Working with Ashleigh was truly a pleasure. I had begun my research for a boudoir shoot as a gift to my now husband using google. After combing through websites and even thinking of using a Groupon promotion I contacted Ashleigh. She was so quick to get back to me to set up a consult. I have truly never felt more at ease working with someone. She took her time with me to really understand that this shoot was not just for my husband but also for myself. The day of my photoshoot I showed up with a lot of outfits and even a rifle to pose with! Her reaction was classic and the photo was just what I was looking for. Thank you Ashleigh for being an explorer of beauty, an artist of the female form and for constantly making me laugh. Choosing Ashleigh as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our first conversation with her, to her sending us the links to all of our wedding photos - her passion and love for her job and clients came through. She was great to work with - responsive, kind, funny, and made you feel comfortable, and most importantly INCREDIBLY talented. From the moment we started our engagement session, I knew we had made the right decision and I can't express how much I love both our engagement and wedding photos. She listens to what kind of photos you want, and also provides great direction and instructions and ensures that your wedding day moves along as planned. She was truly a joy to work with and the results of her work are spectacular. We couldn't be happier with our photos and have received so many compliments about the quality of our photographer. I absolutely loved working with Ashleigh. Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious! She's a total pro and tells you exactly how to pose so you look and feel great taking photos. Plus, we got over 1,000 wedding photos from her--more than enough to fill many, many albums! Ashleigh is AMAZING and I am so glad that we booked her for our wedding!! I was researching photographers early into our engagement to get a feel of their work and we weren't in any rush to make a decision for a couple of months. I came across Ashleigh's work on Style Me Pretty and immediately sent her an email inquiry. She got back to me in a timely manner and suggested we talk over phone, since I lived two hours away, to get to know each other and talk over what my fiancé and I were envisioning for the wedding. Well, 5 minutes into our conversation I knew that I wanted to hire her!!! She is SO friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away. She is also very knowledgeable, creative and makes great suggestions for top photo opportunities. Needless to say, we quickly sent her our deposit so we could make sure she wouldn't be snagged up on our wedding date. I actually think we booked her before we nailed down the official wedding date!!
Our first photo shoot with Ashleigh was our engagement photos at the beautiful Butterfly Preserve in Goleta, CA. Ashleigh made us feel so comfortable and was a master at directing us into poses for great photos. She even snapped a few of us with our dog, Sofie! She has a lot of knowledge in good lighting and captured stunning shots!! She does a great mix of posed shots and the more candid poses for the natural feel we were going for. On the wedding day, she executed with the same organization, creativity, and direction. On top of that, she is so fun to be around. She is constantly laughing with her cute giggle and puts you at ease!
Our wedding photos turned out AMAZING (I know I have used this word a lot, but I mean it) and we truly felt like we re-lived the day looking through the photos. Also, she sends you the gallery quickly and everything is accessible in "the cloud" so you can easily share with family & friends. There is also an app for your phone. Very user friendly! I cannot say enough amazing things about Ashleigh! She truly captured everything special and intimate about our elopement and so much more! Our particular ceremony was challenging as it took place on a tiny little sailboat but Ashleigh was a champ and rolled with the idea. The end result was breathtaking. My girlfriend showed my some of her boudior pictures that Ashleigh took for her wedding gift to her husband. She told me I HAD to do this for my wedding too! I was in love with her pics and the idea was so fun!!! I immediately contacted Ashleigh to schedule a session. (only 2.5 weeks before the wedding date!)
She was extremely responsive, professional and so talented!! I am so happy with my pictures and Ashleigh is making sure my photo book arrives before the wedding. Her hair/makeup associate, Paige, made me look amazing too! I am so glad that I did something out of my element and I know my fiance will be so surprised!! I highly recommend Ashleigh!! Ashleigh is the easiest person to talk to. She’s a woman with many ideas and suggestions. When we first spoke to her, we weren’t sure where we wanted to elope. She offered us a ton of suggestions on locations, vendors and prop ideas. She is really helpful. What more could we ask for?

