  I was the lead in a music video and Alex was the makeup artist and hair stylist. As soon as I walked in, she was friendly and made me feel super comfortable in a setting where I really didn't know anyone.
  
  Not only did the makeup and hair turn out amazing, but she explained along with each step what she was using and what its purpose was.
  
  Alex was quick and efficient but very precise and clearly passionate about what she's doing.
  
  I would recommend Beauty by Alex to anyone I know and I plan on hiring her in the future for television and film work! She will make you look and feel beautiful :)

  Alex did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was perfect. She was very professional and used the highest quality products for both my makeup and hair. She also traveled a fair distance to my home on my wedding day and I greatly appreciated being able to get ready in my own home. I did not have a clear vision for my hair and I put the style in Alex's hands. She did a wonderful job with my long and difficult to manage hair :) We had a lot of fun at our trial session too! Her price was very reasonable. I would strongly recommend Alex for your wedding or any event.

  I not only loved the final product (which photographed very well), but I enjoyed the experience. Since she became part of the bridal suite group, it was great that she is so personable and fun to talk to.
  It's clear that she's a professional who knows her craft.

  Alex was amazing, she is such a professional and so easy to work with. She knows exactly what she is doing and works well with all ages. She gave great advice on hair and makeup.

  Alex did my hair and makeup for my Vow Renewal. She did a beautiful job! We never got a chance to do a run through, because I was living out of state. We kept in contact and shared ideas. When the big day came, I trusted that she would work her magic and she did! She budgeted her time well and was very professional. My hair and makeup was finished promptly and lasted throughout the day. I received many compliments on how gorgeous I looked.. especially my eyes. She really made my eyes pop and did a wonderful job altogether. I would like to thank her for the amazing work. She definitely has the talent and a great line of products. It was a joy to work with her. I would absolutely recommend her.

  Alex was great. She was easy to work with and did a terrific job with everyone's hair and make up. I would definately reccommend her to anyone.

  Alex was so great to work with for my wedding. She did my hair and make up (bride) and my bridesmaids make up. What I loved most about Alex is that she really listened to what we all wanted and didn't push different looks on us. She took what we were looking for and tailored the look to really bring out everyone's best features. She was pleasant and efficient with what she was doing and made sure to ask us all how we were doing throughout the entire process. She made us all so comfortable throughout it all! Her attention to detail was superb and not once throughout the entire day did I worry about how I looked. She made me feel beyond beautiful for my special day and I can't thank her enough for doing that for me.

  Alex did my makeup for my prom. I'm not one to usually get my makeup done because I always feel that makeup artists use too much eye makeup for my taste, but Alex used the perfect amount. I loved the way she did my eyes and lips without over doing the colors and still making me feel and look like myself. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist!

  Working with Alex was a great experience. We did a trial at my house a few months before and even though I was nervous about wearing too much makeup, Alex took pictures and reassured me that it was going to look great.
  
  The morning before my wedding I asked to add 2 more bridesmaids for makeup and Alex immediately said yes. Also, when we had a last minute cancellation on the day of the wedding, Alex offered to curl my bridesmaids' hair to make up for it.
  
  Everyone looked beautiful on my wedding day and Alex was super sweet about everything.
  
  My one piece of advice is to definitely have a trial or bring specific pictures. My mom did neither and ended up uncomfortable with the dark makeup (although she still looks great in the pictures).

  Hi Ariel, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with any aspect of my services. Your mom said she wanted her eyes to look awake and bright. Because of the timing, there is no time to remove and redo on the day of, which is why I always recommend a trial. In regards to the amount of time, we did add two additional people the day before and when we had a day of cancellation, I did complimentary hair on a few of your bridesmaids. Also, there was a period of time when everyone had to leave for pictures and my assistant and I sat for about a half hour waiting for people to come back down. All that aside, it was a joy to work with you. Congrats again!
