Capturing a wedding has so many high expectations and Barbara had exceeded them with leaps & bounds! If you are looking for a highly reliable, personable, and skilled photographer, Barbara is the one.
From our initial consultation, we felt very comfortable and at ease with her personality & energy, which is highly important under a (potentially) high stress wedding day. Barabara has the patience of a saint when it comes to wrangling the entire wedding party, a set of dogs, & a VERY drunken uncle (😂).
Barbara was super flexible with our plans as we wanted to do a separate photoshoot from the venue & at different times of the day (photoshoot was in the early morning while the wedding was early afternoon).
We highly appreciated her guidance, from recommending the best times to take photos at Garden of the Gods (an hour later and the parking would be difficult to find) to encouraging us to try different poses that were less comfortable for us (we are not big PDA people) but not to the point where we froze up from anxiety. She was very in tune with us.
ALL the photos came out simply amazing: the posed photos, the stills of the venue/background, & the candid moments. She was also SUPER FAST in getting the reception photos done & following up with the rest of them! She exceeded the number of photos she had promised. She always delivered when she said she would.
Thank you for perfectly capturing one of the best moments of our lives with such care. -

Engagement and Ceremony Photos
Barbara reached out to me after I posted about looking for some spooky engagement photos and I am so glad she did! She found this amazing Cemetery, met us no problem and even purchased smoke bombs on her own. My husband and I are little awkward, but she made us feel so comfortable. She talked with us and there was never an awkward moment which really meant the world to us. She also did our ceremony photos and captured so many amazing photos. Her turn around rate is amazing. I didn't even feel like I waited for the edits to come back. I would definitely use Barbara in the future. -

User2592159 Sent on 04/29/2016We absolutely loved Barbara. We were planning on doing our pictures outside but the weather was kind of yucky she quickly came up with a new place and I couldn't love our engagement pictures more. My husband who hates taking pictures even enjoyed working with her.
