two cakes for me in my life. She got me hooked with her lemon blueberry cake with a lemon and vanilla buttercream for my bridal shower. From that moment on I knew she had to make my wedding cake. Asa worked with me in designing and creating the best wedding cake I have every tasted in my life. As an event server I have cut and served many wedding cakes in my day, none even come close to Asa's. She created a beautiful 4 tier wedding cake and allowed me to do a different flavor for each tier. We selected lemon blueberry as it was so delicious the first time I had it, a classic almond cake with raspberry filling, pistachio cake with almond buttercream, and chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream. I specifically ordered extra cake as I knew I wanted to have extra to bring with me afterwards...I wish I had ordered more extra as there was hardly any left. Many of my guests wanted to try various flavors and stated it was not only the best wedding cake, but the best cake in general, they have ever had. We are so lucky to have this gem of a baker in the heart of Bangor. I will recommend her to anyone I know! She has now become our first vendor recommendation for cakes at my place of employment. She is nothing shy of extraordinary.

  Visionary Cake Designer

  As a covid bride planning a wedding has brought me no joy. After canceling our wedding twice I just did not have the energy to keep it going. Asa the owner of Wildflour Cake Design totally took over for me and I am so lucky she did. She brought the vision of what I had wanted for my original wedding through her design. The cake was smaller but what it lacked in size Asa made up for in design. It was a beautiful tall cake. Edible stone gummies with edible gold paint, flowers and a sugar splash topper made the cake something out of an instagram dream. When you have a small wedding all the details matter. Having someone care as much Asa made me feel special and I cherish her as a vendor

  Delicious, Gorgeous, zero--stress wedding desserts! Asa's a joy to work with

  Asa was an absolute joy to work with, and I've recommended her to everyone I know planning a wedding! She made us a stunning cutting cake and dessert bar for our backyard wedding, and even beautifully incorporated flowers from our florist and home (the wedding was full of wild flowers) to the table. Wildflour cake design will be our go-to for any special occasion in the future.
  
  As a nervous bride-to be on a pretty tight budget, I'd considered forgoing a cake all together as something that I thought might be stressful and expensive. Asa made the process joyous, exciting and affordable, and now I can't imagine our wedding without her delicious creations!
  Her flavors are diverse and delicious from the mocha to the lemon blueberry!
  
  If you are looking for someone to help you put a sweet touch on your special occasion, I cannot recommend her highly enough. In addition to being extremely skilled in baking and design, she is extremely professional, and communicative.

  Amazing Flavor!

  Wildflour Cake Design was so easy to work with and did such a wonderful job! Asa made sure every little detail that we asked for was taken care, from the flavors of the cakes to decorations. We decided on cupcakes for our guests and a small 6 inch cake for us to cut. All four of our flavors (earl grey with lavender/ lemon with lemon/ cookies and cream/ chocolate with chocolate espresso) tasted awesome, if not better than I remembered at the tasting and the sugar succulents and dahlia were beautiful.   I am beyond happy with my wedding cake and cupcakes from Wildflour Cake Designs!!! Asa was wonderful to work with, she was quick to respond to any emails or phone calls, super friendly, and most importantly made us a beautiful cake!! Not only was the cake exactly what I had pictured but the cupcakes were beautiful as well and it all tasted delicious!! We had four different flavors because we did cupcakes and there wasnt one I didn't like...the earl gray cupcakes with lavender frosting were a huge hit at my wedding but the strawberry swirl cake with vanilla frosting was my favorite!! I highly recommend Wildflour Cake Design, you will not regret choosing Asa!!

  Asa did a dessert bar for my wedding with cupcakes, brownies and cookies. There were so many amazing flavors of cupcakes to choose from! Asa was wonderful in taking the time with me to be sure I got what I wanted. The cupcakes were beautiful and delicious (so were the brownies and cookies)! I would highly recommend using Wildflour Cake Design for anyone looking for cakes, and desserts in the future, I definitely will again!

  Not only was the cake adorable, it actually tasted great

  The cake was for my son's graduation as a marine biologist, so it was a theme cake. It was adorable, with coral reefs and sharks, all hand-made and very colorful. To our collective surprise, everyone agreed it was delicious as well, with a light lemon flavor, just as we had requested. Great vendor with whom to work - we heartily endorse Wildflour Cakes!

  Beautiful & Delicious Cake!

  Asa made a cutting cake for our wedding. My husband is not a big fan of cake (so we had donuts) but still wanted the traditional cake cutting. Guess who couldn’t get enough of the cake? My cake-hating husband. It was DELICIOUS. Asa is very professional and talented. You will not be disappointed!

  Loved my special wedding cake

  Our cake was beautiful, and exactly what we wanted. It had loads of beautiful, colorful flowers of different shapes. She offered us three different flavors in one cake, to satisfy varying guest tastes. She arrived on time with everything she needed, and even helped serve the cake (when the caterer refused). I had a super experience.

  Wildflour Cake + Design is beyond talented in their craft. I have seen numerous wedding cakes as a peer vendor and tasted many macrons, cupcakes, dessert shots, and the like. Asa is easy to work with, has an extreme artistic talent for design, and her work is classy. You will not regret choosing Wildflour. Hopefully she is available for your date because she books out. Pure perfection!

  She is a cake godess! She knew exactly what I wanted even though I had only shown her a few pictures of ideas I had. Our wedding cake and cupcakes looked beyond perfect and we couldn't have been happier.   Super birthday cake on short notice

  Couldn't have asked for a better cake!

  I can't make decisions to save my life! I came to Asa with a couple random ideas that I liked and said "just have fun with it". Sometimes this can be a scary choice, but I had seen her work and knew she wouldn't let me done! It was the most perfect cake I could ask for!