I had no idea what to look for when trying to find a wedding photographer and spent countless hours on websites looking for pictures I liked. One day I came across pictures from a wedding on SMP that I instantly fell in love with- there was something about the lighting, the depth of the color, and the moments captured in the pictures that caught my eye. I looked up Ashleigh Taylor and as soon as I looked through her website, I knew I wanted her as my photographer. You get a feel for her personality, her style, and her talent from her website alone. Our first phone conversation just reiterated what I already felt I knew- she was so warm and made me feel so comfortable. At the time, my fiance didn't believe in spending money on wedding photography, but as soon as we met Ashleigh in person, spent a long time asking her questions and looking through her portfolio, he changed his mind. We both walked out of our first meeting with her and had no question that she was the photographer we were looking for. Ashleigh not only has an amazing eye, but she really gets to know and understand her clients. I felt like she instantly understood our relationship, and she really captured that during our engagement shoot. We were both really nervous, but she made us feel comfortable right away- she made sure to listen to the ideas we had for our shoot, and give us great ideas of her own. We were thrilled as soon as we got our engagement pictures- they were beyond what we expected. Working with her on the day of the wedding was no different- we had a 22 person bridal party and 100 degree weather, and she stayed calm and professional the entire time. She somehow managed to get all 22 of our friends, and our families to listen to her, and get in the right positions, while tying to stick to a really tight timeline. I recently hired Ashley to photograph our wedding in Santa Ynez. She did such an amazing job capturing every detail and breathtaking moment!
Not only is she so personable and positive, she was able to take charge of the entire day to give us the most unbelievable photos we've ever seen. I knew hiring a wedding photographer was important, but she proved to be one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding (second of course to marrying my husband...LOL).I recently hired Ashley to photograph our wedding in Santa Ynez. Ashleigh is amazing!!! She photographed our engagement pictures and our wedding and I could not be happier that we chose her as a photographer. My husband does not like his picture taken at all and Ashleigh was even able to make him comfortable and laugh, even when he wasn't cooperating the pictures turned out so beautiful! Ashleigh is very educated and talented when it comes to her work, and she will make you look fabulous!Ashleigh is amazing!!! She photographed our engagement pictures and our wedding and I could not be happier that we chose her as a photographer. My husband does not like his picture taken at all and Ashleigh was even able to make him comfortable and laugh, even when he wasn't cooperating the pictures turned out so beautiful! She made me feel so comfortable and sexy with her positive feedback, focus, direction, and enthusiasm that I just felt like I could blossom in front of the camera. She did an awesome engagement shoot for us, photographed our engagement party and then of course the big day ;) I would recommend providing a shot list the week or two before the day of and getting her for more than 6 hours because it gets so hectic with everything going on that you can't even think straight let alone think of the family shots that needed to be positioned and I am sure that would cut down on the stress. That way, you can let Ash do the coordinating of shots while you just go where she says. Overall, we were very satisfied with our choice of photographer, she was just what we were looking for and fit our budget to boot! Can't wait til the next event... Ashleigh is truly an incredibly talented photographer and a pleasure to work with! From our initial skype informational meeting and my gazillions of email questions to her, to our engagement photos and shooting our big day, she made me feel incredibly comfortable and calm with the wedding process. She has the best personality and her smile is infectious, and she is also incredibly down to earth-- by the end of our wedding she felt more like a friend than a vendor. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful engagement/wedding photos! Ashleigh was so amazing to deal with from beginning to end! She is amazingly communicative. She quickly and cheerfully responded to every one of my questions and concerns. Her attention to detail before, during and after our wedding was phenomenal. Her joyful and gracious spirit only added to the festivities on the big day and her final product is incomparable! Our photos are positively gorgeous thanks to Ashleigh!Ashleigh was so amazing to deal with from beginning to end! She is amazingly communicative. Boudoir ONLY- Ashleigh is TRULY amazing to work with. The most bubbly energetic person! I felt so comfortable when she walked into the room, I felt like I was with a Best Friend. She was professional and yet so friendly.
I truly LOVE the work she does and the pictures came out truly amazing.
We had some trouble with the room (lighting) but NO COMPLAINTS with her...she quickly reacted and she's sooooo great at what she does that the pictures were still amazing!

Ashleigh is an amazing wedding photographer, but her true value extends far beyond the wedding day. When we first met Ashleigh, we were unsure about a number of elements about our wedding. Before we had even signed her contract, she was giving us great advice and suggestions. We booked our awesome DJ based on her suggestion. Additionally, she was a real trooper and agreed to do our engagement shoot outside of LA, in gale force winds, atop a bluff, and made the pictures look FANTASTIC. Her bubbling personality made us feel comfortable during the shoot. When it came to the wedding day, I'm not sure any other photographer would have been able to corral our vivacious families the way she did. The pictures turned out beautifully and Ashleigh captured details and moments that we will cherish forever. She was also extremely prompt in getting us the pictures, sending them out within a few weeks of the engagement shoot and less than two months after for the wedding pictures. Let me tell you, that is remarkably fast for the quality of pictures we received. I cannot express enough how VALUABLE and how AMAZING Ashleigh is! From the moment we met to discuss the possibility of using her to shoot our engagement session and wedding, my husband and I knew she was the one. And we had already met with and researched others which none of them clicked with what we wanted and needed like Ashleigh did. She was professional and super friendly from day one all the way through our magical wedding day. And when I say our wedding was magical...it sure was, and Ashleigh captured every single moment, so beautifully and perfectly. You can see the entire story of our wedding day through her vibrant and stunning photos.
