When I first looked at the Big Horn Resort, I knew that this was the place my husband and I were meant to get married at. The Wedding Garden is beautiful, the convention rooms are big and have plenty of room for guests to walk around and not feel smashed together, and the rooms are just as great. Nice and clean, the beds are comfy, and the hotel staff is amazing and wonderful! Brenda, the event coordinator is absolutely amazing to work with. She responded to all my phone calls very quickly, was very helpful with any questions and (the many) changes I had made. The event crew was just as wonderful. The site was absolutely beautiful! The value was excellent. Brenda was so easy to work with and always willing to go above and beyond. The reception room was great and the staff was helpful. It was nice to have the option of them catering or we could bring in our own caterer and they could use the kitchen. The only drawback is there is not an outside sound system so with a large number of people at the ceremony the people in the back had difficulty hearing the ceremony. Cons: Terri the event coordinator is horrendous at getting in touch with you over email or phone. We didn't even sign the contract until two days before the event! She also over booked rooms for the day before so we couldn't set up when we needed to.
Food was expensive as you cannot bring in a caterer.
Overall, I would not recommend the Big Horn for as long as Terri is the event coordinator. However if she were to ever change positions I would absolutely consider it.Pros: Great staff. Fantastic food. Everything came together in the end.

Our experience wasn't the best of all yes we had a great wedding because it was our day but for what we paid for we were treated very poorly by all staff except Maria in the breakfast shift and a gentlemen named Michael ! The staff that ran the front desk were very unprofessional and rude and treated not only me but all my family and friends poorly. The morning of our big day we were told that we could be there at 9 am to set up our reception hall and when we arrived nothing was ready they had a party there the night before and nothing was cleaned up so we couldn't do anything until almost 1130...Our experience wasn't the best of all yes we had a great wedding because it was our day but for what we paid for we were treated very poorly by all staff except Maria in the breakfast shift and a gentlemen named Michael ! At the reception we were again treated poorly my husband was told that he was over eating and that he really didn't need to take that much food excuse me we paid for it so mind ur own. As the night progressed we all had a great time till about 11pm when a gentleman came in and told us we had to shut the fog machine down which was fine we did but then about 20 minutes later he came in and shut the whole placed down by turning the lights on and asking everyone to leave we were paid to be able to enjoy ourselves till midnight. The kitchen manager then began to get into a verbal altercation with our dj and treated my family very rude so we left and went to our rooms. To top the whole expiernece off our rooms were suppose to be charged on our card and instead they charged our families cards when we were told that would not happen. The next day we went to get our things everything except our centerpieces were destroyed very upsetting. Then we went to leave and was told we could have our left over food which again we were denied. We had a meeting and yes comp back some but in the end I wouldn't recommend!! -
