I chose Beaverton Florists because they have been around for so long and I have seen some bouquets they put together which made me feel I could rest assured that I would get beautiful quality flowers for my wedding day. I worked with Elizabeth who upon our first meeting was fantastic. I went in knowing nothing about flowers, had an idea of what I wanted but after speaking with her she told me it wouldn't work out well and provided some suggestions to me based upon a previous wedding she had done for a friend. After telling her the colors of the girls' dresses she suggested bright, vibrant colors and although she couldn't show me a picture, I could imagine it and told her that I had complete faith in her that she would do very well and told her to do what she felt was best. I was not able to see my flowers until hours before the ceremony but when I opened the fridge to see them, I smiled a huge smile, a deep sigh of relief and said thank you Elizabeth! She did a beautiful job! She was so easy to work with and I highly recommend the shop but most of all Elizabeth if you are at all unsure of what you want in a bouquet. Richard from Beaverton Florist did an amazing job! The flowers were better than I ever imagined. After the wedding, we donated the flowers to St. Judes Childrens hospital and they were so thrilled to have such beautiful arrangements. I will always use Beaverton Florist in the future. We had Beaverton Florist do the bouquets and two floral arrangements. They were perfect and smelled so wonderful. Tysha was very friendly and sat down with me to do a consultation to see what would be best for me. The other floral shops I looked at were very impersonal, and not so friendly. I knew as soon as I sat down with Tysha I had found my florist. She was also very responsive with some of the problems I was having in other areas around that time, and took the time to listen. I would recommend Beaverton Florist to anyone who was looking for great flowers on any occasion.We had Beaverton Florist do the bouquets and two floral arrangements. The only problem I had with this vendor was that my wedding was on a Sunday and they could not deliver on a Sunday, even for an additional charge. Had an amazing experience with Beaverton Florists even on a limited budget the flowers for our wedding turned out amazing. Our experience with Beaverton Florist was both good and bad...We only needed bouquets and boutonnieres, no alter decorations,etc., so we thought everything would go very smoothly. When we went in for a quote, we mentioned the flowers we wanted, and the florist gave us a quote of about $75 for the bridal bouquet, which sounded great. When we went in to make our flower order, the other florist with whom we spoke said that the flowers we wanted were high-end and would be at least $175. Then she said that would be for a very small bridal bouquet. As the first florist had not mentioned size at all, we were very upset to learn that we could not afford the flowers we originally wanted.
The second florist gave us another option for getting close to what we wanted for the price we could afford by offering to set a price and they would build the bouquet based on our flower selection and that price. This did mean that we had to alter which flowers we used, a big disappointment since they would no longer match the silk flowers we had purchased for the venue decorations.
We also ordered groom and best man boutionnieres, as well as some for the parents. We saved money here by asking for all boutonnieres, instead of some corsages, because the only difference was ribbon tied to the corsages, which we could add ourselves. In fact, we never added the ribbon because we went for pink roses for the moms, and white roses for the dads, which looked great by themselves.
Overall, the experience was so-so. I was disappointed in the flowers I received for my wedding. I had more than one consultation with them and I was pretty confident they understood that I wanted rust colored sunflowers to be the main flower in all the bouquets. I ended up with yellow sunflowers and not the amount I was hoping for.

Forgot a major part of my wedding flowers
Beaverton florist came highly recommended to me by a few friends that had used them for their wedding. When we went in for our consultation the woman that took the notes and pictures of what I wanted was very nice and helpful. A few times she ran back to the lead designer to ask questions, always returning with my questions answered. Fast forward to my wedding day. The delivery guy shows up and was rather rude. He hands me my bouquet and then says "well, here is the rest." 2 larger arrangements. I asked if the designer was coming to set the rest of it up as there was to be a flower archway connected to the 2 larger arrangements. He said, "Nope. This is it. I guess you can call this number but probably won't get an answer as they're closed now..." s he hands me a card with the number. I called, left a message, never ever got a call back. My mother who is friends with someone that used to work there was able to get the owners # and called him. He was rude, condescending and not helpful at all. You would think that as a business that has been around for years, you would try and do SOMETHING to help fix your mess up. But no, nothing was done. Not even an apology. This was heartbreaking. The missing piece was the focal point of my flowers. What would have been absolutely stunning...was not. Along with that missing piece was also the cake flowers. My cake lady ended up having to cut flowers off my larger bouquets to use on my cake. After never receiving a response from the owner, I called 3 days later only to be told he was "to busy to talk on the phone. " Called again the next day and was told he would be given the message and call me back..never happened. I did receive a partial refund but not nearly enough.
