  Rayven is amazing!

  We hired Rayven based on her beautiful hair & make-up photos in hopes to get the same result, and we got that and so much more! I first met Rayven at her studio for my beauty trial and she took so much time and care into perfecting my look! I have had experiences with other hair & makeup professionals and was disappointed when they put colors on me that didn't work with my skin tone, but not Rayven. I loved every element of it, but one of my favorite qualities of Rayven is that she made it so comfortable for me to provide my feedback and insisted that she wanted to know because she wanted me to be happy with it. She certainly had no intention of rushing the process. I was so happy with it, but she also recommended wearing the hair and make up for the day and then to send her with feedback after living with it for a while which was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable that my look would last the whole evening. When Rayven and her team showed up on the wedding day, I felt calm seeing a familiar face. She handled so many questions and requests from my friends and family with a smile on her face, we all felt that she truly was there to make sure everyone looked and felt beautiful, including my grandmother who wanted to get her hair and makeup done for the first time. The most meaningful thing that Rayven provided for me was peace of mind. Occasionally, she would quietly ask “you ok?”, and when she did, I could tell that she could see in my face that I was getting overwhelmed with the hustle and excitement of the day. Her question reminded me to breathe and be present and mindful on my special day, which as all brides know, can be difficult but is so, so important. That simple question was a gentle reminder that I couldn’t be more thankful for and truly sets Rayven apart, aside from her incredible talent for hair and makeup. Thank you so much Rayven for what you do, you’re simply the best!

  Rayven was the best!!! I appreciated that she makes you look like yourself just better! My bridesmaids and I are super picky about hair and makeup and not one person complained! Everyone was so thrilled that they looked exactly how they pictured. My sister even said it was the first time she every got hair and makeup done where it turned out exactly how she explained. I also got stitches 2 weeks before my wedding and Rayven worked wonders to hide my scar...not one person could even tell it was there!!! She was perfect and she made me and all my girls look perfect : )

  Rayven did a wonderful job on the makeup for my daughter the bride, and all the bridesmaids. we all looked beautiful on the wedding day, and our makeup stayed flawless for the entire evening.
  
  Rayven took the time at the initial consultation and trial session to get to know the bride and what she wanted. The day of, she matched the makeup for each person with their wants and personalities, and the hair stylist was able to create the perfect hair style for each person.

  I loved Rayven!! My hair remained in tact the whole day. My makeup is exactly what I had dreamed of for my wedding. The bridesmaids enjoyed her as well. She is funny and easy to talk to. Rayven did both my engagement pictures and wedding makeup and hair.

  I like to think I've learned a couple of things leading up to the Big Day...one thing I know for certain is that when you pick who will be with you all day in the bridal suite, you need people who are calming, joyful and who put you at ease. I hit the jackpot with Rayven and her team! Not only did they transform us into beauties (like almost a dozen ladies) in record time, we had an absolute blast the whole day. I'm convinced Rayven's technique to making brides feel beautiful is raw talent, makeup, hairspray and a whole lotta laughs. She truly listens to what you want - and the bridal trial really helped! - and will highlight your favorite features. Would highly recommend Beauty & The Blush for any and everything!

  I can't say enough good things about Rayven. How talented is this lady?! She does beautiful hair and stunning makeup. It's just magic.
  
  She is also incredibly hard-working. She was due a couple weeks after my wedding yet put in about 4 hours on her feet making sure me, the bridesmaids, and the moms looked fantastic. I was in awe.
  
  As a vendor, I found Rayven to be very responsive, enthusiastic, and easy to work with. She's worth every penny, and I whole-heartedly recommend her.

  If you are still looking for a makeup/hair professional for your engagements or your wedding, choose Rayven! She did both my engagements and my wedding day hair/makeup as well as my bridesmaids and I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than she did. She listens to each person and what they want and is able to execute it all FLAWLESSLY. I was nervous that my makeup and hair would not stay the same by the time my wedding started because it was several hours later and it looked the exact same from the time she completed it early afternoon until I finished with our grand exit at 11:30 At first, you will think it is somewhat expensive and you could do your own makeup or hair or go to a salon, but trust me, every penny is worth it! You want someone who can make you look like you but your best you! You do NOT need that stress on your wedding day of worrying that you won't like the way you look. You are the BRIDE. It also makes your bridesmaids feel confident and feel great about the way they look too. It takes so much pressure off and you can focus on what the day is truly about. She is very calm and goes with the flow of the day despite all of the craziness. She has an amazing talent and is also a sweetheart! I am so happy to have shared our big day with her! Thank you Rayven!

  Rayven and her team were absolutely AMAZING! They had my whole bridal party, mother and grandmother looking amazing... but not too over done. I love their techniques and they were very efficient with time. I'm very pleased and highly recommend them to others!

  Rayven did my hair and make up for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. Words cannot describe what a pleasure she was for both sessions. She was willing to meet in two different location and was more than accommodating! She listened and executed the exact look I was asking for all while smiling and chatting, which makes for a wonderful experience! Following both applications she was extremely generous when she gave me (for our engagements) and my maid of honor (wedding day) extra lipstick color for touch ups through out the evening. She went above and beyond to make everything seamless and I can't recommend her enough!

On the day of my bridal portraits it poured rain and was incredibly humid, but my beautiful updo and makeup still looked amazing come portrait time. She also successfully pulled off 9 hair and makeups the day of my wedding on a pretty tight time frame, all of which looked fantastic the entirety of the day. To put it simply, Rayven made the entirety of my bridal party look simply amazing. As a bride, she really made me feel truly beautiful and special on such an amazing day all whilst making me laugh. She seriously made me want to have her do my makeup everday and as a result, I along with a couple of my friends and family members are seriously considering taking makeup lessons from her.   5 stars at minimum- definitely a 10 star experience! Rayven is SO talented and professional! On my wedding day she had 14 girls to airbrush in a certain amount of time and she rocked it. I could not have imagined my day without Rayven helping me and my girls get ready. I wish I could recommend her to every bride out there! On a side note, my make up was finished by 12:30-1ish and made it through the wedding, reception, drive to the airport, plane ride, AND was still on 36 hours later after no sleep and finally arriving at our honeymoon destination- it was like magic.

I loved the way she took the ideas and pictures I brought her and made them 10 times better than I could've imagined. Rayven worked her magic and made me feel so pretty on my wedding day. She is a dream to work with!

  Rayven was AMAZING! After having a couple trials with other hair/make-up artist, she worked her magic and was hands down the best. Rayven understood the different looks I wanted for my bridal photo shoot and my wedding day, and made me look even better than I pictured. I wish I could mover her with me to Los Angeles!

  Loved having such a professional and talented makeup artist for my big day! My fiancé wasn't sure we needed to spend the money on something he felt I could do myself, but even he was blown away by how great the makeup and hair looked! All of my brides maids were in love with their hair and I couldn't have asked for a better stylist than Rayven!
