Ashley is the best! She has such a kind heart and her pictures are such great quality. She was so easy to work with.
My husband was a little nervous at first about taking pictures, but she made our engagement photo shoot and wedding fun!

Ashley and her team are amazing! She was extremely flexible with adapting our purchased package to our updated needs thanks to COVID-19. Our photos are so stunning and vibrant! She gave us just what we wanted, a mix of traditional and fun. On the day of, she made photos really easy and stress-free. I didn’t look awkward and stiff because she made everything so fun and made me feel beautiful. We were even able to get some fun photos with our dog. Her photo albums are amazing and we can’t wait to put our photos up around our home. -

We got married during quarantine and Ashley was always understanding and accommodating. We LOVED how laid-back she was. She really goes with the flow! We had such a good wedding day—it went off without a hitch and everything was imperfectly perfect. Ashley contributed to the beautifully low-stress day and always brought out laughter and fun during our shoots!
During my photographer search, I noticed Ashley was the only photographer in the area offering a boudoir shoot. This had me hooked immediately: I knew someone who encouraged celebration of sexuality was the right photographer for me. Ashley made me feel comfortable and free in my lingerie. I found myself having a lot of fun strutting around in my undies, and she got some incredible shots. I gave a calendar to my husband for Christmas, and now he wants one every year featuring different pictures from that shoot (LOL).
We had a fun time bonding with her as a couple on our engagement shoot (due to timing, it was really a pre-wedding shoot). She chose great backdrops around town and allowed us to shoot in several outfits. She even allowed our dogs to come to the shoot (our most treasured family photo)! She was able to create a relaxed atmosphere, allowing our personalities to unfold. She then captured those personalities in so many artful ways.
The information she captured about us a couple allowed her to create a marvelous body of work on our actual wedding day. There were TOO many good pictures to choose from! All of her work is quality. We were astounded by the amount of time, energy, and attention she put into us as a couple. Great prices. We love Ashley so much! -

Ashley is such a talented photographer and hype-woman. Ashley took our engagement photos and was there for our wedding. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and did a great job of capturing us. We hired Ashley because of how bright, vibrant, and simply fun her pictures looked. We knew we didn’t want the trendy white-washed pictures and we wanted to have fun with our pictures. When we told her we wanted to incorporate our tandem bicycle into our wedding day, she responded with something along the lines of “hell yeah” – that’s when we knew we found the right person to work with.
I just keep looking through our sneak peek photos from the wedding in awe and having to hold back from printing off my favorites because I know there are so many more to come. I cannot recommend Ashley and her crew enough for your big day or any pictures you want! -

There is only one word to summarize my experience with Ashley: A-MAZ-ING. I fell in love with her style after finding her on The Knot - and through long-distance planning, she was able to chat with us, get to know our couple style, and was so down-to-earth and so willing to work with our ideas, and yet also able to just roll with it and use her vision to capture every moment. On the day, Ashley and Jackie were calm, cool and collected despite running around and shooting every aspect of our wedding in the hot August sun. We are still beaming as we look through all of our photos - they truly captured who we are as a couple - would 100/100 recommend! -

Ashley is the best! I found her through Instagram and immediately loved her style. We really wanted an engagement session that showed off the beautiful urban aspects of downtown Memphis and she knew all the best spots. I sent an inquiry through her website and got a response on the same day! We scheduled a shoot date pretty quickly after that, and she even let us reschedule when we had a conflict come up. During our shoot, she was easygoing, fun, and knew how to make us relax a little bit. The poses she chose were perfect for us, as I told her in advance that we weren't the fondest of PDA. We got our photos back in what seemed like no time! Maybe two weeks. They all turned out amazing and worked perfectly for our Save the Date cards! I would recommend Ashley to anyone! -

Morgan Sent on 10/11/2018We stumbled across Ashley on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her style and diversity of her pictures. Her work includes a variety of poses and locations. We contacted her with some initial questions and Ashley was quick to respond. She offers a variety of packages that are extremely affordable. We snagged an amazing photographer without having to pay an arm and a leg. My fiancé and I were both nervous about taking engagement pictures but quickly felt at ease under Ashley's direction. She offered unique locations and was even willing to walk into a buggy forest to get the perfect shot. We are still 7 months out from our wedding day and just knowing we have a photographer like Ashley gives us major piece of mind. She's reliable, professional, and will contribute so much to our wedding day.

It was obvious from the first day we met Ashley that she LOVES wedding photography. I followed Ashley on instagram even before I got engaged and always loved her work. In addition to being talented, she's always so excited about the details and always so encouraging about everything. I shared a few of my worries with her and she was just so reassuring that the day would be perfect. I've only seen the sneak peaks so far but they all really capture the days and the moments exactly as I remember them. Even some of my guests have told me how impressed they are with the photos. -

Her work reflected our personality and style
Ashley brings it all. She is a great photographer. We love how she works with color and light. However, she doesn't rest on that. Ashley makes a big effort to get to know her clients prior to the event: their personalities, styles, wedding themes, and what they want for photographs. When Ashley arrived at our wedding venue, she was carrying all her equipment plus this huge box that is her "wedding day emergency kit" which had in it everything our wedding day emergency kit did not. lol she saved the day just by showing up with her kit!. Ashley and her second shooter Jackie took photos for 10 hours on our day. By the end I was getting exhausted but she was still going strong. That's another thing about Ashley, she is so dang fun. All of the wedding party loved working with her. She made getting the group photos super fun and that time flew by. Our Sneak Peaks were amazing and we received our full gallery this week. We are more than pleased with her beautiful and creative work. These are not the average wedding pictures, they are unique in that they reflect us and our personality and style. I think that I what anyone can expect from Ashley Benham Photography. -

Melissa Sent on 03/28/2018I found Ashley through an add on Instagram and chose to hire her because I fell in love with the drama and colors throughout all of her photos. We had out engagement photos last weekend and she had the whole album to us within 3 days. Weather was kind of "iffy" the day of and she was happy to accommodate a time change, so we could try to miss the rain that was scheduled to come in. She is incredibly laid back and fun to work with. I am obsessed with each and every photo from our shoot and I cannot wait to see what she does with our wedding. I'd recommend her over and over again! -

Having Ashley Benham as our photographer was one of the things early on in the planning process that we were truly excited about, based on all her sample photos of previous engagement sessions and weddings we had seen. We found her photography style to be very unique and we were not let down! As far as communication, she was hands down our easiest vendor to get in contact with. She got back to us insanely quickly (in the world of wedding vendors), usually same day, and was very easy to plan with. During our engagement session, we felt nervous for “posing” while a stranger took our photographs. But our session was super easy-going and didn’t feel like posing at all. Ashley was very encouraging in all her feedback as well. For our wedding, she was great. Honestly, I hardly even noticed her there. She got amazing shots while keeping to the background. She was also so generous and helpful in aiding the flow of things, which I was very grateful for amidst all the chaos. After the wedding, since it was such a whirlwind, I wasn’t sure how the pictures would turn out. THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL!! Every time I look through them, I can’t help but feel so happy. Everything looks phenomenal and the lighting is fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for better photos. We will definitely use Ashley again at some point in the future, maybe for family shots (hopefully sometime soon!)! -

Caitlin Sent on 07/13/2018Ashley is AMAZING. We got our sneak peaks two days after our wedding. TWO. DAYS. I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to shoot our wedding!! Her and her second shooter, Jackie, were all over the place, gettin all the pictures they could! They were so comfortable to be around, and helped with things that didn’t have anything to do with them! I can honestly call Ashley a friend now and I adore her and her work! Pick her for your wedding/engagement pictures!!! ❤️ -
