  We had our ceremony and reception here and it was amazing!! We worked with Julia and she took us through the process step by step and never missed a detail!! All of our guests were talking about how great the food and drinks were for weeks after.

  Venue was perfect for our event, it could not have been any better. All the people were so great to work with it really made the whole thing easy and I was so happy with how everything turned out.

  Andrea was extremely helpful with planning the food for my wedding reception. She responded quickly and ensured that I didn't have to worry about anything on my wedding day.

  Andrea and her amazing staff at the 9th street abbey were fantastic. We had our ceremony and our reception there back to back and they effortlessly made the transition perfectly. They were always available through email or phone and were willing to work on a menu and look we wanted for the Abbey. So many places only let you do so much with their space, so having an open door policy where we were able to bring ideas to the table too was really cherished.
  
  The selection of heavy hors d’Oeuvres (those mushroom sliders were truly amazing BTW!!) we chose worked out super with the staff doing passed hors d’Oeuvres and stations. All of the food tasted like it did during out tasting and we received plenty of compliments on them. Bartenders were great pourers and super accommodating to our guests, they couldn’t have been better. I just love the look of the venue & loved how they worked with my vendors and not dictating to them like you see at so many other venues. Egos all in check here!

  This venue is absolutely spectacular. We recently moved to St. Louis and our guests were from the D.C. and Philadelphia areas. They remarked all night about how unique and gorgeous the venue looked. Candles on the tables were really pretty with the cathedral windows, and the beauty of the abbey just made the evening magical.   Gorgeous location. No need for a wedding planner when you do it here- they took care of everything as far as timing of wedding. Food was excellent too!

  We LOVED Beyond Broadway for our event. The food was delicious. The venue was spacious. Everyone was amazingly accommodating and helpful. All of our guests loved the venue, and we HIGHLY recommend it. Andrea was so easy to work with and lovely! Thanks for an amazing night!

Andrea did an outstanding job. She was there to help us along the way and made every one of our requests happen. Whenever we asked, can we do this or put this here her response was always yes, let me help that happen. The evening would not have run so smoothly without her. The way the venue was set up. It was big but didn't feel like you were lost or away from the action. People hung out in the bar area; played the games, danced or sat at tables. It was a magical night for all of us.

  We had a wonderful small wedding in the Upstairs Loft. The staff was very friendly and everything worked out perfectly. They helped planning and organizing. The food was nice and lovely prepared. We had lots of small appetizers.

  We worked with Jenny Madras here and absolutely adored her. The space is so unique and really is just beautiful! We were a little disappointed in the food but other than that things went really well. We were quite pleased with everything overall!

  Andrea was wonderful. So very helpful in every way possible. The servers at the event were great, but we did have a few comments about the friendliness of the bartenders.

  I want to begin this review by saying that I loved my wedding at the 9th Street Abbey Rooftop Deck. It was beautiful, the food was great, and I wouldn't change a thing about the event itself. The coordinators worked with us to create the small (50-guest), intimate, personal wedding we had dreamed of, and they were quick to respond to us any time we had a question or wanted to visit with parents or a vendor.
  
  BUT there was a lot of miscommunication in the 2-3 days leading up to the event, which was really stressful:
  *We were told we could set up for our wedding the evening before, which ended up not to be the case. This totally threw off our wedding day plans and led to my husband and his family having to show up on the morning of the wedding instead, which wasn't in the plans.
  *They had switched the chairs in the venue to different ones that I hadn't seen before without talking to us (and then claimed they had spoken to us about it - again, not the case!). I was more upset that they'd said they had contacted me when they hadn't.
  *When my husband arrived to set up, the layout of the room was completely wrong, even though the contract included the layout we'd agreed upon. My husband and his best man had to carry tables from the storage area into the venue themselves.
  *And, lastly, as I was standing outside of the venue waiting to walk down the aisle, the coordinator we'd been working with so closely left us for the other wedding going on downstairs in the main room (the bigger, more expensive wedding), and I was left with a server. Our coordinator didn't reappear until much later in the evening.
  
  The setting up problem and the layout were taken care of by the coordinator (with my husband's guidance), so I do appreciate that she did that. And, as I said in the beginning of the review, the wedding was beautiful in spite of the issues that popped
