Benny was the musician and DJ at our wedding reception, and we could not have been more happy with his amazing musical talent (he plays several instruments and sings) and expertise.
Benny is truly a musical renaissance man, with all the instruments he plays: flugelhorn, violin, trumpet, piano, just to name a few. He was easy and wonderful to work with.
As a DJ, Benny provided lists of songs to choose from but was also open to our own suggestions! This was crucial, because we had a lot of family and friends from Germany and Belgium in attendance, who requested some of their favorite songs in advance. As a DJ, Benny read the crowd well and got people on the dance floor in no time. We had several meetings in advance of our wedding, and Benny always went above and beyond to provide what we wanted, make suggestions, and help us make our dream wedding come true. He also provided the sound system and speakers for our ceremony.
Benny and his assistant were flexible and extremely well organized. Between the two of them, they managed to cover both the ceremony location in our backyard, as well as the reception location in an event venue about 30 minutes away. We had a wonderful time working with Benny and highly recommend hiring him for any event! -

Benny was absolutely a pleasure to work with and one of the most talented musicians I have ever met. He was our musician for our wedding ceremony at the San Francisco City Hall and our DJ and MC for our reception at The Hibernia on June 4, 2022. During our wedding ceremony, Benny played live violin with instrumental music to create the most beautiful atmosphere. During our cocktail hour, Benny played live violin, flugelhorn, and sang a mix of jazz and classical music, and throughout the rest of the reception he continued to sing live music while also being the MC and DJ (it was his Live Music Mix Mode Package). Benny is extremely responsive, and has such a happy, fun personality. He had us fill out a very detailed schedule of events in advance to make sure the whole day ran smoothly. He gave us a long list of songs to choose from for the ceremony and the reception. He graciously spent a lot of time with me over the phone to help me brainstorm ideas of songs when I felt too stressed to do it myself! Throughout the day so many of our guests continually told us how much they loved Benny! It felt so unique and special to have someone able to sing live, DJ, and MC at the same time. It was such a highlight of our wedding day. I highly recommend working with Benny!

Benny killed it on our big day! We had the strings for our ceremony and cocktail hour and then he switched to DJing for dinner and dancing. The biggest surprise is when he starting performing during dinner service. Everyone was so impressed and talked about how amazing he was weeks after. He kept the party going and was super easy to work with. Book him if you can!! -

Benny and his team did a wonderful job at our wedding. I was so stressed that people would not dance but Benny got everyone into it and even I was dancing all night. He really played to the crowd well. We were so happy with how it all came out, thank you Benny and team! -
User2091471 Sent on 04/08/2015We were delighted to have had an opportunity to work with Ben again for our most recent simcha. This time we began with Klezmania but then transitioned to having Ben as the DJ during our event. As with our last event, Klezmania filled our room with energy and joy. I wasn't sure before the event how well the transition to DJ would go but, to my relief and delight, Ben artfully made the shift and, before long, kids, teens, and adults were all dancing up a storm. Everyone was extremely pleased with the event and, as in the past, Ben was a pleasure to work with in all of our dealings. Todah Rabah! -
User2097548 Sent on 04/15/2015My husband and I hired Ben to perform the violin and DJ for our wedding earlier this month. He did an amazing job. He kept me on track, helped develop a playlist for the ceremony and worked with myself and the other vendors in developing our timeline. He was responsive to emails, professional, easy to work with and on time for the event. The music at the reception was a huge success. He can read a crowd well, played a wide range of music and I think he got everyone, including my 97 year old grandmother, out of their seats! The wedding was a blast! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and musician!

User2089077 Sent on 04/06/2015We hired Benny Be for our wedding in November, 2012. From the first meeting with him I immediately got a great vibe from him. He was very calm and easy to work with. He and I spoke during one of my many thousand questions leading up to the wedding, and every conversation he was extremely helpful and provide great guidance.
Now comes the wedding day. I had to do absolutely nothing with regards to Benny's plans. He was true perfection. He started out our ceremony playing the violin, which was simply amazing, and continued through the cocktail hour. So elegant and relaxing, it made the guests very comfortable.
Now comes the party!!!! He did such a fantastic job, played exactly the songs I requested and took recommendations from our guests, which I advised was ok prior to the event. Everyone said it was the best reception music they've ever heard and everyone had such an amazing time.
If I have another event or a friend asks for a recommendation, I'd refer them to Benny any day!!!!!!!

The acoustic music worked out just perfect for the first bit. The hora was energized and so much fun! The DJ portion was fun. The games were fantastic. You had so much good energy and our friends had such a good time!
