  Fun and fast turn around!

  Ryley is so easy to work with. She will definitely put you at ease and help you with whatever you need! Super quick turn around on sneak peaks (and there are so many!!).

  Amazing elopement with Ryley

  We worked with Ryley amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we postponed our large nuptials out of state and decided to have a private elopement ceremony on the beach on our original date. We found Ryley when she was recommended on Facebook group as someone who did elopement sessions. She was very professional and a ton of fun, she was willing to work within our budget and was very flexible in meeting us at our hotel before the ceremony to snap a few more pictures there. Ryley made us completely comfortable with her despite being the only person with us for a very intimate day. She followed up so quickly with some photos previews and we had our entire gallery only shortly after that. Overall, working with Ryley was a great experience and we'd absolutely work with her again.

  Wonderful Experience!

  Ryley is truly an amazing person and is very talented . She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during our shoot which helped to capture those natural moments. She was genuinely interested in learning more about my fiance and I which meant a lot to us. She is creative, passionate and talented photographer. We were so lucky to of had someone recommend her to us. I appreciate everything she has done for us.

  Simply the best

  This woman is absolutely amazing! She’s invention & a photo-ninja; you’ll find pictures in the finals you didn’t even know she was taking. She helps you relax and really knows how to capture the moment. My father is the worst! He likes to move right as the camera snaps, but she managed to get a bunch of wonderful shots of him. And the parents of my flower girls are begging me for pictures because they’re the “best they’ve ever had taken” (actual quote). She loves what she does and it shines through her work. Even though it’s not her role- she stepped up & helped everyone calm down when the mother of the groom was 40 min late, seriously above and beyond is what you’ll get with this one. She’s my photographer for any event in the future now, how many can you say that about!

  Ryley was amazing. So professional and really took the time to get to know who we were & our personalities. Her attention to detail, professionalism and genuine excitement for our day made it so much more special. The photos came out amazing & were exactly what we were looking for! I highly recommend her.

  We used Barefoot Photography for our wedding on November 14, 2015 and I am so happy that we did! In addition to our wedding photos, Ryley also did our engagement photos. She was so helpful scouting out areas to take photos that captured our personalities. She also looked at my pinterest boards I had made for engagement and wedding photos to get ideas of what style photos I would want. For our engagement session we took some photos at a park and some at a baseball field and Ryley had no problems going to multiple places. She was even great with taking photos of us with our dog! On our wedding day she brought her partner, Matt, with her so we could make sure we got all of the special moments captured. They did the most amazing job at capturing every moment! My Groom and Groomsmen had a great time taking fun pictures with Matt while Ryley took photos of the girls getting ready. The photos turned out so beautiful! Ryley also gets the editing done and the photos mailed to you super fast! Ryley and Matt were so much fun to work with! I would definitely recommend Barefoot Photography and would definitely use Ryley and Matt again!

  I contacted Barefoot Photography when my original photographer fell through 2 months before my out of town wedding. Every step of the way, Ryley was very friendly and helpful. She was open and flexible to my probably unusual requests. One of my favorite things about her before meeting her was that she actually listened what I like and made that work with ideas of her own. I commented on her use of dramatic landscapes, and she set me up with THE most incredible landscape for photos.
  
  When I finally had the chance to meet Ryley, my favorite thing about her changed to get relaxed vibe that made us comfortable taking photos, and the ease of getting of to know her with no awkward introductory phase. She let us be ourselves and didn't force unnatural and repetitive poses on us.

Our photos turned out fantastic. The package we purchased with her included a book of our favorite shots, and I'm very excited to see it all put together.   Ohhh where to begin. Ryley is absolutely amazing! We wanted to meet with her before we committed and she was so nice and personable! She responds to her emails quickly and is very professional. We hired Ryley to do our engagement pictures and wedding photography. I was so excited I came home and pinned engagement photos I found on Pinterest. I added her to my board so she could see what I liked and she even added some stuff she found. On the day of the engagement pictures we met at Balboa Park. She had all my poses I liked from Pinterest printed out to make sure we didn’t forget anything. I pinned a picture of this awesome looking tree with the roots sticking out of the ground, and she found it the day before so we weren’t wasting time trying to find it the day of our pictures. While there she found some other awesome spots too! I cannot wait for Ryley to photograph my wedding because I know the photos are going to be absolutely stunning. We used our engagement pictures to make a collage for our save the dates and my family and I had a hard time picking the best 9! Not top 1, but top 9 pictures that were our favorite! I loved that she gave me a CD of all my edited pictures and I have full copyrights. The turnaround time was great as well! She works super fast and is very decently priced! Ryley will always be my go to photographer for future family photos, baby photos, etc. Even though we do not live in San Diego, she is worth the drive!

  We loved having Ryley as our photographer, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. I also really appreciated that she wasn't overbearing or controlling as some other photographers I spoke with. Additionally we received our photographs very quickly and they were gorgeous. We are having a really hard time choosing which ones we like the best! We also used her second photographer option and that photographer was also competent and professional. Her prices are very reasonable. We are so happy we used this sweet, friendly and accommodating photography service.

  There isn't a single thing I would have done differently with my pictures. Ryley was professional and so much fun to work with, it made the day go so smoothly and we had a blast. The pictures we received from Ryley were beautiful. During my ceremony, I noticed a butterfly sitting on a nearby lantern; it stayed the entire time. When my husband and walked back down the aisle together, I grabbed Ryley and told her about it. She was so responsive and shared my enthusiasm, now I have some amazing and unique pictures to remember that moment by. She was diligent in making sure we got the pictures we wanted and even some that we hadn't thought of but worked out wonderfully. Ryley is so sweet and easy to work with, I would recommend her over and over again to anyone looking for a photographer.

  It was such a pleasure working with Ryley for our engagement photos and wedding photos in San Diego. I was so lucky to find this gem being from Colorado. She knew the area very well and had great spots for perfect photos! She was always on time and excited to be there taking photos. She was also very calm and patient with my guests (some were a little hard to deal with...). She gave us plenty of ideas for romantic, creative shots as well. As for getting your photos it only took Ryley about a month to have them all edited and in the mail on a disc or hard drive! My family and I were absolutely amazed by how beautiful the the photos turned out, Ryley far exceeded my expectations, her talent in photography is brilliant! I wound defiantly use Ryley again and recommend her to all!

  Riley did an amazing job photographing our wedding! We had a great time shooting pictures and Riley was flexible and creative with her picture taking. I would definitely recommend her as she is professional and artistic. The memory lasts forever through her pictures.

  We are so thrilled with the outcome of our wedding photos! Ryley not only photographed our most important day, she captured the rustic theme we wanted for our wedding / reception perfectly. She went above and beyond. She is professional and very personable. Anytime my friends or I have an important event I will ask her to be a part of it.
