    My husband and I chose this venue for our wedding. The venue is smaller but is very lovely and quaint. Perfect for smaller events. The yard area of the venue is very well taken care of with lots of space for our ceremony and all guests throughout the night. The owners are very responsive and were very helpful through out the process of reviewing the contract, payments, letting us set up and breakdown before and after the wedding. All around we were very happy to book this venue through the Charvets, they were very pleasant to work with.

    We had our event in July. There were positive comments from all that attended. In fact my friend plans on booking a celebration next spring.

    Amazing! The building is very well kept and the owners are extremely nice! Will definitely be reccomending the belma square to friends and family.

    Kathy was extremely helpful for us! We were planning for our wedding out of state which made things a little tricky but it all came together really well! We had a million questions and changed our mind about things several times but Kathy was easy to work with and was willing to help us get what we wanted! Belma has a sweet little charm to it and it worked great for our wedding day!

    Worse place ever! No Air Conditioner. This was never disclosed from the owner...
    The place was not clean, we had to dust everything, when we started putting up our wedding decor. We ended up leaving the place better then when we got it and only got 250$ out of the 300$ deposit... We had some wedding decor that we had ordered and the owner agreed we could put up. The day before our wedding she changed her mind...I had to ask her for permission to put anything up.. Even if it was just paper decor or balloons.. The bathrooms stinked and the toilets were clogging every few flushes...We'll never rent from these people again!

    Belma Square's reply:

    Our building is a 1925 Grange Hall. It is an old building which is quite obvious when you take the tour. We let everyone know up front that there is no Air Conditioning especially for the months of July and August. Some decorations are not able to be hung due to the age of the building so I'm very sorry you were not happy with these situations. The contract states in the first page that $250 is the refund. Again, I'm sorry you were not happy with our place, we have had many very happy weddings and other events.
