  Absolutely beautiful!!!

  Atoka Strings was fantastic to work with. Tara was responsive, accommodating, and the easiest vendor we worked with for the wedding! We made a special request for a song to be played for our procession and they did a FANTASTIC job learning it and making it happen. Everyone raved about how talented they were and we really enjoyed the ambiance they brought to the wedding. We are especially grateful for them playing outside when it was a little chilly. We're so grateful!

  Professional and Talented!

  We hired Atoka Strings for an October outdoor wedding and were very impressed. We went with a violin and keyboard duo. The two artists were very professional and talented. Atoka Strings has quite a long repertoire list of songs to select from. Before the wedding we filled out a questionnaire form and during the wedding they played all the music we picked out for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Many of our guests commented on how great the live music was.

  Professional and Highly Skilled

  We hired the string trio for our wedding and we were so impressed! The professionalism, clarity, and communication during the lead-up to our wedding was amazing and so appreciated!   Beautiful Ceremony Music

  Atoka Strings was fantastic to work with - Tara was such a pleasure! She was extremely communicative and easy to work with. She answered all of our questions and really put us at ease. The music they played at our ceremony was beautiful and we are so happy we picked them to be part of our special day!

  I was initially on the fence about hiring a string trio for our intimate wedding (a small reception at a northern Virginia restaurant), and I am so grateful we did. I honestly can't imagine our reception without Atoka Strings! They showed up early to set up and were super understanding as we had to adjust their location because of rain. They played through cocktail hour and dinner, and even stayed an extra 30 minutes at our last-minute request. The music was phenomenal - we had picked a few songs that we wanted played in advance from their repertoire, but they did a wonderful job at mixing in classical songs with more modern-day hits. Everyone was playing "guess that tune" throughout the night and it really kept the reception going! Tara was also incredibly responsible and helpful throughout the planning process, from our very first email to a last-minute check-in. An important note for those on a budget: their prices were incredibly reasonable. In sum, booking with Atoka Strings was one of the best decisions we made!

  The music from Atoka String Quartet was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We are still on cloud nine looking back on our wedding day. They exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond by playing outside in the cold (our wedding was in November), under conditions that were not ideal. We were so impressed with their professionalism and talent, and we got so many compliments from all of our guests. Their music helped create the perfect atmosphere. They learned a new, lesser known song for us and knocked it out of the park, and they also accommodated some last minute change requests to our song list. They were professional and responsive in all our interactions. We would highly recommend hiring them for your next event!!

  Hire ASQ for your event!

  We are so happy to have found Tara and ASQ! From the first email to after our big day, Tara and her team have been phenomenal! She's a great and prompt communicator and gladly found the sheet music for my dream processional song down the aisle. Our guests loved the live string quartet as they were getting seated and waiting for our ceremony to begin. Everything was a dream come true and we can't thank Tara and her quartet enough!

We got married at a very fancy venue, but we aren’t that fancy - Atoka was able to make it more ‘us’ by playing so many of our favorite songs. They even learned a bit of ‘Who let the dogs out’ to play a joke on my dad. Overall they were excellent, easy to work with and play so so beautifully!

  BEST addition to my wedding ceremony

  I can not say enough good things about Atoka strings. They are incredible musicians and I was able to select the exact songs I wanted for pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour. They have so many classical / traditional options but I was also surprised by how many contemporary songs they knew! Tara was so lovely and easy to work with coordinating the day and answering all of my questions. There is something so special about having live music at your wedding and so many of my guests commented on what a lovely addition it was. They are worth every penny and then some! I am trying to come up with another event just so I can hire them again and listen to them play! =o) Highly recommend!

  Beautiful, professional, and flexible

  We could not be more pleased with Atoka. From the start, they were flexible and responsive. With Covid, we had to alter our plans more than once and they were completely understanding and accommodating. The music was beautiful and we are so grateful for all they added to our ceremony and cocktail hour. ❤️

  Amazing!!!

  My guests were blown away by the trio that played at my wedding. They played beautifully and was even able to learn a special song request that I had for the groom’s entrance. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. They were awesome!

  Great music and experience

  Atoka strings was great to work with. They were very flexible with us. Did to covid we decided to not include a DJ and extend the strings for extra time. The adjustment was very easy to work out.

