We worked with Bari for our wedding in Sea Ranch. Hiring Bari was hands down the best and most important decision we made during the wedding planning process. Not only did she flawlessly bring our vision to life, but she also made the entire process smooth, transparent, and consistently focused on what we wanted. We really trusted Bari: all our passing and detailed comments were taken to heart and perfectly executed, and on top of that, she consistently advocated for us when we encountered challenges along the way. Bari was the most organized, professional, and thoughtful planner we could have asked for, and she was unwaveringly patient with the endless questions and requests coming from us and our families.
Not only did Bari make the process seamless and fun, she was truly masterful with her weekend-of coordination. Bari’s command of the wedding day logistics was unmatched. As a very type A couple, we felt complete ease and trust letting go, which allowed us to be present and take in every moment throughout the weekend. Meanwhile, Bari communicated across families and wedding parties, organized a complex transportation schedule for 150 guests, and orchestrated across several vendors (including a multi-day build and install). All the vendors noted that they really appreciated Bari’s communication and thorough attention to detail. Bari was even present until the party ended at 2AM, ensuring all guests got home safely and that both the guests and venue were well taken care of. Amidst this all, Bari somehow managed to be so present and hands on with us as if there were five of her. At the end of our wedding, many remarked that she felt like part of the family.
Finally, and maybe most importantly, Bari is an exceptional person. We planned this wedding with her for the better part of two years, and Bari was so reliably good and lived up to (and exceeded) the commitments she made to us during our first interview calls with her. We believe it stems from her reason why – it’s so clear her motivations for being a planner are centered around celebrating love and creating genuinely joyful and memorable experiences curated and personalized for her couples and their families and friends. We couldn’t be more grateful and feel so lucky to know her. The best piece of advice we could give to any couple is to work with Bari.

Bari… where do we even begin! She was our SAVING GRACE during our wedding. After scrambling to find a planner after parting ways with our previous one, we instantly clicked with Bari and knew she was the one for the job. During our initial phone call, she was so kind and attentive, and immediately stood out from our past experience. It just felt like she was the right fit from day one, and that feeling never went away.
Over the next several months Bari continued to prove to us she was way more than a wedding planner, she was a wonderful friend and someone who offered us support throughout the entire process. During every meeting she checked in on us, asked what she could do to help and relieve stress, and paid close attention to every detail we conveyed.
When the wedding weekend came, she had an answer to all of our (many) questions and the entire weekend unfolded seamlessly thanks to her and her wonderful team. We would recommend her to ANYONE in California and will be using her expertise for any future events. Do yourself a favor and hire Bari, everything will be easier once you do! -

I literally don't know how people get married without Bari. She's a wedding goddess. It seems as if she can predict the future - she was always one step ahead of us on everything relating to our wedding. She suggested the most incredible vendor team and seamlessly ran our wedding day. Honestly picking Bari was the greatest decision that we made for our wedding, everything was perfect!! Bari is a fantastic wedding planner & designer, and we couldn't have pulled it off without her. She is incredibly organized and kept us on task with helpful checklists & timelines. She has an incredible rolodex of vendors throughout the Bay Area and is calm, direct, friendly and professional. On top of that, she put together some beautiful designs for our redwood forest wedding this summer. If you're looking for a wedding planner, look no further! -

You NEED Bari…Trust Me!
I have always been the most organized, detail oriented, type-A person I have ever known…until I met Bari. I knew planning and organizing a wedding was going to be big task and the minute we met Bari, we knew she understood our vision and would be able to execute to our high standards down to the very last detail, with style and grace. To be more specific, Bari stuck with us through two pandemic delays, ensured all our vendors stayed informed, and had such patience with us as we “refined” our design choices countless times. Her communication was excellent and she was always overly prepared and a step ahead when we would meet with other vendors. Not only was she always prepared, but she handled challenges with grace when they inevitably arose. When we ran into an issue with one of our vendors days before the wedding, Bari jumped in and took over all communication so we could focus on hosting our friends and family as they were arriving. By the time our day arrived, Bari had the issue resolved and exceeded our highest expectations! Bari also remembered every detail we discussed with her…from how we wanted the apps to be served so nobody missed out, all the way down to the color our signature cocktails should be! I can’t say enough good things about Bari. If you are having a wedding, you NEED a planner and I promise you won’t find a better one than Bari. So if you’re reading this review, save yourself some time and just book Bari now…let her take care of everything from here. You’ll be glad you did! -

