  Great Pizza and Great Service

  This pizza was great for our wedding! Everyone loved it. The guest favorite was the pesto pizza. Basil Pizza was great to work with. They set up and clean up their area which makes for low stress set up and clean up. Highly recommend!

  No ordinary pizza

  So delicious. Pizza is my favorite food and I wanted to have some at my wedding. Some family members where worried but once they tried the pizza and the meatballs they were quick to say how delicious the food was.

  Wow, just wow

  The food was great, staff was so so nice, attentive, and professional. Also if I may say, the unlimited pizzas was a hit for all my guests ! Highly recommend

  These guys were awesome ! The service, food and quality was exceptional! So happy to have found Basil Pizza to cater our wedding! Our guests loved it and we were so impressed!

  We had a backyard wedding in my in-laws gorgeous house. We loved the fact that the pizza ovens were set up next to the pool! We've had food trucks in the past and having to run to the truck to place an order was taking away from the fun. We had the funghi pizza, Margherita and Meat Lover and they were all amazing! We also had salads, Caprese skewers and bruschetta during cocktail hour. Do not hesitate and hire them for your wedding, you will not be deceived!

  We COULD NOT be more happy with the quality of food and service we received! My husband and I were able to sit back and relax knowing that everything was taken care of. Their online menu had a lot to choose from and was a simple process from start to finish. Their set up was high-end, classy, and the little pizza ovens were brilliant. We were worried that the ovens would take up too much space but their entire station was compact and quick to set up & take down. Very fair pricing for Los Angeles. The staff was incredibly accommodating and professional. Yuri was super flexible to work with and the attention to detail was spot on. I can't possibly say enough great things about Basil Pizza Bar - we are so glad to have found them and would recommend them to anyone.

  We are pizza aficionados, so we HAD to serve Pizza for our wedding! The question was. Which caterer to choose ?
  
  We started browsing around looking for a pizza caterer that would offer an upscaled set-up, as usually pizza is considered a casual food, we were concerned about the overall set-up and look of the station. We found Basil Pizza and were very intrigued with their pictures (as they were the only ones to post picture about their station).
  
  On wedding day, the set-up looked exactly like on the website! Every little detail was well thought of: marble counter tops, state of the art wood fired ovens, Pizza Chefs with clean attire (and very friendly). All our guests were impressed as they had a chance to see the pizza baking right by them. Yes! the station being fully portable, they set up ovens, and buffet next to the banquet tables.
  
  Let's talk about the food. We had an appetizer round with tray passed appetizers (Bruschetta and skewers), the highly suggested appetizer platter was a hit !
  
  Then salads and pizzas! We had a cake for dessert.
  
  The team was a pleasure to work with, they helped during the planning, as they encouraged to work a table release schedule and it worked perfectly.

  A truly wonderful experience on our big day! Our guests really enjoyed the wedding pizza catering. The kids especially loved being able to build their own pizzas at the pizza bar. Highly recommend Basil pizza bar. They bring their own brick ovens and make hand-made pizzas on the spot.

  Basil Pizza Bar saved my event! Our original catering service fell through just a couple days before our event & we were in a panic. Luckily Basil Pizza Bar was available and everything worked out so flawlessly. We didn't have a huge space for set up, but this was not a problem as their layout is portable and doesn't need to be parked in a driveway. We chose the pizza buffet but there was also the option to get a topping bar which we may have to test out at our next event!

  What a treat! I used Basil Pizza Bar for my reception and it was a home run. The chefs were courteous and accommodating. Set up was so easy and did not take up much space as their station is compact. Their entire system was brilliant and high-end. We chose a topping bar and it turned out to be a big hit! We will be using them again :)

  They took our wedding day to the next level.
  Pizza, pasta, and salads for dinner. Wood boards and appetizers during cocktail hour. Great presentation and set up, amazing pizza, and Very reasonably priced given their standards!

  Amazing Food Experience, Not the Best Service

  The food was absolutely fantastic. People are still raving about it months later. I mean, who doesn't love pizza and crepes?! As a native New Yorker, I'm pretty difficult to please in the pizza department, but the Basil team knocked it out of the park. And the charcuterie and meatballs were to die for as well. The presentation was also gorgeous.
  
  The only recommendation I would have for prospective clients is to hire them for food/catering, but not for service. We hired staff (waiters, bussers, etc) to help with setup, serving and cleanup through them as well, and it was my only complaint. A few of the staff did not show up at all and almost nothing was bussed at the end of the night. My husband and his brother had to clean up everything to get ready for the rental company themselves.
  
  With that said, it was still an overall positive experience and I would certainly recommend them for food/catering services.
  
  All in all, food - A++
