  My Fiancé purchased his wedding suite from Banana Republic. He wanted something that he would be able to wear to other events after our wedding. We happened to go on a weekend when there was a major sale and he got his whole outfit for almost 50% off. Their are very minimal alterations that need to be made to his suite and the shoes he got are really nice. I highly recommend them for formal wear and check for great sales.

  Planning a fall themed wedding, I immediately thought of Banana Republic for my attire. Crisp tailoring and tweed textures abound in their stores. What I wasn't pleased with was their response to my discount inquiry. I saw the jacket I wanted to wear in the store. I purchased the jacket the same day but was instructed to go online for the chinos as they did not have my size in stock. When I get to BR.com, I see that I can get $60 off the jacket with an online promotion. When I called the store, which is 45 min from my house, they tell me that I would have to purchase the jacket again online to get the discount and return the one I purchased in the store. I had spent over $300 and they could not credit me the $60???? I mean the quality was amazing but I have been in Customer Service for over 20 years and was astounded by this inflexibility.
