The Tree of Life was more than we could have hoped for. We added a few decorations but really, none were needed.

Living in NYC, I debated hiring a wedding planner for our wedding in New Orleans. We shopped many venues and the moment I met Michelle Borchard with Audubon Tea Room we fell in love ..... with the venue and her!

Michelle is a true gem! She provided me with the guidance and information I needed to feel confident about the decisions I made regarding the details. She was reliable, responsive and never made me feel like a Bridezilla. I never hired a wedding planner. No need with Michelle in my corner.

I also cannot say enough about the staff. They were on top of every detail, their calm demeanor put me at ease, and their smiles made everyone feel welcomed.

My guests raved about the gorgeous ceremony, the delicious food (I probably gained 5 pounds I could not stop eating), and the excellent service at ART. It was truly the wedding of our dreams!

Expensive but worth it. Vivian was great to work with - organized and on top of everything. The food was delicious. The Sea Lion exhibit and Tea Room were absolutely gorgeous. I had no problems with this vendor!

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this venue is, especially the staff! All the guests were talking how beautiful everything was and how good the food was, drinks, etc. All of that is very true but it was more of the "behind the scenes" that I was most impressed with. Kalin went absolutely above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was so easy to get in touch with and responded right away. She answered all our questions and even helped with the decorations the day of when things were being delivered. She was so hands on for everything and it showed. I didn't even need to hire a wedding coordinator because she was that good. Tracey was in charge of the kitchen staff and was also amazing. He made sure everyone was taken care of and there was most definitely no shortage of food. They make a great team!! Even the chef was out at the rehearsal and made sure to introduce himself and let me know we would be taken care of. I could not have asked for a better experience and all of my guests can't stop talking about how much fun they had. Another big plus was that the venue provided almost everything and saved me the stress of having to search for different vendors. The food, bar, tables, linens, even chairs! I would do it again in a heartbeat, if I could!

The Tea Room is amazing. The food, staff, beautify of the venue are all perfect. I am so thankful that we had our reception here! Everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding!

From beginning to end, the Audubon Clubhouse Cafe was a joy to work with. Don Byerly, director of the facility, and Jordan Hahn, events manager, were polite, transparent, accommodating, and professional throughout the entire planning process and cognizant of our limited budget. Ms. Hahn picked up the responsibilities of sorting out pricing and details as the event drew closer, and made planning our wedding from out-of-state so much easier by replying promptly to my questions by phone or email, sending cost breakdown sheets, and always being willing to meet with us when we were in the area. She thought of everything from a rain plan for our outdoor reception to providing a timeline for the day of and basically acted as a built-in wedding planner for us. It was much-needed and very much appreciated! The venue itself is just stunning; surrounded by so much natural beauty and 100-year-old oak trees. Since many of our guests were coming in from out of town, having a place where we could have both the ceremony and the reception was important to us to cut down on the need for transportation. If you want to get the true flavor of New Orleans; this is the place to do it - from the setting to the incredible local food options they provided for us. My husband is gluten free and they were more than willing to accommodate any dietary restriction. Anything we asked for was considered thoughtfully and carefully. Though this venue was a little more expensive than others in our price range, the all-inclusive nature of it made it 100% worth it - food, tables, flatware, linens, setup, breakdown, bar, etc were all included in the cost. For the things that weren't included, such as the wedding and groom's cake and the chairs for the outdoor ceremony, Ms. Hahn made sure to get them ordered for us and orchestrated their delivery and breakdown. The day of, she made sure we got a chance to eat the amazing food by providing a selection of the hors d'oeuvres and salad we had chosen as well

My daughter always dreamed of having her wedding ceremony and reception at Audubon Park under the canopy of oak trees. She chose the Audubon Clubhouse for the reception because it was intimate and beautiful. She wanted a place that would be filled by 100 anticipated guests, have a spacious dance floor, and have adequate setting, and a separate area for food service, Audubon was the perfect venue. We first worked with a wonderful planner, Bernadette Walker. She was very knowledgeable and reassuring throughout the planning process. She kept in contact from the time we signed the contract until about a month before the wedding when I started getting emails from Audubon about finalizing plans, but they were from another planner Christine Huner. What I soon found out was that my original planner, Bernadette, had become ill, and sadly, a week before the wedding, she passed away. My daughter and I were both saddened by her family's loss and our hearts went out to her family and co-workers. However, despite the loss of a valued employed, Audubon and our new planner, rallied to make sure my daughter's wedding was unforgettable. The venue was beautiful, the servers and bartenders were genuinely friendly and hospitable, and the food was not only plentiful, it was delicious. I had hired a friend to be there when they were setting up and help decorate the venue with some special decorations and family wedding heirlooms. She said the staff was great. Meade, my florist worked well with the venue and helped set up all my displays and arrangements. Audubon truly made this a memorable night for us, however, we did have an uninvited guest show up the day of the wedding: Hurricane Patricia. It stormed and flooded areas near our home, the route to the park, and areas near the park. We had a tent, but it was too windy so they moved everything indoors. Audubon went above and beyond to make sure everything else was perfect in spite of the weather.

This was the most beautiful and breathtaking place we could have ever said 'I Do'!

We had our ceremony and reception at the beautiful Audubon clubhouse. I was in awe of how beautiful it turned out. The setting under the oaks is just stunning. The food was great! Thank you for giving us the perfect day!

this location is very unique. You cannot reserve the tree (so it's free). You post a sign that says that there will be a wedding at X time and the people in the park (Audubon park) are respectful. It's absolutely beautiful. So easy. A little hard to find since it doesn't have an address, but it's worth it. Just take tchoupitoulas to the park. You really can't miss this beautiful tree. I rented chairs and hired a saxophonist to play some jazzy tunes. It was beautiful.