  Highly recommend!

  Hiring Atoka Strings for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. I had a very specific song in mind for my ceremony, and they absolutely delivered! They were so easy to work with, and so responsive even as we navigated COVID rescheduling! They were talented, prepared, and professional. Highly recommend!

They had such a wide range of songs they could play and we were able to pick must haves for parts of ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests raved about them and we loved that they could play a variety of modern music, too! Highly recommend!

  Wonderful sound

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tara and Atoka Strings!! They were one of our absolute best vendors and were SUCH a hit with our guests! They played with such grace, and the sound was warm and moving. Tara is so very professional, responsive, and kind. We went back and forth via email and she was very accommodating. I will absolutely be recommending to everyone looking for a great string quartet!

Tara was a pleasure to work with and made the entire process seamless! They are so talented and offer a vast selection of songs which made our choices easy. I found them even before I found my venue and I was so so excited to find an affordable and talented string quartet I immediately reached out and let them know of my interest. As we were searching they kept in touch to assure they could keep our date open when we had decided. We easily completed the down payment through paypal and leading up to the wedding they were incredibly responsive each time I reached out. I put together songs for the quartet to play as our guests arrived, for the ceremony, and for cocktail hour. They were absolutely perfect! Our guests loved them and they did a wonderful wonderful job with our ceremony music, exactly as I had imagined. I specifically made note to stop by to listen at cocktail hour, I only wish I could have listened more - they were SO so good. If we could turn back time and do it all over again I would choose them a million times over. ASQ - thank you so very much for making our wedding so magical. You set the tone and I was so incredibly impressed with your seamless execution of the ceremony and floored by the beauty of your music. Thank you so much! - Mariel & John

  We hired Atoka Strings for a May outdoor wedding...little did we know that the weather had other plans. On short notice they were able to set up inside and provide absolutely beautiful music for our ceremony. We had many compliments on the ceremony music and cocktail hour. My only regret was not having them play longer.

They had a great selection of music to pick from and were so easy to work with (Tara was the first of the musicians to get back to me with a quote and was just as prompt with every email after we booked). They were so accommodating, too.   We hired Atoka String Quartet to play during our wedding ceremony. We dealt with Tara in the
  weeks leading up to the wedding, and she was very pleasant and responsive. She was welcoming of all our song choices (e.g. processional, recessional), as well as the collection of songs to play as guests entered and sat. Tara was proactive in confirming the date, timing, and songs, which was greatly appreciated.
  Any songs we request that they did not advertise were organized prior to the event. The music was beautiful leading up to and throughout the ceremony! We highly recommend Atoka String Quartet for some great live string music for your event!

  Atoka Strings was wonderful. I really wanted to have a string quartet for my ceremony but knew it would be out of my budget, so I worked with Tara (the owner) and she suggested a string trio. The price was affordable than other quotes I had found, but quality was not sacrificed one bit. Tara was very responsive to all my emails and I was even able to request songs that were not on her list, without any upcharge. One of my favorite vendors from the day- thank you Tara and team for a beautiful wedding. (& for making my vision of walking down the aisle to a string trio cover of "Halo" by Beyonce come to life!!!)

  Atoka String Quartet Makes Beautiful Music

  I recently had the pleasure of seeing this quartet in person at a concert entitled “Songs of the Inspired Soul”, a concert related to the upcoming holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The performance they gave was simply beautiful. They were tight and their musical interpretation was wonderful. It was a very moving performance and I would most definitely recommend this quartet for future performances. I felt they should have received more recognition than was given them at this event...they were just that good! Why aren’t they making cd’s?

  Accommodating & Enjoyable

  Tara’s team was very professional and accommodating to our ceremony needs for our wedding. My husband and I wanted some non-traditional songs for our wedding, and so we made some requests that were outside of the lists of songs Atoka Strings had listed in their repertoire. We were so happy to hear that they would be able to play the songs for us. The ceremony’s mood was really set by those songs, and many people complimented our selections and the performance by the string trio we hired. I appreciated that Atoka was accommodating, helpful, and affordable. They really helped make the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour a fun experience for everyone, not just us!