Every time I contacted her for advice or for questions before the wedding, she replied back to me immediately. When I was freaking out trying to figure out my wedding timeline, I turned to her for advice, and she gave me a timeline she suggested, and it worked out PERFECTLY. She also made sure to take picures of my entire family and she did not miss any single detail. She even set up her computer during our wedding reception and displayed a slideshow of the pictures she had taken so far, so that my guests were able to see them! THEY LOVED IT! So did we.
When people see the photos I post or share, they fall in love with them. I am in love with every picture and every moment she captured, before the wedding and during the wedding. Having Ashleigh capture our memories of this once in a lifetime day was one of the best decisions (besides getting married,lol), that my husband and I have ever made. Ashleigh is a fantastic photographer! She knows exactly what she's doing even though she's only been professional for a year. She had great ideas that she kept throwing out there, and our pix turned out INCREDIBLE! All along the way, she was really responsive to anything I said. We flew her out here (DC area!) from CA because I loved her work that much! So that obviously took extra coordinating that she was really cooperative with. I absolutely recommend her, whether you're in her area or not! ;)Ashleigh is a fantastic photographer! She knows exactly what she's doing even though she's only been professional for a year. I worked with Ashleigh for my boudoir pictures. When I first meet with Ashleigh I loved how energetic and personable she was. Right off the bat she made me feel comfortable and our personalities matched so much I knew we would work well together. Even before our meeting was over I knew I was going to hire her to shoot my boudoir pictures. About 6 months later I contacted Ashleigh to set up a date, time and place for the shoot. She was very accommodating with the day and time – which was great because I didn’t want to do it on a weekend because it would be easier for me to do it and keep it a surprise if I could do it during working hours.
About 2 weeks before our shoot Ashleigh sent me and email with some very HELPFUL tips. This was great – because I wanted to make the photo shoot as easy for her and me as well. She gave me tips on what to eat and drink beforehand, about doing any facials and about what to bring. Being overly organized; I brought a TON of outfits, shoes and accessories so that Ashleigh and I had more options rather than not enough. What was also great was that my friend and hair stylist came with me and totally helped with the photo shoot. She was there to assist in picking outfits and accessories and also lended a helpful hand in hair placement and lighting.
At the photo shoot – Ashleigh was awesome – she had all kinds of ideas and poses for me to do. I had so much fun. Any insecurities I had beforehand were gone. While shooting she also showed me a few of the shots so that I could see how they were turning out. Being able to look at them got me empowered me and made more into it than I was before.
I was EXTREMLY happy with my photos. She did an amazing job and I had so many to choose from. I made a “For Your Eyes Only” book for my, then fiancé, now husband and gave it to him the morning after we were married and he was BLOWN AWAY!!

We had our wedding at Bacara resort and Spa in Santa Barbara in June, and Ashleigh did a great job capturing every moment. Everything went perfectly. She was on time, and moved everthing along timely so we were able to enjoy our ceremony and reception. The end results were fabulous! Unfortunately we weren't able to meet up before hand, so we met the day of. It took her seconds, to catch on to our personalities and coordinate how the night would go. My husband and I aren't the most enthusiastic picture takers, but she rallied us into some great poses and I'm so glad we listened. She scouted out the property of the resort, so she knew where to take us, and how the weather/lighting would affect the outcome of our photos. As expected, the whole night goes by so fast, so it's important to have someone enjoyable to work with when you have to do a photo op. Ashleigh is sweet, proffesional, and a great photographer. It was really hard to figure out our favorite photos of the wedding, because there were so many great ones! The quality of the photos were excellent, and I would recommend her for any photo occasion. I met Ashleigh through my best friend Michelle who is also in the party business and had worked with Ashleigh before. Everyone knows how i feel about pictures and how important i have always viewed the quality of pictures in capturing the true feeling of any event. So, right away i knew she had to be great if my best friend would have suggested her to me.
I had my wedding in a private villa in Santa Barbara and Ashleigh and her team were able to not only capture the gorgeous scenery but were able to truly capture the feel and joy of the day and evening. I had so much on my mind that day there would have been no way that i could have come up with ideas for poses or groupings or any of that (although normally i would have been shouting ideas). But, thanks to Ashleigh, there was no need at all for my ideas. She had idea after idea, with pose after pose, and her scenery ideas were just amazing! She even took my husband and i to a beautiful field to take more photos, which turned out being my absolute favorite!!
