We hosted my daughters wedding at the hotel. Everything from the hotel stay to the event was outstanding. The entire staff was kind, accommodating and professional. Keira, our event coordinator was beyond wonderful! The food and service was perfection!!! All our guest raved about their stay! I would highly recommend the hotel for events or just a weekend getaway!! Absolute joy to work with!!!

We were looking for a Venue to have an intimate wedding in February, we looked couple hotels and we were so happy when we found the Battery Wharf Hotel. Keira Campbell helped me from start to end, she was always very helpful giving ideas, helping me to look for vendors, decoration items, always available when I wanted to meet in person and very responsive with emails. Keira made the whole process sooo much easier for me and to top it off on the evening of our wedding we stayed at the Hotel and she sent us a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberry. She could not have been more thoughtful! We had our wedding in the Harborview Ballroom, the view was gorgeous!! The room was big and because we had an intimate wedding we were able to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in the same room, so convenient! Although we had an intimate wedding, I can see the Ballroom being just as great for a big wedding. I highly recommend this venue, great staff, awesome service, the place is beautiful, gorgeous view and great food!!

My husband and I got married at the Battery Wharf Hotel in September and can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was from start to finish. Our main point of contact was Katie Rippin, who is an absolute dream to work with! She is sweet, responsive and extremely on top of her game. Katie, and every other staffer we interacted with went above and beyond for us in every way possible, to ensure that we had a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Our cocktail hour, ceremony, dinner and reception were all held in the ballroom area downstairs. Overall, the wedding was a great success and we could not have been happier with our venue choice!
The absolute best part of having our wedding at the Fairmont was the access to the onsite wedding planner, Mabel Ramonas. Mabel not only performed her professional duties as our coordinator but also became our friend during the process. Her organization and attention to detail were instrumental in our wedding being a success. Beyond her professional obligations Mabel also reminded us of details we would have otherwise forgotten or never thought of. Mabel also introduced us to other members of the staff who were able to assist us in other aspects and provided us with vendor recommendations. Wedding planning is stressful but Mabel had a way of providing a calm and confidence that got us through. Our wedding was one of the most important days of our lives. And Mabel, through her professionalism and caring nature, helped us to create a memory that we will cherish as one of our happiest days. We recommend Mabel and the Fairmont for any wedding or corporate event.
The chef was also amazing. The dinner was executed perfectly and our guests raved about the food. Many said it was the best wedding food they ever had!
As a final note, as with any event, there were a few minor hiccups. The ballroom area shares a bathroom with the upstairs restaurant which lent itself to wedding crashers. They were easily recognized and removed but nonetheless it was surprising. And the hotel bar closed earlier than expected (we were originally told they would be open after the reception). So, we moved our late night party to a secondary venue. [good to keep in mind if your guests are the partying type.]
Again though, we were beyond pleased with the venue choice and the assistance of Mabel. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone interested in marrying in the Boston area!

If you want a classy and elegant wedding- look no further. Karly handled every aspect of our wedding promptly and professionally. On our wedding we were very relaxed and got to truly enjoy every second of our special day!

The Fairmont was truly amazing, beyond stunning and the staff was so welcoming. They made us feel as though we were the only ones they were working with. Although we knew they were also working another wedding the same day as ours, we did not feel as though they were stressed or juggling with us. They treated us well, upgraded our room to the most amazing and beautiful suite. No matter what we asked for, they found a way to make it happen. We had our ceremony outside on the harbor walk and reception at the Maritime Museum. We had a smallish wedding (30 people) and the museum was a perfect place for the reception. The Harbor Walk provided a gorgeous backdrop to our intimate ceremony. The Services Manager (Ashley) was there and oversaw our ceremony and reception to ensure that everything went as planned and prevented interruptions from the water taxi. Every time we talk about our wedding with people, we always rave about the Fairmont and Ashley. In all the hotels I have stayed at, I have never been treated so well by every member of the staff. I highly recommend having your wedding, reception or any other event at the Fairmont.

