Kirsten was amazing through the whole wedding planning process, which can be such a stressful time. Every time I would email with a question, she would write back super quick with an answer and she was there helping out throughout the entire event. The venue was beautiful, the way they set up the tables was beautiful, and the food was delicious! I got so many complements from my guests on how much they enjoyed the food.Kirsten was amazing through the whole wedding planning process, which can be such a stressful time. Kirsten & the Bear Creek staff were all very helpful leading up to the big day. They provided honest and relevant feedback based off of what we were looking for for my wedding.
I am so glad I chose to have my wedding here, it was a beautiful location and an overall easy process to get it all up and running, thanks to Kirsten and the Bear Creek staff.Kirsten & the Bear Creek staff were all very helpful leading up to the big day. I got married on August 25th, 2012 at Bear Creek and couldn't have been any happier with having both our ceremony and reception there. If you want a stress free wedding, book them!!! Lindsay Koch, the event director at Bear Creek is a dream come true to work with throughout your wedding planning process. Lindsay is extremely professional, accommodating, and reliable! She made the wedding planning process a piece of cake!!! She's willing to work with any requests that you have and will make anything happen for you so that you can have the perfect day you've always dreamt of! The grounds of Bear Creek is beautiful for wedding pictures. The backdrop of the ponds and water fountain made it an amazing place to get married in front of. Words cannot convey how amazing this place is!!!
The food at Bear Creek is DELICIOUS!!! The sake salmon is ammazing, so is the prime rib, crab cakes, proscuitto pinwheels, ect. Anything that you pick will be exceptional! The entire staff is probably the best food and serving staff I have ever worked with!!! Art-you are amazing! Thank you for making my day so special! Thanks to all the food servers working that day, you service is the best that my guests and I have ever experienced!!!
Overall, my experience with Bear Creek has been a 5-star experience. Lindsay is there throughout the entire process and is there up until you walk down the aisle to make sure that everything goes smoothly. It was the most perfect wedding I could've ever imagined because of Lindsay and everyone at Bear Creek!!!! I LOVED Bear Creek Country Club for our wedding! I even got tears in my eyes the first time I saw it because I knew it was the perfect place for my wedding. They have the full package - everything you need. Other places we looked, we had to find ways to put it together and make it work, but Bear Creek does it all for you- you dont have to worry about every little detail. Leslie was amazing - shes so organized and helpful. I couldnt imagine my wedding anywhere else. I got sooo many compliments on how good the food was (salmon and chicken). My guests loved the food, the environment, the view and even the staff. They even have a gorgeous tent overlooking the golf course - and it doesnt even cost any additional like all other places. I was so at ease with having my wedding at Bear Creek. Everything was there, the staff were friendly and helpful and the view is amazing.I LOVED Bear Creek Country Club for our wedding! The venue is beautiful. I loved the white tent with the two story balcony outside. The pictures on their grounds are just amazing. They take good care of the place. Lesley, the coordinator, was very nice and accommodating on most things. Since they are a private golf club they do have some pretty strict rules about things like when you can arrive. Lesley will always return phone calls or emails promptly and answer all your questions. Her and I discussed not allowing shots to be served at our wedding and I even had an email from her saying that no shots would be served and she would put it in their banquet event form for their workers, however, the bartender served 10 shots and it would have been more if we didn't find out and put a stop to it and they did bill us for those 10 shots. Otherwise their service was great though and overall I am very happy with them.

Kirsten from Bear Creek was extremely accommodating and very cooperative to work with from the beginning to the day of the events. She handled all communications and needs in a very efficient and timely manner and it was a great pleasure to work with her.

