Making preparations for a wedding is and always will be an incredibly crazy and time consuming task. When we came to addressing the wedding cake needs Bo brought about a presence that caused us to slow down, kick back and enjoy the cake deciding moment. He brought with him several of his favorites but I was already in hopes that he'd be bringing the favorite from my childhood: A medium light chocolate with the lightest of frosting with just a hint of mint. He nailed it! It was even better than I remember it ever being.
His cake was a big hit and drew the interest of many attending the celebration. We were fortunate that with everything so hectic and with all the relatives in town he was able to drop the cake off at our reception and save us all kinds of time. The cake was beautiful and beyond delicious. And, although the price wasn't bad compared to others, it was worth every penny. On top of that Bo helped lighten the mood in an otherwise hectic moment. The cake was a huge success and many were asking for Bo's number afterwards.
I can't say enough positive things to really reflect our happiness with Bo's 'product'. It was both beautiful and delicious!

Amazing!!!!! Bo's deserts are truly delicious! Our daughter chose a lemon poppy seed cake for her wedding of 70 people.
The presentation was beautiful -- a tiered layer cake with white chocolate-cream-cheese frosting decorated with a beautiful (and yummy) strip of candied lemon peel. The cake was set on a round of oak and the surrounded by fresh cut flowers and ferns. Many of our guests remarked that it was one of the most beautiful and best tasting wedding cakes they had ever had. Additionally, to accommodate the gluten-free folks, we ordered 5 dozen coconut macaroons (which magically disappeared before the cake was cut -- oh well! ) There was plenty of cake for the day of the wedding and happily we got to enjoy it for several days after that. I have to say, Bo exceeded our expectations. Without hesitation, we know who will be making the cake for our next daughter's wedding!Amazing!!!!! Bo's deserts are truly delicious! Beau created the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding, and was able to accommodate our needs perfectly. We chose a lemon-poppy seed cake, and it is by far the best cake I have ever tasted. The frosting was creamy, not overly sweet, yet delicately complex with the warmth of white chocolate. The cake itself was perfectly moist and layered with an amazing fresh lemon curd. The entire cake was decorated in candied lemon and flowers-- it was almost too gorgeous to eat! Beau's passion for his craft in apparent in every bite, and you could not have a sweeter, kinder, gentler human bringing a cake to your special day. Bo responded beautifully to our desire for a rich chocolate closure to our wedding. Three layers of rich chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, white chocolate cream cheese frosting, decorated with lovely vines and flowers of dark chocolate. Beautifully presented and eye-closingly subtle and lovely. Sweet of course, but not overwhelming in any way. Our guests had seconds, and even thirds - the caterer had to rush in and carry off the topmost small cake to save some for us!Bo responded beautifully to our desire for a rich chocolate closure to our wedding. My husband and I are both natural resource professionals, and when we decided to marry, we did so surrounded by a forest. One of the things that made our wedding so memorable was that Beau Chocolat not only made us wonderful, delicious wedding cakes (we had two types -- one chocolate and one non-chocolate), but he decorated them with chocolate leaves. These leaves were not piped on, but rather individually molded from real leaves, using highest quality chocolate, artfully arranged on the cakes, and then after the cake cutting, distributed to each guest with a piece of one or both cakes. All this to say, Beau Chocolat can and will make you the wedding cake(s) of your dreams. Since our wedding, we have been to several events over the years, (not just weddings), where Beau Chocolat has provided cakes and other treats, and each one seems to be more delicious and creative than the last. I can not say enough wonderful things about Beau Chocolat! My cake was not only exactly what I wanted but the taste, OMG! I have had the pleasure of trying other desserts and cakes by them and everything is incredible. I would HIGHLY recommend Beau Chocolat!!

Bo did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding cake! He listened to what flavors and colors we wanted for it and created his masterpiece from there. It was without a doubt the best tasting cake and most beautifully decorated cake we've ever had. It's been years since we were married but the cake was so flavorful and decadent that people still talk about it to this day. I don't know if there is a heaven, but eating Bo's delicious desserts is about as close to heaven as I'll ever get.
We have many loving memories from our wedding and other dessert parties, and enjoying Bo's decadent chocolates will always be at the top of that list. You cannot go wrong working with a baker that puts so much love, and chocolate, into his work. I highly recommend Beau Chocolat. I hold Bo and his desserts in the highest regard.