Audubon provided exceptional service and quality food and beverage. The setting of the Clubhouse was perfect for our wedding ceremony and reception. Our event contact Bernadette Walker and the other staff know how to host weddings. They are so personal and on top of the details. For the level of service and quality of the reception, we felt every penny was well spent.

Excellent venue. Everyone was great - Michelle, Jada, Patsy, Tamika, and Patsy. They worked with us and provided great suggestions that made our wedding day wonderful and unforgettable. I highly recommend this venue for a wonderful wedding.

The food at my reception was out of this world. People are still talking about how good it was. I created my menu from the a la cart menu and there was on overwhelming amount of options. I was able to get a little bit of everything that I knew would please everyone. The staff at the clubhouse ( waitresses and waiters ) were great also. My bridal attendant followed me the whole time and I never had an empty drink ( very happy bride lol )

The Tea Room's staff was amazing and made every effort to ensure our wedding reception went off without a hitch. Very easy to work with, great value, and gorgeous atmosphere.

Clubhouse was the perfect venue for us – it felt like a home, gave it that Nola southern feel, and was less formal than a hotel or something fancier; the vibe just fit us as a couple. I worked with Megan Kane, who was very busy, but always managed to respond to emails/phone calls quickly. We had our rehearsal with her, even thought she had a broken foot, she still went out there with us! Few months before our wedding, Megan got promoted and Denise Sarver was my new contact. She was difficult to reach (understandable since she had to take over during busy wedding time) but then communication flowed. I learned a lot & she was always so patient, understanding & kind. Clubhouse provides a lot, has great back-up plans, convenient tastings (though I wish more items were available to taste) & they’re flexible with your budget/schedule/wedding needs. They provide a diagram, made suggestions & address concerns. Clubhouse holds 180 comfortably; ended up working out great! Denise went the extra mile, met me a day before to choose ceremony spot/discuss details (even though she was not feeling 100% that day). (Turns out, she’s friends with my cousin! Gotta love Nola.) Relaxed, organized, PATIENT, & flexible – love her! Could not have done it without her. Had an organized/energetic attendant the day of, Patty, who kindly brought us drinks/food & followed the timeline closely. (Some minor things: There was 1 incident where the cake had not arrived yet & she told me that a couple times; probably used to brides freaking out, but I was calm & she resolved the situation; I remember Denise was upset that she told me, but it wasn’t a big deal & ended fine! I know that she was probably trying to keep me in the loop, make sure I didn’t worry. Some guests said that one of the bartenders was a little slow making drinks.) But, you can’t beat great service, delicious food, perfect weather, & happy guests! A warm, beautiful, relaxed, fun, fall southern wedding on a gorgeous wrap-around porch!

You want to have your wedding here! We had our ceremony and reception here, and it was absolutely perfect. We had the ceremony in the grove of oaks just outside of the Audubon Golf Clubhouse. It was gorgeous, an evening ceremony lit by a mix of candle light and artfully placed artificial light that illuminated one of the park's giant live oaks as an elegant and majestic backdrop for our ceremony. We held the reception in the Clubhouse, which was perfect for our wedding of 100 people (and large enough for even a few more). The Clubhouse layout allowed guests to flow from inside to the porch and patio and the club room (where most of the food was placed) and back again, more like moving through someone's home than around a large reception space. But while the venue itself was perfect, it was Audubon's service that was truly amazing, starting with our event manager Megan. Megan was incredibly professional, encouraging, patient, and on top of everything, answering a million questions about food, pricing, set up, lighting, vendors, etc., making helpful suggestions, calming nerves, coordinating with the catering staff and other vendors, organizing the ceremony (rehearsal and day of) and undoubtedly handling any number of other details that I didn't even think to ask about. The rest of the staff was also top-notch, including the bridal attendant who kept the schedule for the day of (e.g when it was time to give the toasts or cut the cake), made sure I actually ate something at my own wedding, had my flip flops ready when those cute wedding heals wore out their welcome, and again, handled any number of untold details I didn't even know needed to be attended too. The food was great too. I have to admit I was skeptical but we chose the right mix - lots of seafood and veggies and few meat items. We received a lot of compliments about the food from guests (including my mother, which says a lot!), not to mention the service - plenty of staff on hand, friendly, courtesy, on top of everything. Truly a wonderful experience. Thank you, Audubon, for making our wedding a beautiful, memorable, magical event!

Excellent Venue!!! Had 2 people specifically designated to my husband and me to help us with anything we wanted throughout the night. Very beautiful and professional!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Audubon Zoo, and we could not have been happier with the venues or the team of people who helped us to plan and pull off our special day! After the wedding, we received so many compliments on how wonderful everything was (food, venues, service, etc). We would definitely recommend Audubon Nature Institute for anyone planning a New Orleans wedding!

Had my bridal party brunch here. Fantastic food for the price, and an amazingly beautiful location. Go for breakfast, not for lunch.

It was the best venue anyone could have asked for on their special day. The venue was beautiful, I had an amazing bridal attendant, my guests raved about how well everything was put together, and especially how delicious the food was. They are especially easy to work with- I met with my event coordinator Vivian multiple times, as well as communicating via email and phone. She provided all of my other vendors with her cell # in case there were any problems, and it helped to smooth things over. I loved working with them! My venue was the Cajun Ballroom in the Swamp Exhibit, but I feel certain this quality is given to any Audubon venue.

Venue was just as beautiful as expected, the staff was incredible, and the food was amazing - actually better than at the tasting! (At the tasting we thought it was fine but not great)

Kalin had told us that she would leave before the end of the event, which was fine, but it did surprise us that she left even before the cake cutting. Luckily our photographer was amazing and directed us because we had no idea what to do.
