  Absolutely breathtaking!

  We got married at the Prospect Park Boathouse, and since the venue itself is so ornate and formal looking I knew that I wanted to balance it out with very colorful and whimsical florals. Rhonda understood my vision perfect and exceeded anything that I could have imagined! I was getting compliments on the flowers all night long and can't stop looking at photos of how it all came together, it was breathtaking!

  Read my mind perfectly!

  Rhonda worked with my husband and I to create the perfect combination of traditional and exotic flowers to fit our urban winery wedding at Brooklyn Winery. She listened to my hopes of having tons of greenery (both on the tables and hanging from the string lights) as well as a long hanging bouquet and limited colors (besides white) in all of the floral arrangements. She also made some beautiful succulent boutonnieres for the groomsmen. She graciously did an on-site consultation so I could walk her through every detail, and she offered advice (having worked at the venue previously). She's so talented and knows how to make use of all spaces.
  
  Additionally, the day of the wedding, she informed us that the garland might not make it for our table arrangements due to a hurricane that hit the city a few days before. She personally drove out to meet the vendor to get the garland for the tables to ensure we had our perfect vision completed. She has true dedication!

  Amazing Wedding Flowers!

  My fiance and I had originally hired August Sage & Violet for our wedding on April 18, 2020 that was supposed to be for approximately 180 guests. Rhonda and her team put together a great proposal and the demo/mock up with spring flowers was amazing. I'm still sad I didn't get to see the whole thing come together! Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding to August 22, 2020 and cut the guest list down to 35 people. Rhonda and her team graciously accommodated us during that process, easily transitioning to a different season, location, style, and wedding size. The second set of flowers she put together was also absolutely stunning. Everything from the table settings to my bouquet blew us away, they were truly the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen. All of our guests raved about the flowers, and I would hire them again in an instant.

  The prettiest flowers I've ever seen!

  It still blows my mind that Rhonda and her team at August Sage and Violet were able to completely capture what I wanted with just a few concept photos. She completely "got" the whole mood we we're trying to set, and made it happen while barely asking a question along the way. Somehow she just knew exactly what to do. On our wedding day, we were BLOWN AWAY by how gorgeous everything was. She went above and beyond to help us achieve the aesthetic we were looking for, and the moody, stunning florals were the centerpiece of our wedding. The whole evening was candlelit with brass candelabras, and it was the most romantic place I'd ever set food in by the time August Sage and Violet was done with it. Rhonda, thank you for making everything so easy, and for everything you did to pull off the most beautiful day of our lives. Would highly recommend to any bride looking for a florist with an unmatched attention to detail.

  Great Experience!!

  I can't say enough great things about Rhonda from August Sage and Violet! She was a pleasure to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and of course very talented. We did not have a huge budget to work with for our flowers, and she made me feel extremely confident that we could make it work. And everything looked better than I could have imagined!! She not only did flowers but was able to help round out the mood with votive candles and greenery. I was also extremely stressed about what to do with breakdown at the end of the evening, and she and her team took care of that as well. Overall, our experience with Rhonda was great and I would recommend her to everyone!

  Amazing! Above and beyond!!

  Rhonda (August Sage & Violet) did an absolutely amazing jobs on the flowers at our wedding! We were floored by how beautiful and detailed every arrangement was. We loved that the flowers and chuppah were not only gorgeous, but unique. We considered a lot of talented florists (including some much more expensive) and I am so happy we choose AS&J! Everyone at our wedding was so impressed by how beautiful all of the florals were - she truly went above and beyond. Rhonda is so creative and talented - I cannot recommend her highly enough!

  At our wedding, a guest remarked that she "knew flowers were beautiful, but had never realized that flowers could be so incredibly beautiful before our wedding." This really sums up the arrangements that Rhonda and her team put together for us, and we are so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her.
  
  Rhonda works with seasonal, local flowers, which made us feel like we had made more sustainable choices, which also really helped. I often worry about the carbon footprint of a wedding, and keeping everything local helped us feel confident that we were lessening our impact. Our venue was small and decor was minimal, so it was essential that the flowers be stunning, and they were.
  
  At present, I'm sitting at my table, two days after my wedding, gazing at the still-fresh arrangement I took home, as well as the blooms from my (now cut-open) bouquet, which are thriving in water (alas, the greens only lasted the night, as is to be expected).
  
  I used this florist without question after seeing the arrangements she made for a friend's wedding. However, our arrangements couldn't have been more different than what my friend used, and were equally stunning. It shows the range and flexibility which only true artists possess.
  
  Finally, what an amazing touch to put MINT in a bridal bouquet! It looked and smelled amazing.

The end result was absolutely gorgeous! We particularly loved the beautiful greenery covered birch chuppah and the taller pieces that went on our bars. She knew our venue, 501 Union, really well and brought in a number of personal elements like bud vases and candles to create a beautiful and warm ambiance for our winter wedding! Thank you!!

I loved Rhonda's vision, her attention to detail, and how she made everything very personal. She also tried hard to work within our budget. I had high expectations and she did not disappoint! From the bouquets to centerpieces, and oh those greenery installations! They were even better than I had expected!
  I highly highly recommend Rhonda.

Rhonda was delightful and executed our vision to perfection. She helped us clarify what we were looking for and gave us plenty of notice and vision boards to consider as we approached the day.
  
  We were just overjoyed with how it all came out: it made our day that much more special. We had gorgeous elephant leaf center pieces and a verdant chuppah to die for.
