I don’t even know where to start - Ashley was everything for us. I could not recommend her more strongly. A friend of mine also had Ashley has her planner and all we do is talk about her and how magical she is.
We chose Ashley’s coaching package (which was brilliant, affordable, and just the right amount of support we needed). Building a relationship with Ashley over a year and a half was a delight just in itself. I had received advice from a friend in the industry that most planners are either good at the design or good at the details; it was hard to find someone that did both. Well, Ashley did and she did both so well!
On the day of, Ashley handled some difficult logistical challenges and vendor issues with such grace and poise. She was there when we needed her, quick to run and grab us a cocktail, but wasn’t overbearing at all. Across the planning period, I found Ashley to be an amazing sounding board and line leader. She broke apart the planning process into manageable chunks. Her advice throughout was so helpful - I was a bit concerned that a planner would take over, but she always had me in the drivers seat while still pointing out challenges in some of my zanier ideas and providing encouragement for tough decisions. Those small details that my partner had no patience to discuss? She was there for all of them. She spent as much time as I wanted obsessing over a detail, but also kept the ship running.
You’ll spend a LOT of time with your wedding planner, and they’ll learn about all your nooks and crannies - the things you and your partner fight over, tough family dynamics, your wedding financials. Choose someone you’d want to spend time with. Ashley was all that and more for me and my only regret is that our wedding already happened so we can’t spend more time with her.

After months of pinning, we engaged Ashley a bit over a year out from our date. From our very first meeting, we knew she was exactly who we needed to help us wrangle our many ideas and make it all happen. We signed up for partial planning and day-of coordination and this was just the right amount of help. Always patiently and methodically going through every detail, Ashley made sure that we had everything covered over countless emails and a few multi-hour coordination sessions. She made on-point recommendations for our venue, sourced vendors essential to our design, and gave us great industry insights on the vendors we picked on our own. It was comforting that she had collaborated with pretty much everyone before.
Ashley fully encouraged us every step of the way to make the wedding our own in every way possible. While we didn't go 100% DIY we were thoughtful about every detail — sometimes excessively so! She helped us reach decisions, took our scattered ideas, identified what worked, patiently explained why, and gave us many recommendations on flowers, fabrics, lighting, and other details. Looking back at our wedding we're so proud of the creative project that it was and everyone who contributed to it.
The day goes by so quickly but it was rewarding to see everything come together. We were able to fully enjoy the day thanks to Ashley and her team. They set up all of our DIY decorations just right and packaged it back up at the end of the night just in time for our departure. She handled every surprise challenge that popped up: an un-bustled dress, unexpected demand for beer, performers who were late due to a car accident, a surplus of alcohol, and an unwelcomed engagement proposal. These things happened but we were involved only to a minimum. Ashley had it covered and the event ran on smoothly and we left at the end of the night for our after party with no worries. Our guests also had such an incredible time. Many have told us that we had one of the guest-centric weddings they had ever been to. Hospitality is in our nature and our wedding reflected that. -

My husband and I got married in March 2019 at 501 Union. Ashley Chamblin was our coordinator, and we could not have been in better hands.
We chose the package with Ashley where she coached us every month for around an hour (sometimes more if we had lots of questions — Ashley was super accommodating). It was amazing to only focus on the things Ashley told us to do that month and so helpful that she provided us with price ranges for how much she has seen things cost. Without Ashley, we would have been in way over our heads. Her recommendations and experience really helped us narrow down what we wanted and she helped plan the entire flow of our wedding.
When it came to the actual wedding day, Ashley went above and beyond. She was constantly on hand with champagne, fixing problems before we even saw them, and even cleaned up after our Lion Dance performers by herself. Our friends and family gave us more compliments on Ashley than almost anything else, and we were so grateful to have her.
Choose Ashley Chamblin as your wedding coordinator!!! You won’t regret it. -

If you are reading this, it means you are considering hiring Ashley. I URGE YOU TO STOP CONSIDERING AND PRAY TO WHATEVER YOU THINK MAKES DREAMS REALITY THAT ASHLEY IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY! Every single member of our family thinks Ashley is the best money we spent on the wedding. We interviewed a few planners/designers and she was far and away the best fit and the most affordable. Ashley also helped us select the package that best met our needs at our price point. She is direct and clear, and helps you stay within your budget priorities and make realistic choices that help you achieve your vision. Insane m-o-b? She's got a clear vision and a cocktail for that. Dress rips after ceremony before party? She will sew you in. Need to keep family members apart? She will warmly and gently steer people clear. Pouring rain at your camp wedding? She has fun polka dot umbrellas for the first look pictures. Budget overstressed? She has DIY ideas for you. There is no concern too petty, no design question too large. She has spreadsheets on spreadsheets on spreadsheets. I am a detail oriented organized person, but Ashley is a WHOLE. OTHER. LEVEL. EVEN MY MOM LOVED HER!!! She is creative, resourceful, has a great eye for whimsical design, and truly does what she says she will- advocate for you and your partner to have the wedding day you envision. The day of my mom was really upset about the food or something but I actually have no idea what happened because Ashley deftly and competently handled the entire thing and kept me away from any strife. She kept track of all of the small design/decor details, the schedule, and the vendors, so that we had a relaxed, fun and beautiful wedding. Unsurprisingly, all of the vendors loved working with her, and she marshaled them like a benevolent army general. Also- we are orthodox jews and Ashley CRUSHED all aspects of the tisch, kabalat panim, bedeken, ketubah signing, yichud room, and simcha dancing. If you have specific cultural needs, she is ON it. I would hire Ashley again in a heartbeat and would STRONGLY recommend that no one get married without her leading their team!! -

EHRMAGERD. Ashley is the absolute best. She’s as cool as a cucumber, funny, patient, creative, organized, responsive, and thorough! Did I say patient!? She helped us pull a million little pieces into a coherent collective event. Before we started working with her, it felt like our wedding was going to be a jumbled mess and we were just going to have to hold our breath until it ended. Ashley changed all of that. As soon as we started working with her everything came together, and, for the first time I felt like I could take a breath. She is so easy to get along with and we trusted her completely. She had wonderful ideas and was a brilliant problem solver. Working with Ashley was one one the best decisions we made during our wedding planning.