My wedding ceremony and reception was held at Bear Creek Country Club in September. The team at was awesome and there was nothing that my husband or I had to worry about. The night flowed smoothly and effortlessly. The setting was lovely and everything was set up the way that we had requested. It was the perfect day! This place was a beautiful place to get married! Although we didn't belong to the club or golfed, it was the perfect place for us. It had great views, fountains, and best of all... a white tent to get married under!! It was a beautiful wedding. The only thing I found to be difficult was working with the catering coordinators. The first person I started working with ended up leaving before my wedding and handed my info over to someone else. I think it could have been handled differently, but in the end it all worked out. This place was a beautiful place to get married! Bear Creek was not my original wedding venue, but I knew Bear Creek's staff could help me pull off the wedding of my 'reality". We decided not to get married @ Court in the Square 4 months before our wedding date, due to their unresponsiveness. We spent days and days looking for a new site. I then had the idea to call up an old friend and co worker at Bear Creek, and the plans were set almost instantly. Lesley Robert and Chef Don Langhans helped me create a wonderful wedding.Bear Creek was not my original wedding venue, but I knew Bear Creek's staff could help me pull off the wedding of my 'reality". Staff was very attentive. Food is delicous (salmon/chicken)--however the tasting tasted better. I loved that everything was self-contained and the site is pretty with the tent. However, the fountains did not work. Onsite coordinator is new--thus miscommunicated some information. Drainage issue occured in the locker rooms 4 days before the wedding day. As a result, we could not use the locker rooms to get ready with but they were accomodating to allow us to use the conference rooms instead. One of which did not have AC and it was a 75+ degree day. Rehearsal time was also changed 2 weeks before despite I had out of time guests coming in but they acoomodated and gave us free sandwiches for lunch which was not too much.Staff was very attentive. HORRIBLE.\r\n\r\nWhen we first met with Bear Creek to discuss having our wedding reception with them, it was wonderful. We loved the venue, everyone was incredibly nice and friendly and helpful, and we were really excited about it. About 3 months until the wedding, we contacted them again, asking when we could come in and make all the final decisions (food, linens, etc). They told us there would be an open house in a couple months (about 5 weeks before the wedding), and we should go to that so we could see/taste everything. Fine. The week after the open house, we went in and confirmed what we wanted. The event coordinator wrote everything down and told us to let her know if there were any changes or anything.\r\n\r\nOn the day of the wedding, however, NOTHING was ready. We were promised that someone would be there at 8am, and that all the tables would be set up so that our wedding coordinator could decorate and make the finishing touches. Turns out, nobody from Bear Creek showed up until 1pm! (our reception started at 5pm). Our poor wedding coordinator had to go and set up all the tables herself (someone was nice enough to let her inside the building so she could get started, but nothing was set up). Our coordinator noticed that some of the colors clashed (white table skirts on a black tablecloth), and our napkin colors didn’t look good at all. So, once the people from Bear Creek who were supposed to do all the set-up arrived, she asked if it was possible to change to a black table skirt and different napkin color. That simple question was met with HUGE resistance, and the Bear Creek coordinator started complaining about how we were supposed to inform them of any changes 30 days in advance (remember, she didn’t even let us come to make the final decisions until within 30 days, and made it clear that we could come to her for any last-minute changes). She could have politely said “no, it’s too late to make any changes, you’ll just have to try to make it work” but instead we were attacked and yelled at. Turns out, they had the other linens on site anyway and gave them to us anyway. Why make such a big deal if you end up doing it, anyway?\r\n\r\nWe were told they could do any napkin fold we wanted. A week or two before the wedding, we emailed them the napkin fold, complete with written instructions and an instructional video. They didn’t even LOOK at the instructions until after they arrived that afternoon—and started complaining that it was too complicated and too hard to do. In the end, our napkins were half-folded, and looked nothing like we requested. The least they could have done was looked at them when we emailed them the information, and told us to choose a simpler option. Instead, we got incomplete napkin folds.\r\n\r\nWhile setting up all the decorations, Bear Creek also started bring in OTHER COUPLES and future clients to look at the venue. Not only was that incredibly surprising (I’m sorry, but I don’t want strangers walking through my reception space where all my belongings are, while trying to set things up!), but the Bear Creek coordinator started telling these future clients about how horribly we were treating them, and how we “dropped a huge bomb on them this morning,” with the linens (again, she could have said ‘no.’ We in no way demanded any change, just asked if it was possible). Not only that, but she also kept on voicing (within our earshot) to the future clients about how ugly our decorations looked, and how she couldn’t believe we would want such a dark color for our linens and that overall, everything looked terrible. What in incredible lack of professionalism! If I were looking at different vendors, I would NOT be impressed by a vendor who was bad-mouthing their other clients—especially when they were right in the room!\r\n\r\nTurns out there were other services we should have been offered, but where not aware of-- for example, they would have hung up drapery in the room, to hide the huge framed pictures. However, no one told us that until casually the day-of, when it was too late to do anything about it. We were also told we\'d get a private room downstairs to change and relax in, but instead, I was forced to get dressed in the Women\'s Locker Room. Yes it\'s a nice golf club, but who wants to have their wedding dress stuffed into a locker like that?!\r\n\r\nAside from the whole day-of debacle, we had a terrible time getting them to cash our check. 5 weeks after we gave it to them, it finally got deposited. After repeated emails to them (from our honeymoon!) we finally got a one-line reply, basically saying “we did everything we can, go call our finance department.”\r\n\r\nOverall, NOT a good experience! On the plus side, it was a beautiful venue, and everyone LOVED it. We loved it, too! The servers were courteous, the food was absolutely delicious, and the place was nice. However, it was all the behind-the-scenes issues that left a bad taste in our mouth. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend them to any of our friends, despite the fact that everything turned out looking nice. The lack of professionalism was the most glaring problem, and I’m shocked everything occurred the way it did.HORRIBLE.\r\n\r\nWhen we first met with Bear Creek to discuss having our wedding reception with them, it was wonderful.