Our expectations were exceeded for our wedding at the Fairmont Battery Wharf (FBW). It is a beautiful venue to begin with which is the reason we chose the FBW to host our wedding reception, however once all the special wedding touches were added (to name just a few - the gorgeous linens and china/glassware, bar display/set up, use of AV equipment and modern cake display) it was truly stunning!!

Ashley Lamy, Catering & Conference Services Manager. was wonderful to work with and a great resource to bounce ideas off of. She was professional and patient throughout the entire wedding planning process. as well as on the day of our wedding. During the planning phase, it was easier for me to correspond via email rather than phone. Ashley accommodated my preference and responded to my many, many emails all on a very timely basis. The day of the wedding, there were some concerns with the cocktail hour being outside near the waterfront as it was chilly and a bit windy. Ashley could have just set up everything outside as planned, however she was more thoughtful about this decision and found my mother in the hotel (we - the bride and groom - were taking pictures elsewhere) to get her input on moving the cocktail hour location. In the end, so that our guests would be more comfortable, the cocktail hour was half inside - in the Maritime Museum - and half outside. It was perfect!

The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Our guests are still raving about the appetizers during cocktail hour!

Lastly, we took advantage of the Fairmont's Platinium Wedding program and were able to use the gift card we got at the Fairmont hotel we stayed at during our honeymoon!

We will be thankful always to all those who assisted with our wedding at the FBW and helped to make it an amazing experience overall. We highly recommend the FBW as a wedding reception venue!

I cannot recommend Fairmont Battery Wharf enough!! Our wedding was totally perfect, and it was even on the weekend of Hurricane Irene! Everyone on the staff adjusted to the situation so beautifully. Me, my husband, our families and guests were so happy at the ceremony and reception. The weather didn't matter at all. Our wedding went so smoothly. We owe a great debt of gratitude to Ashley Coffeen Lamy, the wedding coordinator for the Fairmont. She did such an amazing job, was so positive and helpful. Every vendor she referred us to ended up being amazing as well. Again, I can't recommend FBW enough. The price of the wedding was rather high, but the value was extraordinary. Worth every penny. The food, service, friendliness and professionalism at the Fairmont is fantastic. Even months later, my husband and I are still talking about how awesome our wedding was.

We were married at the Fairmont Battery Wharf this summer and everything turned out absolutely beautifully. We had the best weekend and our family felt welcomed and attended to by all the staff members. The wedding planning team does an incredible job from the moment you contact them all the way through to the end of the weekend. Ashley, the events coordinator, is one of the most capable and professional planners you could ever wish for. We've visited the FBW - even after the wedding - and the staff still remembers us and seems sincerely happy to see us again.

I'm very impressed with the whole staff; from the doorman, valet, checkin, restaurant host and of course the wedding coordinator. They were top notch! They were responsive without being intrusive, and all of my needs were met the day of my wedding, and the days leading to it. I've worked with both Ashley and Karly. They were very organized and professional, as well as friendly.

The venue itself was beautiful, elegant and charming. Located on Boston's waterfront makes it even more desirable, as the view from the hotel was gorgeous, which was great for pictures.

It's pricey, as everything else in Boston. But you get a lot for your money, in terms of service.

We were married at the Fairmont Battery Wharf on New Year's Eve. We couldn't have been happier with the service we received, starting with our very first meeting through to the event itself. Ashley Lamy and her team took care of every need we had throughout the process and ensured that our big night went off without a hitch. The venue proved to be the perfect setting for the wedding and all of our guests raved about the quality and quantity of food. We would highly recommend the Fairmont Battery Wharf to anyone considering a Boston wedding!

My husband Jason and I were married at the beautiful Fairmont Battery Wharf (FBW) on September 24, 2011. We chose this location for four reasons: we wanted to be married in Boston; we wanted our wedding ceremony to be held outside on Boston Harbor; we heard great things about the food; and we loved the modern décor of the ballroom and skylight area.

We could not have made a better choice. From the attentive and welcoming hotel staff to the comfortable and modern guest rooms to the amazing plated dinner at our reception to the breathtaking outdoor ceremony site, the entire experience was beyond amazing. On our wedding night, the FBW gave us a suite overlooking the harbor. My wedding party got primped and ready for the ceremony in this most beautiful room as well.

