Do Not Hire Atlanta Party Rentals
I would never hire this company again. The employees are very nice, knowledgeable, and efficient, but the owner is at best unethical, and more likely dishonest. This was a large order, hammered out about a year ago (tent, dance floor, tables, dinner ware, wood floor in tent, carpet, and much more). Since it was a December event, we reserved tent side flaps and heaters. I was assured by the account manager that flaps, heaters, and generator for heaters (there were two other generators not for heaters) could be pulled from the order up to 48 hours before delivery, basically up until the trucks were loaded. My event planner informed me 10 days before the event that the owner of Atlanta Party Rentals had told her that if I wanted anything off the order, I had to tell him right then, and the refund would only be 50%. Who can predict the weather 10 days out? The guy (Tim Dodd) would not budge. It would have been a $5600 refund, less than 8% of the total order. The contract did not specify, but industry standard is not what I was subjected to. This guy does not deserve your business.

Charles,
I am terribly sorry to see your negative review. Unfortunately, our contract clearly states that all items reserved require a 50% non refundable deposit. The reason for this is because we held and reserved these items specifically for your event for nearly an entire year. When you attempt to cancel less than 8 days prior to your delivery it makes it impossible for me to rent it to any other client. This is very much industry standard. We turned away many other clients for said inventory to guarantee it was available for your event. I am very sorry this was not explained to you more clearly by your Event Planner. I feel confident that if you attempted to cancel hotel rooms that you reserved nearly a year in advance you would not be offered the 50% refund as I offered you.
