Unprofessional service with non-functioning AC requesting payment from guests
On our wedding day, the limo arrived with no working air conditioning. It was a warm day outside (high of 78, sunny), but it was several degrees hotter in the limo, with the vents only blowing hot air, which was extremely uncomfortable in formal wear. Multiple guests decided to walk rather than take the limo because of the stifling conditions. The limo driver also requested and took payment of the remaining balance from one of our guests who was not involved in renting the limo and who would have been left stranded with no ride to the venue. We do not understand why the driver chose to ask a guest to pay the balance when he had multiple opportunities to complete the rental agreement with us. Companies charge extra for limousines because they are supposed to offer additional comfort and style. We certainly did not receive that part of the service. When we contacted the business owner, Mr. Ray acknowledged that the air conditioning was not working properly and that payment was not handled correctly, but did not agree that non-functioning air conditioning and requesting/taking payment from a non-client constituted poor service. He did not believe that it was uncomfortably hot in the limo and said that the payment issue must have been our fault. He then refused to issue a refund.
