    Beautiful Winter Wedding

    Alyse and ALL the staff were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC to work with! True professionals. The accommodations for the groom/groomsmen (ready room) as well as the Bride/bridesmaids ready room were fantastic. The food and service were incredible. Of course the surroundings were beautiful from Mt. Sopris in the background to other surrounding hills and wildlife. Plenty of close "VRBO's" to accommodate out of town friends and family. The comments from both sides of family and friends only confirmed how we felt about our daughter's wedding: A wonderful success and a great way for them to start their new life together.

    Winter Wedding at Aspen Glen

    We had a winter wedding in January at Aspen Glen and it was beautiful!! The weather cooperated and we were able to have the ceremony outside. Alyse and the staff were wonderful to work with. They take care of so much before and during the event that it makes it very stress free. I highly recommend Aspen Glen!!!

    Aspen glen and the staff went above and beyond in every way possible. We cant believe the value of everything we got. The food was amazing. Our guests all said it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. I cant say enough good things about the aspen glen.

    Beautiful venue! Overall experience was amazing! Great help, and professional employees! Event coordinator made sure everything was set up exactly how I asked! She did a wonderful job accommodating the needs to my event!

    Had our wedding the weekend of Oct 21st, 2017 and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. The venue is amazing, the dinner options, the chefs and the meals were incredible, Mike the bartender was super fun and very professional and I’m pretty sure Alyse Billington knows how to do magic. Maybe we just lucky but I believe she went so far to make our day perfect she even convinced Mother Nature to keep the leaves on the trees and clouds out of the skies. Extremely friendly, extremely accommodating, the answer was always “sure we can do that” and always with a smile. Very professional, and personable with great ideas, and suggestions and an attitude that makes the stress of planning a wedding melt away. The venue is huge and we were givin access to pretty much the entire place, including golf carts for the wedding party to explore the course with the photographer to get those once in a lifetime pictures. So many options for postcard worthy backdrops, settings and scenery, and again Alyse knows all the best spots. A decision to use this venue and this staff is one I guarantee you won’t regret.

    The venue was beautiful! Alysse was extremely helpful, listened to what i needed and did everything I requested! The staff did an amazing job! It was a fantastic experience and I would recommend this venue to friends and family!!

    Gorgeous venue for ceremony and reception. Alyse was a pleasure to work with. Always available and flexible. She is very calm, which is great when the bride is overwhelmed!

    Linda and I could not have been happier with Alyse's help in planning and coordinating our wedding at Aspen Glen. Alyse was very calm and reassuring throughout the process, which gave us a sense of comfort that everything would be as expected, and it was.

    As event planners, we don't always have a chance to work with a venue and a contact (Alyse) who is so personable, reliable, and flexible. Alyse worked with us to ensure that no detail was overlooked. On the day of the wedding, Alyse and her staff made sure that we were supported during our set up and throughout the event and made sure that the couple had everything they needed. Alyse is a true professional from her thorough communication to understanding the intricacies of a wedding and alleviating stress for all parties involved. We were truly impressed with Alyse and we CANNOT wait for another opportunity to work with Alyse and the Aspen Glen Club!!

    I had the most amazing experience with Alyse and the rest of the amazing staff at Aspen Glen. I personally had no trouble trusting the advice and guidance that they all gave me. My advice would be that.... I trusted Alyse implicitly! She is brilliant, creative and cares about her clients ! She goes above and beyond to meet the standards of Aspen Glen and the service that is provided to its members.

    Over all was a wonderful place, very beautiful! definitely was the perfect setting. It needed very little in the way of decorations because the venue itself was gorgeous in my opinion! The staff was very nice and worked very hard the whole evening. Planning the whole wedding was very easy as well because they took very good care of us, they helped us out big time making sure everything was amazing and within our budget. Very affordable for how amazing everything is! They day of all and all was pretty amazing too, couldn't have gone much better. We did have a minor hiccup with communication with staff during setup/getting ready where the guys clothes got moved and no one knew where, also there was about an hour where we couldn't seem to find ANY staff members to tell us where to set up the dj and then ended up having to move him because we set it up wrong? the event coordinator seemed very stressed out and left pretty early so food came out about 30 min late but honestly all the guest still had a fantastic time, as did I and even if I had known that that was going to happen I would still have booked this venue! All things considered, it went amazingly well and I wouldn't change it for the world!

    Wonderful event - Planning nightmare

    First I want to state that our wedding was amazing. On the day of things went off with few hitches for a 150 person event. The staff was kind and we got many, many compliments from guests. Everyone loved our wedding. I’ve been hesitating to write this because the event itself was great and I don't like leaving negative reviews. However, our experience working with Aspen Glen was not great.

    We booked Aspen Glen in June of 2018 for our July 2019 date and they went through multiple event planners in that time frame. We struggled to get a response from anyone in a timely fashion for this reason. We didn’t see an updated price for our banquet food or an updated menu even though our tasting was in March and we kept asking for confirmation of our menu. My mom had very specific desires for the wine to be served, and while she was told very early on we could have what she wanted, one to two weeks prior to our wedding the beverage manager told her it wasn’t possible and that he didn’t remember telling her that. My husband’s father witnessed the staff setting out chairs for the ceremony two hours before it was supposed to start and they were a couple short - he heard the staff tell a manager that “everything was out”. Luckily two guests were doing the music and we had the exact right number.

    And finally we’ve been struggling to get an itemized invoice from them to pay the final bill (it’s been two months). They keep sending copies of receipts with bulk charges (like buffet for 149 and a price without what the per person charge is or a breakdown like their brochure so we are unable to compare to our contract) and even a mystery charge for over $1.5k for “rentals” that we are not able to get anyone to explain to us despite the fact that we were told dish-ware, chairs, tables, etc were included in the facility fees. Hey, maybe it’s that $1.5k discount the September bride mentioned in her review.

    Honestly, we had a great wedding and the price for the valley was incredible but the headache of dealing with them was no fun.

    A lot of internal chaos

    The important thing is that the wedding went off without a hitch and was absolutely beautiful.

    However, from April to September Aspen Glen went through 4 different wedding coordinators (they kept firing them - for good reasons), all of which were completely incompetent. My wedding was in the middle of September and we didn't have a menu until the end of July. I was able to negotiate a discount with the previous coordinator for their poor service ($1500). She lied to me and said she had permission from upper management to do this, provided me with an addendum to the contract, and then promptly destroyed all evidence. When she was fired, it was a lengthy battle with management, but they ultimately honored the price once they wrapped their heads around what just happened. There was a tremendous amount of stress (wayyy more than your average wedding) and very poor communication in the months leading up to the event. It was a constant uphill battle. Kerri took over the week before my wedding and was really great to work with. She's the only one who has a clue as to what is going on around there. She was training Maddie for the position, who was great as well. The scenery was beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice. You have access to take pictures on the golf course, but they are reluctant to let you, so you just have to stick up for yourself - it was in my contract so I did it. Dining staff was a little overzealous and kept clearing tables to the point where there were no water glasses. Bar tender disappeared around 9pm and was rather hard to find, but he was great when he was around.

    Overall, I would recommend them WITH CAUTION. They literally performed a miracle for my wedding to go as well as it did, and I honestly have no idea how they pulled it off. There was a lot of advocating for myself and digging my heels in until they honored their end of the agreement. If Kerri and Maddie remain in their positions, I see a bright future for Aspen Glen.