The food at the cocktail hour and reception was delicious – our guests are still raving about it, saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Our guests loved cocktail hour outdoors near the waterfront. The Fairmont’s ballroom and skylight area are unique and classy – we had a blast dancing underneath the skylight. Everyone enjoyed drinks at Aragosta Bar and Bistro in the Fairmont after the reception ended – the cocktails were amazing. The next day, we held a small brunch in Aragosta. The service was top-notch and the food was delicious, especially the blueberry pancakes!

Our wedding coordinator Ashley Lamy has the patience of a saint and provided excellent service as we planned the ceremony and reception. Ashley is a true professional and an excellent coordinator. She responded to my questions and emails almost immediately and tried to be as flexible as possible with certain requests. On the day of our wedding rehearsal, Ashley insisted we rehearse the ceremony outdoors (with umbrellas!) and at the back-up site (the ballroom). Good thing she did, because the rain surprisingly went away on Saturday and our ceremony was beyond gorgeous. Thanks to Ashley, the rehearsal, ceremony and reception could not have gone any more smoothly or been any more beautiful. It was an amazing day and I wish I could do it again!

Ashley Lamy, wedding coordinator, was enthusiastic and cooperative in helping us plan our wedding which was a different type of event. She was open to our ideas and requests and she made sure that each and every detail was fulfilled perfectly. The level of professionalism she brought to the experience exceeded our expectations. The Fairmont Battery Wharf staff and venue under Ashley's direction helped to make our wedding day the most perfect day of our lives!

We chose this venue because it is right on the waterfront, right behind the North End and small enough to feel like a home away from home and big enough to accommodate our wedding of 130 ppl. This venue is unique and very classy without being overstated or too fancy. Our contact was Ashley Lamy, who was incredible. She walked us through the whole process and made us feel that we didn't need to worry about anything--and we didn't. She tried to accommodate all of our requests and even threw in some extra perks which were a great surprise. On the day of the event, everything we asked about was there and the event was flawless. We had our ceremony and cocktail reception outside with part of the reception in the Maritime museum onsite. We then moved inside for dinner. We had a buffet and the food was so good. Everyone commented on the food and how friendly the staff was. People were really impressed at the high level of service. Everyone has been telling us that this was one of the best weddings that they have ever been to and a lot of that credit goes to Ashley, the chef, the service staff, the A/V department and the bartenders (who everyone knew by name). Thank you, thank you for making this event so easy, memorable and fun!

I would not recommend this place to my friends who are getting married. We had our wedding ceremony and reception here in the summer of 2014. We spent over 20K. The positives: the location is on the water and is beautiful. The negatives: where do I start. It was extremely stressful planning with the event coordinator. Emails were unresponsive. It took several emails and nearly two weeks to be sent the reception room floor plan to plan guest dinner seating. For 20K, I expect within-day email response. When I had to contact the head event person to get anywhere, he was downright rude. They also didn't want to do a wedding food tasting in order for me to to select among the various dinner menu options, which is unheard of; had to persist to get one and it made me feel like a second-class citizen. The day before the wedding I realized they were planning to charge me 75 dollars a pop for toddler meals consisting of spaghetti w/meatballs or chicken fingers plus 25 dollars a pop for toddler drinks. That is just outrageous. Overall, I felt they were trying to rip me off at every turn. The wedding went without incident thanksfully, but the amount of stress I went through trying to organize it was really unfortunate. I would say take your money somewhere other than this corporate scam of a place.

This place is very beautiful but the dinner and dancing portion of our wedding was such a mess, I never would have booked this place had I known what was going to happen.

Servers and bartenders were rude and inattentive, the schedule for the evening was over an hour off and the only person there to help fix that was the DJ (things were so off we had to pay the photographer to stay longer and we didn’t have time to cut our cake), the lights went out in the middle of my MOH’s speech and no one knew how to fix it, one table nearly didn’t get their salads, people with allergies got food containing things they were allergic to, favour table wasn’t properly set up, signs were in the wrong place, etc.

Overall, we had a really stressful night and I genuinely regret choosing this place as our venue.
