  Hire Merli even if you're scared of makeup

  I had a wonderful experience with Merli! I was not originally going to hire anyone to do makeup for my wedding because I don't wear makeup often and was terrified of looking too makeup-heavy and not like myself. Merli listened to all my concerns and gave me a beautiful look. I felt very myself, but with the best eye shadow and prettiest skin of my life. She's also just incredibly kind, encouraging, and responsive. Highly recommend!

  Best make up artist I’ve used in NYC! Sweet, detail oriented, patient.

  Merli has been doing my make up for over a year and has done a fantastic job at following what I want whether it’s me showing her a picture or me just explaining what I want. Her make up products are so amazing and make me look so natural. She gave me my own mascara and Beauty blender. She makes me feel so comfortable and if there was something I wanted her to fix she would have no problem doing so!

  I’ve utilized Beauty by Merli for my big day and she did an AMAZING job. I felt gorgeous and she made my vision really come to life, I felt so perfect and stunning. Her professionalism was unmatched and she alleviated all my covid concerns too. And she made me feel so comfortable and even taught me a few tips and tricks. Don’t wait, book her!!

  Merli is heaven sent, she listens to all my skin concerns. She gave me a flawless make up application and I couldn't be more happy. My make up lasted all night !   Absolutely amazing makeup artist! I loved having Merli do my makeup because she was super professional, made my skin GLOW and made me feel like a movie star. She did so much to make sure she met my needs and went to lengths to ensure i had the exact look I wanted. I highly highly recommend her!

  Merli has talent and style in spades and kindness to match

  I’m not used to wearing much makeup and Merli instantly put me at ease, asking for my preferences and giving me lots of options. The end result even made me tear up a bit (definitely not enough to mess us the perfect cat eye!) She made me feel like the most beautiful version of me. Hands down, recommend Merli for any occasion!

  Flawless Makeup - Natural look with a flawless finish

  I highly recommend Merli for makeup! She’s the first makeup artist to leave me feeling like I wasn’t even wearing makeup. As someone who rarely wears makeup it’s important to me that it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin. I loved the natural look she gave me, but with a photoshop polish finish. I felt like a star!

  I first met Merli at a friend's wedding where she was working along with a friend for wedding party makeup. I didn't hesitate to book them for my wedding as well. She's extremely talented, professional, and always on time. She also listened to my wishes and executed exactly what I asked for. I booked her again for my maternity shoot and my baby shower, and won't hesitate to book her again for any event. Every time she touches my face my makeup is flawless and stays in place for hours without a retouch. Book her! You won't regret it.

  Merli executed a very flawless and natural glam look for me. She was very punctual, patient, and efficient. She answered a lot of questions I had about makeup application. Very nice lady. I’ve recommended her to other friends for gigs.

I've seen her work with all types of people and adapt to their needs, including my own. She listened to my vision and executed it perfectly. I felt so beautiful and confident. Merli's makeup stayed on all day and night. I received so many compliments on how beautiful I looked and Merli was such a huge part of that. Merli is an amazing makeup artist and I would highly recommend her!