There are no words to describe how happy we were with Bari. Bari is not only knowledgeable on every single wedding detail, but she worked with us on everything leading up to the wedding. She helped with invitations, favors, placed settings and the list goes on and on. My daughter got married in Turks and Caicos and planning a destination wedding during Covid came with many stressful situations. Having Bari with us put my mind at ease and honestly I could not have done it without her. Her presence allowed all of us to have an incredible time as we knew she was on top of everything. -

Saved the day!!
We got married in Turks and Caicos and Bari helped plan our special day. We were so frustrated with our planner from the resort and reached out to Bari to assist with the process. She changed our ENTIRE experience and calmed my nerves from the moment she took over. Bari was the MOST amazing planner and helped make our special day so perfect! She was organized, particular (in the best way possible), professional and remembered EVERY detail from start to finish. There are truly no words to describe the impact she had on our wedding. Bari and her team were nothing short of amazing. We got married and live in NY and Bari agreed to plan our wedding from San Francisco. I never doubted her for a second that she could pull this off. We unfortunately had to post pone our wedding and cancel our venue and we quickly changed plans to get married in our backyard. Bari had to change all plans and she did an outstanding job. Bari and her team made all of our wedding dreams come true. I do not think we would have been able to do it without her. She transformed our backyard into the most magical place I have ever seen. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. If you are in need of a planner, hire Bari and her team!

You need bari!
YOU NEED BARI! Bari is professional, organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and always 10 steps ahead. You need her during your wedding planning process and on your wedding day! Planning a wedding in Covid can be complex and overwhelming but Bari made the process so seamless. Not only did Bari help us navigate planning with a level head, but she kept us on track with every single detail throughout the process. From the moment we started working with Bari we felt set up for success. Bari empowered us to understand all of the fine print and contingency plans that come with planning a wedding in a pandemic, she negotiated competitive packages with all of her (incredible!!) vendor recommendations, and she asked all of the right questions to understand our vision and made it HAPPEN without a hitch on our wedding day. Plus, her shared planning portal made the process so much easier for us to wrap our heads around. Seriously - at any moment if we needed clarity on details we could hop into our shared portal for a quick visual of the remaining to-dos, track RSVPs, track our budget, build out seating charts, you name it. Bari truly put us at ease and working with her allowed us to simply be present on our wedding day. It was the most beautiful day and our guests told us they wish they knew about Bari when they planned their wedding. On top of everything, Bari is just a wonderful human being and incredibly kind. We will tell literally anyone who will listen to work with her! -

Our wedding planning was very complex due to covid and a large number of international guests. Bari's pragmatic mindset combined with excellent communication, valuable network and experience was indispensable in achieving the wedding we both had dreamt of at the start. We had a magnificent two-day celebration with 100 guests on the Sonoma coast. Could not imagine doing this without Bari! -

Bari: Leadership, Integrity, Committed, Creative. She's your girl!
My husband and I were unfortunately caught in the whole pandemic wedding reschedule debacle and I think that is when Bari and her super hero skills became apparent to us.
Bari from the beginning of our relationship was exceptionally detail-oriented, organized, prompt, professional, etc., but truly her skills really shined when we were in the middle of what felt like the biggest crisis of our lives. Not only was it extremely frightening, emotional and sad for us to reschedule our wedding, but for Bari I am certain is was a tough and scary time, yet she made us feel like we were her biggest priority and really led the way through the unchartered territory. That takes an incredible amount of leadership and confidence and she nailed it.
Aside from her dedication to us and navigating through a pandemic and likely numerous rescheduled weddings, she never once tried to charge us more nor did she ask for anything in return even though she worked with us a year longer than she anticipated. That shows immense integrity.
Once our special day finally was near (a year later) Bari guided us through the entire process. She helped me find my dream vendors, outlined all the deliverables we/she needed, provided guidance whenever we needed it (literally would text with her), and kept us on track for timelines (we had a tendency to be tardy on items!). She really was committed to the success of our wedding and made sure we were set up for success.
Getting married can be such an emotional experience for a couple with many unanticipated twists and turns and it really meant so much to have a wedding planner who we could rely on to be our partner and guider through the journey. She was so empathetic through our entire experience, so hardworking, and truly just went above and beyond. We had a really really difficult venue/catering vendor who made everything harder than it needed to be and she advocated for us and we are forever grateful for her partnership.
Bari will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we will always be eternally grateful to her for bringing our beautiful dream wedding to life. She is creative, kind, warm, generous and just such a special person. You would be lucky to get to work with a wedding planner like Bari. -

