  Great Food

  Baileys was great! So much selection for the pricing. And even our picky friends commented how great the food was! Wish I could’ve ate more

  Everything was great! I started talking to baileys a year in advance and at first I they weren't very responsive but after meeting with Susan I felt much better. I was able to go to 2 food tasting before our wedding and everything was delicious!

  I had a great experience with Bailey's- we used them for both rentals and catering and they were professional, accommodating, and reliable throughout our planning and big day! We attended their tasting about 6 months before our wedding and got a sample of everything we were going to serve- we recommend the prime rib with horseradish sauce, veggie lasagna, root vegetable medley, and crab balls. The food was hot and ready to go come time for dinner, and we got many compliments about how delicious everything was! We chose to do a buffet, but they also have options for full table service and even do-it-yourself serving. They were incredibly accommodating and were even able to change some things up to accommodate my aunt's soy allergies (which meant literally changing the oils some things were cooked in- not a small switch!). We requested both a Snocone machine and ice cream for our hot-weather wedding, and they provided staff to serve at both stations. All staff at the food stations and at the bar were extremely friendly and looked like they were having lots of fun too- we even got some pictures with them! And the kicker-- Bailey's stored the top layer of our cake in their freezer for almost a month until we returned from our honeymoon and picked it up! All of these things and more show the lengths that Bailey's is willing to go as a company to ensure their customers' wedding is one to remember.

  Wedding coordinator

  I would not recommend the wedding coordinator Teresa who she kept saying baileys so I’m assuming she works with them or is referred by them, very unprofessional seeing this as a guest. Baileys is a well established family owned company who strives for excellence but if they have a wedding coordinator that talks to people like this Teresa person they prefer someone else . I attended a wedding today and could not believe how she TERESA talked to people who helped her because of the rainy weather who aren’t employed by her to treat them like she did was not professional at all. She should be a lot more professional and acknowledge the help and not been so snippy. Use a different coordinator. Horrible, idk if she works with baileys but I kept heading her say their name.

  Bailey's does both catering and rental services. I only used them for the rental of certain items for our wedding reception on the Wharf. They supplied two large tents, a dance floor and lighting. Since the reception was on the water at our first meeting we asked when we would have to decide if we wanted walls for the tent. We were hoping to not have to add walls as we did not want to obstruct the view of the water. A few days before my wedding there was a lot of rain so they put the tent up 4days before the event which would have been fine except they called me as they were putting the tent up and needed to know at that moment (5pm) if they were going to add walls. We called them at 9am the next morning and told them to add the walls. They did not. They did not add walls until the day before the wedding, as a result the ground in the cocktail tent was soaked with standing water and very damp in the large main tent. For most of the day before our wedding we were on the phone with Bailey's asking how this problem was going to be solved. We asked that they put down turf or a hard floor (which they had at their disposal) at their cost, since they neglected to add the walls before the interior of the space was soaked. They assured us the issue would be taken care of, it was not. Nothing was done in the larger tent, our wedding coordinator had to put down rugs from her own house to help absorb some of the water. Though this help our guest still had a very muddy evening. I am very disappointed in the lack of interest Bailey's had in correcting this issue. I know its hard since they are one of the only large rental companies in St, Marys County, but if you can, please spend more to ensure the people you are working with care about your event as much as you do.
