This review is 3 years in the making. I hired Ayenia to shoot my April 2020 wedding. In 2019, we had our engagement shoot at the Top of the Rock in NYC where Ayenia shot some of the most insane photos I've ever seen!! I instantly felt comfortable with her and knew we made the right decision. In March 2020, when we had to postpone, Ayenia was extremely accommodating and understanding. We decided to still elope on our April date, so me, my fiance, the officiant, and Ayenia went to the South St Seaport and had our "wedding." Ayenia has the magic touch. Her work truly speaks for itself. Her and her team are so sweet - they make you feel totally comfortable! My husband and I are *not* naturals in front of a camera, but it doesn't matter when you have Ayenia, because she will make you look your absolute best. We love our wedding photos (and so do our family and friends)! So elegant, timeless and authentic. Her team captured the day perfectly. We knew we could trust Ayenia from the beginning and she did not disappoint! Moreover, she was so supportive during our multiple COVID delays and as a bride, I really appreciate Ayenia for going above and beyond for us. -

Ayenia was one of the first vendors we hired for our wedding. I saw her portfolio and fell in love with her style. Her style is light, bright, airy and natural. Ayenia has been professional throughout the entire process, including discussion our “day of” timeline for pictures and providing feedback on timing. We were going to skip the engagement shoot and just wait for the wedding, but our wedding got postponed due to COVID (Ayenia was very accommodating in booking our new date and made the postponement stress-free!). We originally booked Ayenia to do our wedding in Cuba! We changed it to NJ to accommodate all our guests easier & she easily was able to accommodate.
We had limited time for photos bc we really wanted to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. Ayenia made it work & we worked together to figure out the schedule prior to the wedding.
I did explain pictures are impt but what was more impt to me was enjoying our day. I didn't feel forced to pose for a ton of pics it was easy & before I knew it .. it was over lol. During the event I didn't even notice Ayenia! she was like a ninja! I was... -

Ayenia was our wedding photographer and we cold not have gone with a better photographer for our wedding. It was a summer wedding at a waterfront restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, and we wanted our photos to capture the the whimsical, romantic and classy vibe of the venue and the surrounding areas. After looking through her portfolio, I knew that she embodied the exact style and look I was looking for, and I was totally right. Ayenia has been an absolute dream to work with. During our engagement photo shoot in the West Village, she made everything super easy, we laughed lots and the photos were magically awesome. It was a cold and windy day, she was so thoughtful that she checked in that morning and offered the option for me to reschedule if I didn’t feel comfortable with the weather.
Ayenia continued to surprise us on our city hall ceremony with our parents and wedding party with all our friends. She did such an amazing job on our wedding party that she captured so many wonderful moments. Will definitely work with her again in our future life celebrations ❤️ -

Ayenia was recommended to me by a friend whose wedding photos she had taken. There was something about her pictures that made me feel as if she connected and drew out the best in people. And when I spoke with her, I could easily understand why. She is not only an amazing photographer, but she is genuinely interested in making sure the vision on for day comes to life. She did an amazing job with my photos, made everyone in my party feel comfortable and was extremely professional and thorough. She arrived early, stayed a few minutes extra to make sure we captured the perfect shot and stood in the pouring rain to make sure we had great wedding pictures! She is truly amazing and I would highly recommend her skill and expertise! -

Ayenia photographed our engagement shoot at Ft. Tryon Park. She had never photographed at that particular location before, and I was so impressed that she arrived early with her assistant and scouted all the best spots. Needless to say, we could not be more happy with our photos. They are elegant, timeless, and capture our relationship & gorgeous location perfectly.
All of the photos were delivered in a personal gallery at two different resolutions, perfect for using across both wedding sites & high quality printing for Save the Dates, etc.
We cannot wait for Ayenia to photograph our wedding next year! -

This review is long overdue; where to start. Everything about working with Ayenia was fabulous! Communications were prompt and even though we never spoke in person once until right before the day of the wedding... everything went super smooth without a hitch!
Ayenia was the only photographer who we reached out to and we decided on her instantly. She made it too easy for us and it all felt right. She prepped us for our destination wedding in Havana and connected us to a coordinator who she worked with which was a plus. Her attention to detail is second to none. Ayenia went beyond her scope to help my husband and I create memories for a lifetime. Ayenia gave us helpful tips leading up to our wedding day. She recommended vendors and details to enhance our wedding day photos. She even accompanied me to a dress fitting! We were happy she did, as her recommendations came out handy on our wedding day. Most beautiful eye for photos
Ayenia did such an amazing job at my wedding. She is organized, professional, and makes you feel so relaxed behind the camera. Even though she is so sweet and soft spoken, she can take control of the room to make sure she gets the best shots. She handled all of the dynamics in my family with grace and made sure to get every shot on my list. My fiancé can get nervous behind the camera and she made him feel at ease. Ayenia was exceptional!!!
We hired Ayenia for our wedding day photos. She really was unbelievable and we are so grateful she was able to capture our special day. Even with a change of wedding date due to covid, she was so accommodating and reassuring with everything it couldn’t have gone any smoother! She was even so kind enough to help with venue recommendations, as last minute we were frantically trying to change our venue due to covid restrictions. She was so organized and professional, the actual day was seamless, calm, and happy:). When we got our photos back we were in awe of how gorgeous they came out. So elegant and natural, she really knows her craft. You will be so lucky to have her capture your day!

Perfection!
Ayenia is such an amazing photographer and a true professional. I was lucky enough to have worked with her TWO TIMES. The first was at my maid of honor’s wedding - which is when I knew I must have her for my own. She made me feel so comfortable and guided me throughout the day with ease. Her second photographer was truly so great as well. Soon after my wedding, she sent me previews of some of the photos, and they were nothing short of perfection. I can’t wait to get the final edits! If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel comfortable and capture your day in the most perfect way, then look no further, Ayenia is your girl! I can’t thank you enough. Ayenia! You stole our heart!!!! You are such a joy to work with.