We hired Bari in early 2020 before the pandemic. Luckily we had our heart set on a date in 2021, but planning through the pandemic was daunting. We weren't sure our wedding was 100% going to happen until only a few months before our date. Through all of this uncertainty, Bari was so kind, patient, reassuring, and so on top of things. She helped us stay focused on bookings and details as if our day was 100% happening. There were some challenges along the way, but Bari handled everything so gracefully, we wouldn't have known what to do without her support. We were so happy we hired Bari. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and was even more GORGEOUS than we ever dreamed of. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! Thank you so much Bari! -

We recently got married in San Francisco, CA and absolutely could not have done any of it without Bari Sherman!!!
But, let me start from the beginning...
A year before our June 200 person wedding in Sonoma, CA we hired Bari, from the start she made what could have been a stressful planning process into something enjoyable for both my husband and myself.
From providing a checklist of things we needed to do throughout the planning process, to helping with vendor recommendations, contract negotiations, layout & design, minute-by-minute flow on the day of and anything else we could possibly need help with. Bari was there and with a smile on her face!
Then the pandemic hit and our wedding day as we had envisioned it, was not going to happen.
Two months before our June 27th date, with Bari’s support and assistance we made the difficult decision to not only cut our guest list from 200 to 26 but to also push the date to July 18th. The stress of replanning a smaller intimate wedding includes so many moving parts, but Bari kept us organized, on track and did so with ease. She renegotiated with all our vendors, cancelled those we did not need and held our hand on this emotional roller-coaster.
2 weeks prior to our wedding, cases in California started rising, risk was high and our little wedding in Sonoma was not looking likely. So again, we had a change of plans and with Bari’s help we planned the most perfect socially distant picnic wedding in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA!
From the moment we made the decision, Bari went into crisis mode and handled everything so beautifully. She renegotiated contracts for vendors we still needed, handled credits/refunds for vendors we no longer needed, readjusted our day of timelines, took ownership of communication with our new ceremony venue (SF Botanical Garden) and helped with the design layout for the picnic, all while putting NO stress on us during an already stressful time.
Bari is dependable, creative, professional and all-around amazing! We truly can't say thank you to her enough times. Being a bride and groom during a pandemic is not easy but with Bari’s help, we pulled off the best day of our lives and we truly could not have done it without her! -

Let me just start this by saying, Bari can add Disaster Wedding Planner Extraordinaire to her resume after having had the most unprecedented and hopefully last pandemic wedding season. 2020 has really put everyone to the test and Bari handled every challenge with grace and confidence. Not a week went by where my now husband and I didn't say "I don't know, let's ask Bari!" She was such a bright spot in our lives during this uncertain time. To share our unique (or not so unique) story. My husband is French and all of his friends and family are living in France. This is normally not an issue, but when borders were closed and even close family members were separated, this became challenging to plan a wedding. Bari was with us every step of the way to provide us with empathy, problem-solving, and hope.
She helped us navigate when our original vineyard wedding venue asked us to postpone...and then to postpone again. She was there for us the help plan a micro wedding. She was there for us just to listen to our wedding day fears. Bari did an exceptional job at orchestrating our (at this point) last minute picnic in the park micro-wedding. While it was not the wedding we had imagined with all of our friends and family members in attendance, it was still beautiful and a lot more memorable than if we would have gotten the fairytale wedding we had envisioned pre-COVID.
Bari is extremely professional, pleasant to work with, and has a great sense of who her client is and what they need from her. She did an exceptional job at our micro wedding and we are looking forward to working with her again in 2021 when we have the big party. -
